The lowest standard of professional is most definitely in stock at this South Coast H&M I love H&M for cute simple basics but this store was just beyond chaotic and strange. I don't know if it's the supervisor or not but the woman with the blue hair was literally shouting at her staff over the PA system it was so awkward. Literally all the customers and I were looking at each other wondering if we were getting pranked. She was shouting at them for breaks or their positions on the floor as she was just standing by the front entrance meanwhile every alarm you could possibly think of was just going off in the background with no sense of urgency to address by any of the staff. I was in the fitting room and overheard someone asking the male attendant to grab different sizes. He happily went to get them -- super nice! Then when I needed a bigger size, I asked the female attendant, and she just stared straight into my eyes for a good 30 seconds, pursed her lips, and said with attitude, "We don't do that here." This is the last time I will ever visit this particular H&M store. We were treated to rude and abysmal service by the employees on duty at 8:30 PM. I understand that they were trying to wrap up their workday, but they showed absolutely no regard for our comfort while I was browsing the store. It was incredibly uncomfortable to have a complete stranger standing so close to my face--without even respecting personal space out of simple common courtesy. My God, I am grateful for the patience you granted me during those awkward moments with such ill-mannered people. I do not recommend this place for your shopping needs. Found a bomb ass black blazer dress here. Best part was that it was on sale for $30 and still had my small size in stock. Other than that, can always count on H&M to carry timeless pieces at an affordable price. Clothing luckily also last more than just a few washes also. This was a fancy mall walking through, but I'm glad to see there's a variety of stores here. Can't believe there's not just one, but two merry go rounds right inside. There's a giant bridge that takes you to the other side of the mall with umbrellas at each entrance in case it rains getting to the other side. The good: They have great deals here. I saw boots for $12-25 and I got myself a pair that looked similar to other brands that cost over $100/pair. Some of my favorite shoes have been from H&M! Their men's section had more sales than I usually see at other H&M locations. I thought the store was orderly and easy to navigate. The women's section is separated from the men's by a wall. The prices here are very fair. The bad: I find that their sizing is slightly smaller than normal. I always have to size-up here. The interesting: H&M started in Sweeden. A girl working the fitting room tried opening my curtain while I was undressed because some other customer supposedly left the clothes she was trying on in there but when I went in the room was clear of any clothes. I don't know if the kids nowadays just don't have common sense anymore or they're just super slow because regardless why would you just try to open the curtain while I was in the room? I love this particular store & location. They always seem to have the most available sizes & selections at all times. The only department they are missing is a lingerie department. I wish they would put one in! I came in today to get a few items for a birthday gift for my friend and as always, I am able to find a great gift at a great price. The clothes are reasonably priced so you can actually change your wardrobe seasonally. It's a great store for stocking up on the basics which start at $4.95-$12.95. How can you beat that! Some of my FAVE pieces in my closet are from H&M. I actually never feel GUILTY for spending money here. This store has the following departments: Women, Men, Kids, Accessories (Shoes/Bags/Jewelry) and Basics. The layout is roomy and the shelves and displays are always stocked and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I always seek out my fave H&M employees when I come in. I love it that they know me too. Tells you how much I am there! I was here on a Friday night to indulge the shopaholic in me, look for a cute Summer dress for something I had going on that weekend, and just to relax after a very hectic week at work. I accomplished all that here after many unsuccessful ventures at other stores. H&M has a great selection of clothes at decent prices. I found 4-5 dresses that I really liked, that fit well, and complimented my figure. Woohoo. I was a happy camper. The sales staff is extremely accommodating here. I accidentally grabbed the wrong size for one of the dresses I was trying on and I was able to flag someone down outside of my dressing room to find the right size. He even brought back some others that I might like, you know, just in case. Haha. Smart man. I ended up getting 6 dresses for $20. Not bad! I think I'm all set for the rest of the Summer season. The first time I went to a H&M it was in Pasadena and it was enough for me to stay away until now. I was at SCP and as I walked past the H&M I peered inside and noticed that things were neatly laid out and the store didn't look like some discount joint -- like it did in Pasadena. I decided to give it one more chance. I was pleasantly surprised that this time, I actually enjoyed browsing and found some items to try on. Prices are quite reasonable, but then again, it's not that much different than say Ann Taylor Loft during a sale. Sizes tend to run on the smaller side. The largest size they had was large but most of the items on display were XS, S, or M. Not that many larges available. There are 2 H&Ms at SCP -- the one over where the home stores are is not as nice as the one located on the side where Rainforest Cafe is. read more

