From the beginning, Hannah was doing about five things at once. She was helping several customers, answering questions, sweeping and cleaning, keeping track of merchandise, and working through closing responsibilities. What stood out was that none of that translated into making me feel hurried. I actually became self-conscious when I realized how late it was and worried I was keeping her there. Hannah reassured me and continued helping me with exactly the same patience. I can be very particular about clothes once I start trying things on. I was explaining which fabrics I like, why certain styles don't work with my shoulders, that I prefer flowy silhouettes and longer wide-leg pants, and that I wanted things I would realistically feel comfortable wearing. Instead of treating all of that like I was being difficult, Hannah used it. Every time I explained why something wasn't working, she refined what she recommended next. She helped me find wide-leg cotton pants that were so comfortable I asked her to remove the tag because I wanted to keep them on. When I couldn't figure out the unusual construction of a black wrap top, she patiently showed me exactly how it worked and talked about how she styles the same piece herself. She also helped me find a beautiful purple dress that turned out to be incredibly adjustable and versatile once I got home and experimented with it. One of my favorite parts of the visit was rediscovering Earthbound's preserved butterfly displays. I bought a larger one from another Earthbound years ago during a really happy memory in my life, and I still own it today. Seeing them again immediately brought that memory back. Hannah knew the product well enough to answer my questions about the butterflies and explain what she understood about how they are sourced and preserved. I chose a smaller wooden frame with two unusual butterflies, and before I even had to think about carrying such a delicate piece around the store, she offered to put it safely at the register for me while I continued shopping. That little interaction probably sums up Hannah best: she notices things and handles them before they become a problem. I also found a Moon-themed botanical tote that happened to be the last one. By the end I had purchased the butterfly frame, tote, pants, wrap top, and dress. That sounds like an extremely successful sales job, but it didn't feel like I had been "sold" anything. It felt like somebody paid enough attention to understand what I actually liked. Even after closing time, Hannah was still patient, professional, and kind while continuing to take care of the store. It was obvious to me that she has substantial experience with Earthbound because she knew the merchandise, understood how the clothing actually fit and functioned, knew the story behind different products, and was completely on top of what was happening around her. A really good manager can make all of that work look easy, which probably means customers don't always notice how much effort is happening in the background. I noticed. Hannah is an asset to this store, and I genuinely hope Earthbound recognizes her for it.

Domenika Home, is a family owned business. I was able to speak with the owners, Steven and Cecilia. The crystals come from Brazil which is great! I love having crystals from different parts of the world. They were both very welcoming and happy to help. I had my kids with me which you know can be stressful when there are breakables or delicate items around. They were kind and patient with us which made me feel at ease. I wish I could've taken a ton of photos to show you the shop. I was just carrying too many items to really do anything. They had crystals and stones for decoration, collecting and as jewelry. I purchased two satchels for my kids who also collect crystals. The one I posted is the one of 4 medium size for $10. The other we got was 10 small for $5. The prices at their store was really good and he's got some very beautiful ones that I do plan to return for. I highly recommend this shop for the quality, price and wonderful customer service. I used to be a milspouse and while we lived in CO l had a horrific experience with a jewelry repair. All I needed was a watch battery replaced but two jewelry stores stripped the screws on the back of the watch! The one jewelry store kept telling me week after week that the screws needed this lubricant to help them unscrew. After 4+ weeks of this nonsense l finally told them to give me the watch back, we were done. I found that they were unable to get any screws out because all 4 were still in when l received it back (a lie from them saying they were waiting on the last 1-2 to unlock). I ended up visiting my family in CA and Brian and his wonderful jewelers not only had it fixed in less than a week, they also gave it a thorough look over and put in new screws that work better than the originals that came with it. I also had an antique platinum setting that l bought to use as my wedding ring except the middle diamond in the original setting was really small. I had a larger one to have set into it and there is NO ONE else l would trust with that! They did a beautiful job and you'd never know it wasn't original to the ring. It looks like it was meant to be that way. A secretary at my kiddos' school was telling me about her ring that so many jewelers couldn't fix. I recommended her to this shop. Although she went to their Mission Viejo location instead, she said she was thrilled that they were finally able to fix her ring when so many others said it couldn't be done. Currently, my late dad's Rolex is being checked by their watch person. My mom and stepdad have both gone through their watch person as well and have had no complaints. I think the best thing is the relief l feel when dropping my jewelry off here. I know that it will be in the best care and get the fix it needs. Brian stands by his work and l can say that from an issue (that would have happened when repairing it anywhere) that happened and Brian has more than made it right in the very rare situation that has happened. Brian's expertise and integrity is unmatched. I trust him implicitly and only come here for any repairs l need done. They are kind, professional, and knowledgeable.
