I couldn't walk around the theme park having plastic from my sneakers poke into my foot, so we ended up stopping by Shoe City, several miles from the theme park within Anaheim. Shoe City has a wide variety of sneakers, boots, and much more. There are a lot of brands offered too such as Nike, Puma, and Skechers! We arrived around Shoe City at 2:30 PM on a Tuesday. We were the only customers inside the store at the time. One of the team members helped out by assisting me on selecting new comfort style sneakers for walking. After checking out, my daughter and I were able to spin the wheel at Shoe City for a prize. We didn't win anything, but it was a fun experience!

Curl Surf though felt like you were on a small island with warm weather! It was a nice change of pace. As I walked through the store, I saw a wide variety of surf inspired clothing and accessories. There was hoodies to sandals, sunglasses and casual every day items. I ended up buying a few shirts for friends and family back in Vegas for the holidays! The customer service was great. I did have a team member ask if I needed any help with purchases or if I had any questions to reach out! I'm glad that I visited Curl Surf while shopping in Downtown Disney. It was my first time in a Curl Surf store before. It was great to stop in and look for souvenirs and last minute gifts!

They say it's modeled after fancy olden days Los Angeles department stores which is kind of cool. Even more cool, Elias was Walt Disney's Dad's name so the shop is named after his father. I'd call Elias & Co as a general souvenir gift shop at Disneyland where you'll find a ton of clothes and other fairly standard Disney items. Tons of Mickey ears, bags, even some watches & jewerly. The huge store is divided into four sections: Men's, Women's, Children's and Jewelry. It's been helpful for me in particular when I needed to buy socks and ended up getting some cute Disney footsie covers in a bind. If you have an Annual Pass, they do offer the discount here which is nice. If nothing else, you can escape the heat or weather for a moment walking down Buena Vista Street thru the store from one end to the other and check out what's for sale instead of trotting down the trove with the masses. Because this is at the front of the park, it can get incredibly busy though! Only for that reason is it probably my least favorite shop at California Adventure. They have a helpful and friendly staff working though, as always is the Disney way!

The elegant light fixtures and vintage inspired décor makes you feel completely immersed into a shopping destination from the 1920s! While I was visiting Disneyland for the Halloween Half Marathon, I ended up stopping by this store to take a look at all of the seasonal merchandise! This store does accept Magic Key Holder discounts, Disney Vacation Club discounts, and Disney Visa Cardmember perks! I'm surprised the location was even open to customers under those conditions. What made the experience worse was that management seemed unconcerned about the problem. There was no apparent urgency to address the odor or acknowledgment of how unpleasant it was for customers. A Nike store should not be operating with an odor so severe that customers feel sick being inside. Management should have taken the situation seriously and addressed it immediately. Very disappointing experience.

Fine. I asked if I could use the gift card online and basically got, "I don't know. No guarantees." That pretty much summed up the customer service here. Nobody really helped when I came in, and anytime I asked a question, the answer seemed to be "I don't know." It wasn't even particularly busy. Even one of the doors was locked, which just added to the whole weird experience. The selection wasn't great for what I was looking for, and the prices weren't anything special either. I've been to the MainPlace location and found a much better selection and better deals there. The employees here just didn't seem knowledgeable or interested in helping. I'd skip this location and go to MainPlace instead.