I normally live this store has great deals and great options for clothing. However, today I was attended by 2 people. First person told me they closed in 15 minutes at 6:50, which is random as no store closes at 7:05 but understandable they want to leave on time. Then when I check out I take 2 of the same item (which I should've documented) I took a size S and a size XL. The size S was 9.99 and the size XL was 14.99. I went up to some boy wearing a green hoodie who first of all should not be in customer service with the lack of energy displayed and secondly said he couldn't do anything AT ALL but couldn't only give me 10% off if I was a new sign up for the emails for the store, both basically pointless. I don't understand how 1. The lack of customer service skills and 2. How one item being the same item but in a different size could be valued 5$ more. I park at Bloomingdale's parking lot, and I enter the mall to go straight to H&M. I always seem to find great deals here. I really don't anticipate buying anything, but the sales just catch my eye and I'm drawn toward all the red tags.. The other day I walked out with 2 dresses and some accessories that were buy one get one free! I love H&M for having business casual attire for really affordable prices. I used to stay away from their clothes because I've had pants that ripped at the seams. But I feel that you have to just find the ones with the better quality. H&M usually carries both men and women, and also kids clothing. But I think this location is for the most part women only, including a section for active-wear. read more

This H&M is smaller than the ones i've been to. There's supposedly a men's section here, but I didn't really see it. No, i'm not wearing men's clothes. My coworker wanted me to get her one of the men's bracelets they have here for her daughter. The clothes they have here, are pretty much the same clothes they have at all the other H&M stores. Totally agree with the other reviewers about the appalling "customer service" (although there was one associate folding clothes who was actually nice and outgoing). The lady in the dressing room this afternoon needs to either quit her job (cuz you're such a downer, man) or work on her attitude. I greeted her before she acknowledged me-- she didn't say "hi" or anything, but led me toward a dressing room. After she set me up with a dressing room, I said "thank you." In response, she avoided eye contact while sighing, "yeah...", and walking away. Ok, weird. I tried on 6 garments but only wanted 2 of them. So when I exited the dressing room, the lady from before wordlessly just extended her hands as I gave her the unwanted clothes. That was probably the most depressing dressing room experience ever, and I've even shopped at a mall in a Communist country before lol The only reason this store gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the wide selection of clothing and accessories. read more

I had a return from an online purchase that was 3 days over the 30 day return policy, which took 20 days to actually have shipped to me, that they would not return. Manager stated they were closing in 30 mins and discouraged me attempting to exchange and said just come back another day. I ended up going to a different H&M and had zero issues returning the items. It is fairly small compared to other h&ms. There is a lot of stuff but at times felt clostrophobic. At times I would be looking at something on the rack and then a couple of people would want to pass me so I had to move out of the way and stop looking at the item. The waiting room line was not busy at all and was helped immediately. The cash register had a line of course that took a good 5 minutes. The phone reception is horrible. I could not get a signal but when I stepped closer to the door I had one bar. read more

I love coming here because of how clean and well organized the store is! Everything is easy to find and such a great selection! It's fairly peaceful if you shop early afternoon on a weekday. If you need help looking for something, you may encounter, Jeremiah. He was so so helpful in helping me find what I needed and pointed me the right direction with different options for clothes! I wish I was able to say the same thing about the girl in dressing room, Lisbeth (I think that is her name). She had a really bad attitude with me and also towards other customers. I found myself exchanging looks with a stranger with how bad it was and just seemed like she didn't want to be there. I asked her for help in finding something in a smaller size in a shirt I wanted and was acting like I was bothering her. She claimed they "didn't have the size" and when I went back to the floor I saw the same shirt in the size I wanted. I didn't want to go back to the dressing room and just chalked it up to her having a bad day. I even tried asking her about her day and how she was but she ignored me and rolled her eyes and was very dismissive. Thankfully she wasn't there by the time I was done trying on all my clothes and another gentleman took her place and was very sweet with me. Checkout was seamless and I was even helped out by Jeremiah at the end!
