Employees were friendly, greeting us when we walked in the store. Brand name shoes are pricier here than other shoe stores in the Brea Mall.

I come here pretty often because my son likes the variety of shoes that they provide. Most of the employees are pretty welcoming, but I was always enlightened to see the old general manager in the store since she helped us out no issue. I asked one of the workers about her and they told me that she unfortunately moved stores... even asked who her replacement was and was upset to hear that it was the new lady that wasn't welcoming at all. You could tell she wasn't enthusiastic when we walked in and basically avoided helping us get a shoe, letting some of the other workers do the work. Being BIPOC, it's always disheartening being avoided in service areas since you can't tell if it's discrimination-based or just genuine dislike for the job lol. Overall, I will most likely be traveling to a different store to avoid feeling uncomfortable and hope that things change at this one! I went to buy three pairs of shoes on Christmas Eve. I told the shoe salesman Rigo that I wanted three pairs when I get up to the register there's only two back there. I end up waiting 20 minutes at the register while I'm there I spoke to Jessica the manager explained my frustration and the level of service. Jessica Jessica did nothing to assist me nor did she offer to look for the shoes finally 20 minutes later standing at the register. Rigo comes back to me and tells me they can only find the one right shoe on display nor can they find the box. The store has the worst customer service. read more

Cynthia was very rude. She did not like that. I asked her for several shoe sizes in a size 13 that they did not have after about five sizes that they did not have. I asked her for another one in which she immediately gave me an attitude when I gave her a simple solution, she still ignored my solution, grabbed another pair of shoes and walked off in the middle of me talking to her when I asked to speak to a manager, assistant manager, instead helping or apologizing for the situation he continue to make jokes with the female Cynthia. its no wonder the poor rating this store has. asked for a size on a shoe, you didnt have but mentioned another store has it. i asked you to call and verify to make sure before i make the drive. the 1st thing you did was take the next customer. is that how it works? the upon waiting, another employee makes the call. then comes back to say "no one is answering" and...... thats it. so you dont try and call back? you dont try to resolve the matter with the potential customer and look at another store? mind boggled how customer service works these days. read more

For full disclosure, my opinionated review is solely on letting everyone up in here know NOT to expect the shoe SELECTION Foot Locker is usually known for. If I would've known this I would've called ahead to do a shoe ssheck shoe check aha got me doing tongue twisters. Nevertheless when i did find some nike air force 1's i decided on; you guessed it; my size was out of stock. Oh God lol. Basically this location runs hella small, so I understand. i ended up asking for the Foot Locker with the biggest selection. Which are ONTARIO MILLS, HOLLYWOOD, CERRITOS, & LAKEWOOD! (Hollywood is the flagship store) So there you have it. You'll thank me when i save you time money and a trip. Specially now days that coveted shoes are well over $150. Staff is great! If I could give this 0 stars I would! Me and my wife had the WORST experience ever a few days ago all thanks to a worker by the name of Natalie. First off, we walk in and we were not even greeted or acknowledged, I'm not kidding when I say everyone was head down on their phones looking like they didn't wanna be there. I flag an employee down which had to be the worst employee, Natalie, she glared at me and my wife and gave us the worst attitude when all I was asking was a size in a shoe for myself. She said "we don't have it" with attitude and walked away and had the AUDACITY to go on her phone and call someone WHILE me and other customers were in the store. I walked right out after that like nope, not dealing with this bs today. The fact that she has a job still blows my mind. What kind of idiot would hire someone like this to work in a store where u have to give customer service and talk to people on the regular? I can't imagine how many other people probably would share the same story as me that have had to deal with this girl. If it were up to me she would've BEEN fired on the spot. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My cousin ordered shoes online while in store since they did not have the same sale online than in store. He is also a Vet, and because they priced matched the online price at their own website they could not give he military discount either. So he did it online for same day pick up, and we killed time for over two hours. When he checked the status, it said ready to be shipped. We know they had his shoe in stock and in his size because he had them on himself. Since it said that it is ready to be shipped, we figured it would be ready for pick up. Come to find out after contacting customer service, they have not even checked the email!!!! POOR, HORRIBLE, RIDE, and DISRESPECTFUL employees: Blake, Gaby, And Juan. They need to be retrained or get out of retail. Horrible horrible service. I'm very surprised that Footlocker hasn't addressed the issue that they obviously have with customer service. I came in hoping to return a pair of shoes that I had order online. I asked one of the guys about it and he was willing to help. He said it would work out if I had the invoice on my email. One of the other guys came out from the back and rudely told me that he needed a hard copy of my invoice or else he's not going to take the return. He was extremely rude and short. He basically told me that if I didn't have it I would have to come back another time and there was nothing l else I could do. He didn't offer me any solutions and did not explain any policy to me. I called footlocker later and they gave me several options for returns. He was both unclear and unfriendly. Then he looked to his colleague and said, "LOL" and said nothing else as we walked away. I'm very uncomfortable with how the situation was handled. Normally, I don't mind coming back another day or shipping my return, but being rude and unprofessional is rather upsetting. read more

