I've got no little ones myself, and frankly, if I did - shops like this would be the death of my bank account. I think I'd go absolutely broke. But I did buy a gift here recently - a super lovely little green and white romper. Sure, $42 is probably a bit much for baby clothes on a regular basis, but for a gift? A-ok! While doing that he dropped it a few times on the floor, where a worker brought that to my attention, understandable, so I placed it in my basket. Finally we had all decided on a jelly cat and my son changed his option to another one I took a look at the dog and he was still in great condition so I put it back. When we were about to pay the cashier bluntly expressed if we would purchasing the dog since my son a dropped it. It wasn't the situation that frustrated me and it was the way I was approached about it. You know what I bought them all because I didn't want to ruin my children's experience that I had hoped would be different. She then tried to be nice about the situation but honestly my husband and me felt uncomfortable. We witnessed another child tossing and licking other stuff animals and left without buying anything, yet here we were buying 3 jelly cats and then almost forced to buy a fourth getting rude customer service. Definitely will not be shopping here ever again. I think specifically her name was Alysa who was the one out of the three who made us extremely uncomfortable. One of the worst customer experience I had in my life

When I came to pay, they asked me to come by the next day because the stroller was "in a warehouse around the corner" and they didn't want to pick it up for whatever reason. There were four employees in the small boutique store, and only a few customers that were perusing/asking questions about strollers. I let them know that I needed the stroller tomorrow and also that it would be really hard to drive in on a workday in traffic to grab it, but they still said they couldn't pick it up because they were too busy with other customers for the rest of the day (like what???)... I left and am planning on purchasing from another store. Baffled as to how they make sense of letting someone buying an expensive stroller with no fuss or questions walk out of the door.

We'd walked past several times that morning-- each time seeing shoppers inside, doors wide open, voices spilling out. It looked like a lovely shop, very much my style. My husband and sons waited on a bench outside while I went in. The store has a U-shaped layout, which naturally leads you through racks of clothes, past a section of house decor, around by the dressing rooms, and then back toward the front. As I was browsing near the dressing rooms -- wearing an LA hat, a white tank, jean shorts, and flip flops, smiling and enjoying the afternoon -- the saleswoman looked directly at me and said: "Let me know when you want to go out and I'll unlock the door." Startled, I looked at her confused. She repeated it. And that's when it sank in. Trying to stay calm, I said, "Yes, please unlock it." She walked over with no apology, no explanation. Only a knowing look. As she slid the lock, she said something along the lines: 'You have yourself a nice day.' I smiled and replied, "I look forward to having a nice day," even though inside I was stunned and hurt. I know exactly what happened here. She had every flicker of understanding of what she was doing. This is unacceptable --especially on a day meant to celebrate freedom and independence. If you care about humanity, community, and basic decency - it's worth remembering moments like this happen more often than many care to admit.

They brought out my pair of shoes that is nicely wrapped in the box; newer than new. Brought me over to the couch and had me try it on. I love the personalized service and the VIP treatment.
