Honestly, my favorite location but not because of their selection PARKING: good luck. This shopping center is constantly busy. Drive with caution here. My boyfriend has almost been hit by other cars here. I've been to plenty of VANS locations and I gotta say, this one does it for me on terms of customer service. I came in the other day to buy something and needed some help deciding what to go with. Funny enough, the two workers came across the counter and modeled the clothes to help give me a visual I have never had people help me like that. Shoutout to homegirl with the braids and brother with the curly hair -- y'all are awesome fr. I've been helped by other people like Asif for instance. That guy's genuinely great at his job. He knows the store's stock while representing what VANS looks and feels like. Solid employee I met the store manager not too long ago either and he's helpful and friendly! I'm glad to see a place have consistently great customer service. Everyone here genuinely cares about what they do and that's honestly really great. As for the selection here? Unfortunately this store's really tiny. Do I still have a great time looking at everything? Absolutely. It has the essentials so it's still worthwhile for those looking to check it out. I never really wore Vans-- my feet were flat and wide, and honestly, I don't think my parents wanted to spring for canvas shoes since my brothers and I were pretty tough on shoes in general. Nowadays, my size 14s end up in Sauconys or New Balance or hiking boots or Rainbows when I'm not rocking dress shoes or bare feet, so my trip to this Vans store was strictly for my little girl. Two facts that matter for this review: (1) the kid got a pair of shoes that were too small; and, (2) most Vans stores in SoCal are closed due to COVID. So this store out past the 91 somewhere was our only option to exchange... a bit of a hike from the SGV. Drove down in the rain on the 57, and found out spot in the social distance line outside. Once we got in, the quaint, smallish store and her staff were great. I casually gazed at all the cool shoes I never wore as a kid... always wanted to wear that "hole" in a pair of Vans, haha. Turns out my little girl is now into women's sizes, so $20 difference in price. But the kid is happy, the shoe fits, and she'll wear it with a smile. read more

This is a great little Vans store! The selection is really good, the salespeople are always friendly here. We stopped by here the other day to find my son some shoes. They didn't have his shoes, but they did have a great selection of clothing. They had nice flannel shirts on sale, and I was able to find a shirt for my husband that he really likes at a good price. I also found a jacket for my son here as well. I hope to go back soon to stock up on some more of those flannel shirts for my husband. This Vans store may be small in comparison to other stores but it does not lack in selection. In addition to that, and more importantly, the staff is amazing, one guy in particular (Gregg ) (English guy)was more than helpful in picking out some shoes, I don't really shop at vans, but after this interaction, I'm definitely coming back. Even thou Greg had other customers he still took the time to make sure the shoes I picked out fit just right! Worst vans store I've been into. I called to check if they had a shoe, they did not; but confirmed they could order it. I asked if they would 100% be able to order and over night. The store agreed to this as well. I expressed I did not want to come in and be unable to purchase the shoe. I went in, waited an unordinary amount of time to make my order, was skipped because I had an order to place and retail customers were a priority, to only be told there out of stock. The cashier could only tell me "sorry". Very poor communication and customer service. I would suggest going to any store but this one. Great Van's store! I had previously purchased a pair of Van's at the store in Whittier, but they didn't have the size I was looking for. I brought the ones I purchased into this store to exchange. I first called to make sure they had the size I needed and the girl over the phone was super helpful. She was very sweet and didn't make me feel like I was bothering her to check on sizes. When I got to the store they had the shoes put away and made an easy exchange. Of course I shopped around and purchased a couple more pairs for myself and my little one. The girl who I believed I was speaking with on the phone was the one helping me in store. I tried on a couple pairs and she grabbed all the shoes with a happy smile. My go to vans store. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful. Not like others where u have to somehow flag someone down to get ur size, they tend to you. Yes it is pretty small but they have the necessitates. Parking isn't too bad. Love the low cut no shoe socks but for 3 pairs it's about $12..pretty pricey if u ask me but I am a fan! read more

While at the Vans store at the Brea Mall we wanted two shoes and for each one they didn't have the size. They called this location in Fullerton and they did have the two shoes in the sizes we wanted. This store put them hold and rushed down. Once we walked in they were super friendly and nice! Let them know we had shoes on hold and they quickly went into the back to grab them. Since these are a gift we had questions on the return policy. Their policy is with a receipt you can return or exchange within 60 days. As long as the shoes are not worn. We thought this was the same with a gift receipt but it turns out you can only exchange no refund. We went with a receipt just in case the shoes were an issue and the money could be given back. What was great was how Jude explained the policy and made sure we had all the facts. He even told us to use debit if paying with card to make sure they can give cash back. He was very helpful. This spot may be small but they have shoe options and some clothing. read more