After a quick stop in the Apple Store, I headed over to the Foot Locker. I have this gift card that's been collecting dust in my wallet for way too long. I hate the mall, but since I had to be there, I figured I'd burn the gift card. The tennis shoes I choose are always in the $100+ bracket, but I had a $50 gift card so I was prepared to take the hit, and at least walk out with a fifty dollar discount. I've been eyeing the Reebok Reezig shoes, but I'm waiting for them to come out with blue soles, so I was meandering through the Jordans... Decided to try on some slippers because I put my last pair to rest. Picked a style that I liked, and happened to look over and a kid shopping was wearing the exact ones I had picked out. His were worn, and I could tell that I wouldn't have been pleased with the white leather after a few months of wear. Found a similar black pair and asked Andre (sales rep) to try them on in a 12 1/2 or 13. He let me know they didn't come in half sizes, and that he would bring the 12 and the 13. When he returned, they only had the 12. Tried it on, too small. Cant have toes hanging over the front. I asked if they make a 13, and Andre said that he would check for me. When he returned, he said they didn't have the 13 in stock, but he did have a 13 in a slipper that was not on display, and they were on sale! I wasn't looking for slippers in the first place, but after Andre showed me what was hidden in the back, Jordan slippers, and on sale to boot, how could I refuse. Now I'm a happy shopper with $35 bucks left on a gift card, and I'll definitely be back to Foot Locker to see Andre to find out what other hidden deals they have in store. read more

Was not pleased with the level of customer service I received yesterday. I asked for a certain Nike Air Max and they were out of stick, which is not the store's fault. They then offered to ship it to me from the warehouse. They asked for my information and to be sure they got it right, I gave them a business card. Immediately after processing the transaction the clerk handed me my receipt. The first thing I noticed is my address was off. I asked them to call customer service, then to call my office phone and leave a voicemail for me, to know they handled the problem. Got into the office this morning, no voicemail. I looked to my receipt again, and this time i noticed my name was spelled incorrectly! I gave the guy a business card to copy all the information and he still got it wrong! I called customer service myself and canceled the order, since at this point I lost all faith in that store to correct the problem themselves. I can deal with the shoe not being in stock, and was grateful that they offered to ship it to me. But the simple mistakes of copying down the incorrect information and not following through with a request by the customer to alleviate their concerns is unacceptable when paying that much for a product. I will probably continue to shop at Foot Locker, just not this location. read more

I usually to not come here because I don't feel they have a good selection, small store, and the guys that work here are not very helpful. My son received a gift card so I came here to buy his shoes. The girl helping us was GABRIELA. even though it was half hour before closing and really busy, she was so sweet and patient. She brought out several shoes for my son and kept checking up on us. Employees are nice and all, but when I asked for a 6.5 of the Nike Flyknit Racers the box said 6.5 but the actual shoe was size 5. I was told the that shoe size was a tight fit so I accepted it. Didn't think to check the shoe until like 2 weeks after I bought it and already wore it. I know I'm partly to blame for not checking, but I would think they'd also check to make sure the right size is in the right box. read more

I was searching for a particular shoe online when I seen the shoe style and size was available on at this location. I call ahead since it is an hour drive from my location. The guy who answered me assured me the shoe was available and there was no need to put aside since they had plenty. I repeated what I searching for just to confirm and he replied with a yes. I take the the drive right away and to my surprise I was told the shoe wasn't available and that they were sorry. I didn't take no as an answer considering I drove a little more than an hour and called before heading out. I ask to speak to the Manager and the guy helping me tells me he's the Manager. He says there is nothing he could do and that i never called. I shoe him my phone to show him the website showing they should have it and my call history. He looks at me like I'm making it up even after that. I ask him to please search the back. He came and went a few times, saw I wasn't leaving and after 40 minutes waiting....he finally "finds" the shoes I was there for. Horrible service. read more

Wow... never received such horrible service in my life by the manager Maria. I ordered shoes online that morning, paid for them, they were in the back of the store and I came to pick them up at 6pm and the manager Maria, who had a horrible attitude, began to help someone else and ignored us. Then we asked her to follow through with helping us, she refused to get our shoes, have us a horrible attitude and proceeded to tell us we weren't normal customers, the only customers she was here to help were the customers in the store, not us. She encouraged her employees to smirk and laugh us and basically refused to give us our shoes and made us wait, even though the shoes were in the back of the store the entire time! Horrible Footlocker, shame on you for employing such people. I will be contacting the DM and anyone who will listens. Anyone who refuses to get someone's shoes out of spite is a bad apple.
