I want to give my highest praise to Karen, the manager at Bella Terra Kohl's on 12/24 before 2pm, for her exceptional help, friendliness, and kindness in resolving an issue I had with a dual discount promotion of 40% and 25%. From start to finish, Karen was exceedingly patient, a great listener, and genuinely understanding, taking the time to carefully listen to my situation both over the phone and in person, ensuring that the original requests from different associates were honored. What truly amazed me most was her patience, kindness, equanimity, even temperament, and her genuine intent to listen throughout this situation. Those are the marks of a great leader. Her ability to multitask--managing the situation with me while also running the store--was also impressive, but it was her calm, understanding, and empathetic approach that really stood out. During the process, my Kohl's card was having trouble being accessed due to the large amount of the transaction. While I was on the line with Capital One, Karen was very patient and understanding of the entire situation. I truly appreciated that she did not rush me despite the challenges in accessing the account. Even till the end, she reminded me to keep my Kohl's Cash and continued to be patient and kind throughout. Karen was also very knowledgeable about Kohl's procedures, including accessing my Kohl's credit card account, and was incredibly helpful in ensuring that the process honored the intended discounts while providing excellent customer service. She even apologized for the inconvenience, assuring me that she would make the situation right and take care of both me and the issue. Regarding the policy adjustment, Karen did state that the 25% discount technically should not have been added. However, considering the different factors and misrepresentation by prior associates, she was able to honor it. For me, this is what excellent customer service looks like--she takes ownership for the company's misrepresentation, and instead of shaming anyone, she works to train, figure out what went wrong, and make things right. Making this exception earned Kohl's a loyal customer, knowing there are great managers like Karen who are understanding of miscommunications and misrepresentations and seek to resolve them for an excellent customer service experience. This experience was in stark contrast to a male manager with glasses and gray hair who was in charge on December 23rd from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. He was very unfriendly and mean, and I was close to returning all of my products and closing my Kohl's card due to this poor interaction. Thanks to Karen, however, I am happy to continue shopping at Kohl's because her positive service made me feel valued, seen, and genuinely listened to. I also want to give recognition to the worker who helped me plug in the return. She had brown hair and brown skin and was very nice and understanding throughout the process. She did not seem annoyed or rude at any point, and while I didn't get her name, she was also great. Karen's patience, empathy, friendliness, knowledge, and expertise completely transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a genuinely positive experience. I sincerely wish her continued success and promotions within the Kohl's company and give her a 10 out of 10 for her remarkable service. Stopped by to make an Amazon return. The line was long, but it moved rather quickly. I had my QR code ready to go and was all set. When it was my turn to move up, Vickie ( the employee) called out "can I help you?" In a not so friendly tone. I proceeded to walk up to her counter and her frown felt through her face mask. I asked her how her day was and no answer. So I repeated myself again and no answer. I guess she wasn't having a good day, then I proceeded with the awkward interaction of showing her my QR code and giving her my Amazon return. I can't help but feel bad for her. Anyway, I love this location at Bella Terra. There's plenty of parking on the Edinger lot. The store always seems clean and uncluttered. This store is amazing. I almost never do not get a great deal here! Black Friday sale a $105 quilt with another coupon discount ended up $39 and some change. A cool sports jacket $185 I found on a half price rack and after another discount It cost me $47. Most recently a $63 3.5 quart enameled cast iron dutch oven I found online for about $40 and the associate said we can do better than that and it cost me $30 and some change. It looks beautiful and I can't wait to cook with it. I've purchased jeans and other pants here for very reasonable prices. They have a great variety - Levi's, Wrangler, Haggar and others. Today I was really shocked, in a good way, at how nice the dress I found was, it looked like something from anthropology, before they went downhill. I bought the dress without trying it on, got it home and it fits like a glove, I love it. Located in the Bella Terra center off Edinger Ave in Huntington Beach. Parking is shared with all the other businesses in the center there is also a parking structure on the other side as well. This Kohl's is combined with a Sephora inside. I mainly came for an Amazon return since it was on my way to my softball game in Irvine. Usually I'll go by my house. Kohl's is a different experience and a really nice run operation. The selection of clothing and home goods is unique and well thought out. However my main reason for going here is the Amazon drop off. Any time I have an Amazon package that is being returned, I go to drop it off at Kohl's. It is quick and accurate and rarely is there an issue. You also get a coupon from them to save at buying something at kohl's so I have always used to buy my daughters the little stuffed animals that you see near the checkout area. They are not expensive and the savings makes it worthwhile. read more

Usually it's not a long wait for returns but this time it took me about 20 minutes to return my item for Amazon. additionally with this location it is in an inconvenient location. You have to go up stairs and go deep into the store to find the kiosk for return. Parking in Bella terra can be hit or miss so if you do returns recommending parking on the side away from Barnes and Noble to maximize your chances of finding parking. read more

