Anthony was the associate who initially helped me, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. He properly sized me for a pair of Red Wing work boots and took the time to explain the different options available based on the type of work I do. He made thoughtful recommendations and ultimately helped me find a pair that I absolutely love. It was clear that he genuinely wanted to make sure I left with the right boots, not just make a sale. Elijah also assisted me during my visit and was equally kind, professional, and helpful. Both of them made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. What made this experience stand out even more was that I had previously visited the Anaheim location and unfortunately received little to no customer service. Long story short, Elijah is just awesome! My 1907 fits perfectly now with the memory foam footbeds! Heel slip was too much in stock form but with the memory foam, it fits nicely now. For new buyer, please watch for heel slip and go down in half size if it happened. read more

went in sat aug 22 . been buying safety shoes from here last 4 years. have never had any problems here at all . customer service has always been great. not all locations have been positive . have bought redwings far and wide from san fernando valley wilmington long beach anaheim orange have had good and bad last 40 years say over 35 pairs of boots over this time . mostly good. this store is small and doesnt always have everything on hand but they can order and call u when ready. i keep coming back here because the sales people are good and patient friendly also. nobody wants to show up and be talked to like we are idiots or dont know what we are talking about . i have a pma work voucher every year and come to brea store will continue to purchace here unless i get bad service . so far brea is the best . long beach a close second. oh the leather belts here are the best boggt my 2nd one . cheers read more

I've never owned a pair of boots in my life, but after starting to do heavily duty DYI projects that are dangerous without boots--I got it a thorn that pierced my shoe and cut my foot open. I decided to stop by Red Wings, they're a little on the pricey side for me at first, but after using them for now eight months, they are the more comfortable than my regular shoes. Was on my way to try Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread for the first time and passed by Red Wing. I have been looking into boots the past few months and trying to figure out what to purchase and then save enough to splurge on a pair of well-made American boots. I figured, why not, and decided to walk into the Red Wing store to check out the shoes in-person. Seth immediately welcomed me in and provided excellent service. The store has a machine that measures feet size (shoe size) and arch. It is pretty cool when they shoe the images of your foot on the screen. This way, they can determine your perfect fit, also without having to take a bunch of shoes out for you to try. We were able to pinpoint what the perfect fit for me would be. There were only 2 women boots due to customer base, and none in my size that I was considering. Seth mentioned that the website has a wider selection, of course. Turns out Seth is the store manager and I would highly recommend this Red Wing location to anyone who is looking to purchase, re-sole, or etc. There were other customers who came in after me, and the other store associate was also very attentive to them as well. He measured my husbands feet, asked about his job to make sure he got boots that was right for his job and fit. Didn't end up buying anything as I'm still shopping around, but I was really impressed by the staff that helped me (a bearded gentleman, didn't catch his name). He was happy to help me try boots on and figure out appropriate sizing -- I appreciate that he didn't try to pressure me into settling for ill-fitting boots as I've heard other stores often do. I highly recommend coming here to try these boots before buying, as the sizing is very different from what you might expect. I'll definitely be back when I'm ready to purchase some Red Wings. Needed some new work boots. I've had Danners in the past in which I liked but they weren't extremely comfortable. After 6 months building a pool build, they were destroyed (sole was gone and the leather/stitching was falling apart. Picked up a similar Red Wing pair from this store and it's very apparent that the quality of the boot is far superior. If you need Safety Shoes, Boots and Dress Safety Shoes, come to this location. John, Seth and the team will provide excellent service. Make sure you scanned the feet everytime you buy new shoes. It's complimentary anyway. Then take your time to find the right one you like. They'll search the right size and order it for you. Free delivery to home or pick up at store. Prefer pick up at store so we can adjust or raise any concern on the spot. Don't forget the complimentary cleaning shoes service. Keep up the good work and customer service. One small concern when they're busy. You have to wait for your turn, including phone call. You kept calling and nobody pick up the phone. Excellent staff that understands why you have walked into a redwings store. Super clean. Well organized. No mouth breathers, purple hair, or Busch's league Rico Suave types like the scabs demanding face diapers at the Montclair store I will never spend another dollar at. The boots are great. I blow through a couple pairs a year, not because they aren't extremely durable, but because I like to stay sharp and comfortable for the 60 hours a week I'm in boots. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now, but I kept forgetting to do it. I originally visited this store a few months ago, but I recently went again with a friend of mine that I told about this store and it was just as pleasant as my last visit. This Red Wing Shoes in Brea is what Red Wing Shoes should be everywhere. I have been to the Norwalk, Culver City, Covina, Whittier, and Anaheim stores. I've been using Red Wing work boots for over 18 years. I get a voucher for a new pair of boots each year from my employer. Which is why I have been to so many of their different stores depending on what area I happen to be working in on the day I go get my boots. Out of all the stores, Brea is the absolute king of friendly and professional service. Keep in mind, when you go to a Red Wing store you are "usually" catered to way more than you ever would be at any other shoe store, but Brea just has the most friendliest and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I normally go to the Norwalk store since they are the closest to me and most of the employees from my work also go there just because it happens to be the closest one to our office as well. But Norwalk is barely a step above going to a Footlocker in a busy mall. Really had a bad experience there the last time I went there and will never be going back. I took one of my fellow coworkers on a weekend to the Brea store, and he usually goes to the Norwalk store as well. He was completely happy here at Brea since he also had a bad experience at the Norwalk store. I've already mentioned the Brea store to more of my crew mates and I'm sure word will spread and more of them will start heading there with their vouchers each year! From now on, until I retire 20 years from now, the Brea store will be the only Red Wing store I shop at. I usually pay for more expensive boots than what my employer covers and I pay the difference out of pocket. Brea helped my friend find the boots he wanted and ordered them to get shipped to the store so it can be picked up later. A huge difference from the Norwalk store, who refused to look up different boots we were interested in and only wanted to give us what the voucher covered and what they currently had in stock. Oh and the free cleaning is SUPER awesome! Not sure if this is just a Brea thing or if it's a Red Wing thing and the other stores just never mentioned it, but huge thumbs up to Brea for letting me know! I dropped off my boots when my coworker ordered his new pair. They look great after being cleaned! read more