Customer service is horrible. We walk in and the girl behind the counter is eating, looks at us but no greeting. There are 2 people working, both hanging out behind the counter, ask us from across the store if we need help. Every time we need a size, we have to walk to the counter to ask. The guy checks on the size, gets the shoe and drops it down returning to the register to chat with his co-worker. I worked in retail in my 20's and this is not the way to treat paying customers. Bye. I came in here to exchange a pair of shoes that didn't fit my 4 year old daughter. I was one day late but the ladies working were amazing. They said as long as i make an even or higher exchange, it's no problem. They were so helpful with finding the right size for my little one. They engaged with her and made us both feel so welcome. Do not do same day pick up!! I ordered early morning and got an "order received email". It was 4:30 p.m. and I still didn't get an email that my order was ready so I decided to just drive out there anyway. I called them when I was parked outside and asked if they did curbside pick up even though when I ordered it said they did. It also said it was in stock. The guy who answered said yes. I explained to him what happened. I can see from the outside there were associates standing around with not many customers. I ask if he can just have someone bring my order out and he says typically it takes a week to process such orders and that sometimes even when it said in stock it wasn't. He said he would talk to his manager and see if he can expedite it. He just gets my first name and says bye and hangs up. I get out of my car, go inside, and ask the first associate to get me the shoes I want. I stand in line and the manager, a blond female, asks if I was the one waiting for the online order. I say yes and show her the shoes and she says did someone give you this?? She then grabs the shoe box from me. I said I already paid for this so can I jus take it. She says "someone" (100% it was her) over shorted you. Whatever that means. Coincidentally right after I made the phone call I received an email saying it was out of stock and the order was cancelled. I know for a fact if I came in and went straight to the counter rather than ask for the shoes they would've said it was out of stock. She had no choice but to give it back to me so that I can purchase it. I do have to say the other young gentlemen at the register and the one who grabbed my shoes had great customer service. Amazing customer service as always! Had bought a pair of shoes a couple weeks ago, after realizing a defect, the staff was very accommodating, an understatement actually. Kent and Ulisha (so sorry I think I'm butchering her name), swapped out my old shoes for the exact same pair - no questions asked. Even though my defective shoes are clearly unsellable, they took care of it. And as I was about to leave they said that if these shoes gave me any issues to come back and they will find another solution for me! Unbelievable customer service at this Vans store - will never shop anywhere else when I need a new pair. PS. The best shoe shopping experience We have ever had. The 2 sales people gave excellence service, and made suggestions for the type of shoe to fit my sons wide foot. Amber had great suggestions, and also told us the sales rack for shirts was buy one get one half off. We came away with a great fitting pair of tennis shoes, socks, 2 sale Van shirts. We gladly donated to the autistic charity Vans is affiliated with, and received a tote bag. Will definitely be returning for future purchases! Let me begin by saying that the employees here will always receive my greatest praise. I called VANS in Fullerton because I had a student who was not coming to school because he literally had not one pair of shoes at home. He's already had it tough enough and with school being the one consistent thing he has going for him, it was important for him to be here daily. I saw him wearing red, torn up, sandals to school. They didn't fit his feet. He let me know that his shoes had ripped running to practice with his brother. I told him to show up the next morning - that I'd have a new pair of shoes for him. My father worked for VANS for 15 years. It was the first company I thought to call as they were the only shoe I wore as a kid. Immediately they helped with a discount and once I arrived at the store they handed me the giant shoe as a token for my student whose story impacted the manager that was helping me out. My student laced up his shoes on this rainy day and put on a new pair of socks thanks to the teamwork and FAMILY behind him. read more

Customer service was embarrassing. I walk in and "Vanessa" is chatting with her co-worker and eating at the register while he was ringing up a customer. They continue to chat amongst themselves while my wife and I are waiting for assistance. I look in their direction and they don't even bother looking where we are. It's nearly 10 minutes before she acknowledges us with, "Oh, do you need something?" The guy she's working with comes over to get our sizes, and is clearly annoyed. He brings out our shoes, drops them behind us on the bench and returns to his chat session behind the counter. Vans store employees are typically helpful and friendly, but these two did the least to provide decent customer service. We decided not to make our purchase at this store. read more

WOW! I must say that this location is by far the greatest. I went in here just to look around but I somehow ended up purchasing a couple of items. I was welcomed in by the friendly staff.