Rude passive aggressive girl working at the amazon return on 1/27/24. Majority of people who work the amazon return are extremely rude and lack customer service skill. They don't know how to greet you. greet you when you leave or thank you. The girl makes you awkwardly wait holding your phone for a long time while she takes her sweet time to bag the item when she should scan your barcode first. And then yanks the item from you. Dude if you aint gonna scan the barcode first then tell me instead of letting customers hold the phone mid air the entire time. Also nosy as hell examining your item. My school-aged Daughter and I have shopped here a couple of times, and have only had positive experiences. We needed dress shoes to match with my Daughter's newly bought dress for her piano recital today. Yesterday (Saturday) we went to Kohls and found the perfect ones! The shoes were on sale to "boot"! What's more, Alanis (at the register) patiently helped me through the process of becoming a Loyalty Member so that we can save even more in the future (process was quick n ez). With many locations to choose from, each experience may different from one another. Kohl's is located in the Bella Terra Shopping Center in the city of Huntington Beach. It's just off of the 405 freeway, on the corner or Edinger and Beach Blvd. You'll find plenty of parking in the lot since there are enough spaces to accommodate customers who are also shopping at nearby businesses. Kohl's has a great variety of clothes that are reasonably priced. They offer common brands like Levi's etc. They carry clothing for the whole family from infants to adults, also including larger sizes and maternity wear. I have found a nice assortment of kitchen supplies and bedding. However, I always watch the prices and purchase my items when they go on sale. The neat thing about Kohl's is all of the coupons that they send you via physical mail or through email. When you return packages for Amazon, they'll give you a coupon to take 25% off of your purchase at Kohl's (excluding some brands). You'll end up purchasing an item that's already on sale and get a bigger discount! This is basically how and why I started to shop at Kohl's for work clothes. What makes this Kohl's different from any other location that I've been to is that the layout and the level of cleanliness. This store is larger than others and always fully stocked. I was even surprised to find a self checkout option. This is something that I have yet to see at other locations. I really like this location due to the quantity of clothing that is offered. This kohls location really need to keep their fitting room clean especially around this season. These photos are taken in the junior fitting room. It's a mess with dust bunnies and large lint balls everywhere. Everytime you move around trying on clothes, these stuff would fly everywhere. It's a huge health concern especially since I am rhinitis allergic. This is the SECOND time I've seen this location in this condition. If there were negative stars or black marks this place would undoubtably have them. The experience my mom and I have had today is definitely one for the books, and if the staff had name tags on I would let the world know exactly who did this. First and foremost the minute I walked in to this store I was followed by a blonde loss prevention agent. Thats cool whatever. No grass off my ass. I go upstairs to check out shoes and underwear. Blondey made it more than apparent that he was following and made a show to change associates because I caught him following us. I felt too uncomfortable with the amount of accusation to even decide on shoes so I left them somewhere else. I picked some underwear and noticed blondey again. We go downstairs to pay for our things. Blondey follows behind. We scan EVERYTHING in our cart take the tags off and finish paying. As it was time to choose how we receive our receipt we were asked to show our ID. I asked why, because literally NO ONE ELSE was asked for their ID or card. The unpleasant troll then tells me two excuses in one - we card everyone and your order was over $100. Which is entirely untrue because my friend works there. So I point out that I know for a fact that wasnt true. She then CLAIMS we didn't pay so my mom offers cash, I tell her before any money is handed to troll that she needs to check her bank. Sure enough we were charged for this transaction and sure enough do not get a receipt because of the profiling the troll has done. If you don't have tattoos that are visible this is a wonderful place. If you do have tattoos the night associates and management will profile you, make you feel dirty, like you're doing something wrong, and like a second class citizen. Never shop here if you are tattooed. They don't appreciate your business and will not respect you whatsoever. read more

The regular wares -- clothing, household, jewelry, etc. -- were typical of any other location. A little disorganized for my liking, but that might just be a personal thing. My frustration with Kohl's is that the prices change so frequently. This location now utilizes the electronic price signs on the racks. I've seen prices change from day to day; I personally find this annoying. On my last visit to this location in Bella Terra, I was looking for an essential oil diffuser. When checking out they get a huge attitude if you are on your phone. They obviously can't know how important the call is. I bought shoes while on my phone and they threw the box down. I asked for a bag and she said, "Well, you were on your phone, so I didn't think you wanted a bag." I understand that being on your phone while checking out sets some people off. Here, it also ruins their logic. One night I ran in shortly before closing to buy socks for work the next day and made sure to end my conversation with my sick aunt before checking out, planning on calling her right back. A customer was standing really close behind me and STOLE MY CELL PHONE OUT OF MY PURSE. I got into the parking lot to call my aunt back, and my cell phone was gone. I followed up for days with lost and found, and sure enough, it never turned up, confirming it was stolen. We spent an hour perusing. Organization was a bit confusing...the women's section was so massive I walked around the whole floor twice trying to see what specific clothing I needed. This Kohl's has a great selection of clothes in the sizes you need. Everything I've been interested in online, I've been able to find at the store. This store is always very clean, even when it was 2 weeks prior to Christmas this location had a lot of their items well organized throughout. The employees are ok. On the sales floor they just seem to talk among each other. I don't mind since I've really never needed any help. At the register they are all very quick and I've never had to wait too long to checkout which is nice. They usually have an employee at the front of the line redirecting people to open registers. When you purchase items online, you're able to pick up your purchases at their customer service in the second floor. This Kohls is in an excellent shopping center.