I was gifted a pair of Red Wings through my Refrigeration company, and they didn't seem to fit just right. I went to my closest local Red Wing branch in, Brea, and Seth and Elijah understood my concerns. They fitted me professionally, and provided an exchange pair for me that feel great without any hassle. I was also happy to hear that I can bring my 12 year old 875s in for a resole and have them back in less than 2 weeks. I saw that a new Red Wing store opened in Brea and decided to give it a try. I've been buying a new pair each year from a different store for about 7 years now. I went in and ordered my new pair, paid and left, no real difference from the other store. When they came in and I picked them up, the guy helping me asked if I wanted to leave my old ones for him to clean and condition. I said no (because I just do it myself) and he said "feel free to bring them in whenever you want us to do it for you." I appreciate the offer and good customer service. Came in today for some new work boots since I cheaped out on my last pair. Right off the bat, I was greeted the second I step into the store, as the store rep was finishing up with the customer prior to me. Really wish I remembered his name so I can give him the credit/shout out he deserves. Im just terrible with names. Anyways, he spoke about the different material and what will be more beneficial to me in my line of work. He even used the foot pressure reader and recommended soles for support since he saw that most of my weight was centered at my heels. So he had me sold on that, also recommended some new "work" socks. He hyped these bad boys up so much that I have never been more excited to try on a pair of socks! There is another location closer to me but I would rather drive an extra 10 mins to come shop here. If the store manager reads this, give this man a raise! And man, if you're the store manager, keep doing what you're doing and give yourself a raise!! read more
