In store experience was 5/5…read more This is my first time consigning so I didn't know what to expect and I don't think the website is very clear on how things work either. Before scheduling an appointment for consignment, I got a text from their liaison. I was trying to ask her for more details, and she was just pushing me to schedule an appointment. I bought 6 items to the store in Lido. At the front desk, a staff goes through the items and tells you what is eligible for consignment, which are items that are worth 1k and above in resale. Whatever is under 1k, you can still leave them for resell and "leave the rest to fate" sort of speak. What I mean is that you don't know whether they will accept the items or how much they will price it. And you get a very low % in return if they do get sold. Back to my consignment items- shout out to Josh. He was so very friendly and very approachable. And clearly great at his job. We had a great chat while he examined my items. I had two bags on consignment. One was sold within a week. Now to the non-consigned items. I had 4 items: 3 handbags (Prada, Kate spade and Tory Burch) and one jewelry (a pair of never worn Marc Jacobs earrings). The earrings were not accepted and should be sent back to me. The Kate Spade bag was never used, stored in the original storage bag, with tags attached. Somehow it was rated as "good" in condition, which I didn't really agreed with. On the bright side, the Tory Burch bag was sold within a day and the Prada bag sold within a week. Overall, I had a good first experience. I think if you don't have time or energy to deal with people and listing, this is definitely a great option. I would resell here again.

An Absolute Gem! I…read morerecently visited the Newport Beach store and brought in what can only be described as a ton of pieces that I wanted customized. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but honestly, I wasn't completely sure how I wanted everything to come together. I'm pretty sure the amount of pieces I brought in would have overwhelmed just about anyone--but not Amaris! Amaris was absolutely AMAZING! She was so patient, creative, and full of incredible ideas. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, helped me make decisions, and even helped me pick out a few new pieces to complete my set. She somehow took my mountain of bags, pouches, fannies, and backpacks and turned it into exactly what I was envisioning! What impressed me most was her attention to detail. She helped me decide exactly where each patch and piece of stitching should go, and everything came out PERFECT. We even left to grab something to eat while our pieces were being worked on and came back later to pick everything up. The anticipation was worth it because I was absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out! Amaris has such a wonderful personality, is incredibly talented, and is also an amazing salesperson without ever making you feel pressured. She genuinely cares about creating something that you'll love, and that really comes through in her work. I will absolutely be back and will specifically seek out Amaris for all of my future patching and customization. She is a true gem and such an asset to the store. If you're visiting Newport Beach and want something customized, ask for Amaris--you won't regret it!

The location is beautiful and super easy to find! I had no hidden corners, just a bright, open, and inviting storefront. The shop itself is so nicely decorated, everything feels thoughtfully put together and fun to explore. I came specifically for their Sunday pop-up featuring the Hannah Montana exhibit, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Such a cute and nostalgic experience! On top of that, the service was great (they took as many photos as you wanted for you) everyone was friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. One of my favorite parts is the customizable, limited merch--it makes the whole visit feel even more special and unique. Merch was high value and nice quality so you get what you are paying for. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to! Thank you.

The people working there are always so kind and are always willing to help and interact with you. I can always count on the Red Balloon when it comes to the value of the clothes, the amazing service, and how much they have to offer. I completely recommend this store to anyone looking for adorable clothes that come at a good price.

We were well aware of the dynamics within Newport Beach where non-white people will be treated differently. I was prepared and knew the demographic makeup. So, if you are not white and thin, please spend your money elsewhere. There are lot more small/women owned boutiques that will appreciate your hard earned money. Maybe other boutiques will have a larger selection of clothes, brands, and sizes. Not worth the visit. I'm embarrassed to have made it a point to come here while on a mini day trip to Newport Beach. Again, POC do not come here! They think we don't have money to buy their items and will keep a watchful eye on you while other shoppers get better experiences and treatment.
