One of the better Daiso locations! The store is fairly small, but they have a decent selection and all of the new items. The prices are always great and the employees are very nice. They don't always have what I need and I would sometimes have to go to another location, but everything is quite organized. It seems very stocked and we always love coming back! I like this location due to its the closest to where I live, but I found that they don't have as many Disney or Mickey stuffs as other locations in Tustin and Irvine. Staff are always nice here and parkings are plenty. To some selfish customers, pls be mindful and wear your masks because I saw a couple with a big dog entering without any mask on not even any somewhat of face covering and they walked around with no shame. My daughter was at the register ahead of me while I looked at the cold beverage section, I noticed that the girl was putting things in a paper bag ($.20) and asked if they had reusable plastic bags as I previously got them there and she gets smart with me and says, "we only use paper bags" No b!t*h, you don't always use paper bags cause I have a Daiso plastic bag at home. But I decided to be an adult since my child was there. Then as I'm walking away, I hear her start talking crap about me complaining about the paper bag. The ghetto woman in me almost reacted and was going to put a beat down on her, but I restrained myself because my child was with me. I love the Daiso in San Gabriel Valley area because it's stocked with so many products and just packed with various goods. But this location was very empty and the selection was quite mediocre. I wanted to purchase more of the empty make up bottles because day worked really great. Unfortunately this location was selling the same bottle individually and not as a pack of two. The size of the bottle was slightly bigger but I couldn't find the same one that I need it. I also wanted to buy couple more of the side dishes but their ceramic dish selection was very limited. The plastic basket that I like to use in my pantry was not available either. I'm sure that all locations don't carry the same merchandise but this Daiso was really disappointing and sad. If you are looking for better selection, go to another location. But if you are not familiar with Daiso or aren't looking for anything specific, this location will be fine. I'm an avid Daiso shopper and used to shopping at locations where they carry more selections. That's where my 2 stars come in. The overall look and feel of the store and their service is pretty much the same you would get elsewhere. Parking is easy! read more

Is it that obvious that I'm obsessed with this place? I think on my two day trip to Santa Ana, I went to three different location. How I wish they had this in Vegas! Almost everything for $1.50, some up to $3 depending on the item. From raincoats, to nail polish, to bathroom tools, to kitchen wear, snacks to storages, etc etc etc! I've gotten it all! Some of the most useful things I've gotten here: egg boiling timer, packaged utensils I can bring around with me (useful when you prep), travel bottles (for soaps, shampoo, etc), desk organizers, make-up organizers, and so many more! If there were a way to give a 0 stars to the store I would. The manager who works here (long black hair and fake eyelashes) has absolutely no care in the world whatsoever of her customers. She laughed at my friend as he complained to her about their service and then promptly told him that was enough he could leave the store if he didn't she would be calling the police because she did not want to hear any more complaint. Really? Because you provided bad service and got a complaint you'll call the police? That is a representation of a very, very entitled individual who should not be managing a store. Her attitude is reflective in her employees as one gentleman closed the door on our face as we were standing on the sidewalk. Her employees that she has there, sadly act as entitled individuals. So, if you want to experience probably the worst service that you will ever experience frequent this store. I love Daiso and I always spend at least $30+ on stuff I don't need. This store is like any other Daiso location. Each aisle is organized by sections. There's a section for pet supplies, school supplies, kitchen utensils, gardening etc. They have their snacks up front by the register. Everything is $1. Other items are more expensive, but they do have price stickers on them. There is a $10 minimum to pay with your card. Only downside about this location is that it's really tiny and didn't have the selection of items I'm used to seeing at other Daiso spots. It also has a weird plastic smell. I walked about with only spending $12, but I was still happy with the visit. read more

I picked up one of those plastic display cases they sell, however I didn't notice that it was cracked until after I paid and left the store. I went back and asked if I could exchange it for one that wasn't broken but no... NO REDUNDS OR EXCHANGES! ALL SALES FINAL! Are they serious?! I know you wanna stop scam artists but come on! Horrible customer service. This location has the lowest ratings of all the local stores, only competing with Westminster for its customer satisfaction. The checkout experience needs work and one would expect the Clerk to at least tell the customer what the bag policy is so we have a choice. I often shop at Daiso to purchase supplies for work. I had been to multiple locations looking for a specific item. Each store was out of the product. While at this Orange location on Katella, I asked an employee (his name was Anthony) if he could check in the back for what I needed. He returned and replied that he could check online. He reviewed the product with me and told me he could order it and let me know when it arrived to purchase it. A few days later, I received a text and a phone message from him to pick up my order. Over the years I have been a customer, I have never had an employee be so kind, patient, and willing to help me. I didn't even know they could request product for a customer. I am an avid Daiso customer. I frequent the Irvine location and was ecstatic when I found out a Daiso location opened up closer to home. The store offers household products, gifts, beauty products, etc. Everything you could ever need or didn't even know existed. The best part is that most of the products are $1.50! Why am I giving this location a 1 star? I went to the store today looking for a basket. As I was perusing around in the back of the store, I noticed THREE giant cockroaches crawling around. I was shocked and turned off by the idea of even purchasing anything from there. As I walked out, I notified the girl at the register, "You guys need to check the back isle, I just saw three cockroaches crawling around back there." Her response, "Oh, okay I'll let somebody know. It's because they crawl in from outside." Well DUH they do!! I sure hope the manager/owner of this location gets some pest control in order. read more

If you like the Dollar Store, you'll LOVE Daiso! This is the first Daiso I've ever been to. Heaven! Wow- most everything is $1.50. According to other yelpers, this one is on the smaller side. Since I haven't been to any other, I can't comment. Maybe it was better that it was small. God's gift to my sanity. My daughter and I spent a few hours browsing each aisle, carefully filling our cart to overflowing. While many of the things are made in China. Some are made in Japan. Bingo! So much better than the regular "Dollar Store" or Dollar Tree or 99 cent store, or whatever. This stuff is awesome! You never knew that you needed a back scratcher, or a cute glass tea cup, or a three pack of soft wipes for the bathroom. Yipee! I went for a 3 tiered plastic organizing container, which they didn't have ;(. However, I found one in my Mother-in-law's house that she gladly gave me for free. Can't beat that! Brought to the US by Japan, we are now blessed with every day $1.50 bargains and it feels so good! Just a warning as with all dollar stores, know what you're buying. They so sell items that would normally cost less than a dollar for $1.50, I mean they gotta make a profit somehow right? So shop around first. A bit smaller than other locations, so it could be tight to maneuver around in, especially when it crowded (like today's Grand Opening!) However, they have most of the great items you would find at other locations. I say "most" because the tableware seemed a bit limited. Also, I went in for the Fruits Jelly Drink, but they only had one flavor. Not a big deal considering it still tastes great. It's nice that all registers are credit card equipped, so there's no line separation like at the irvine location. I love this store but very much dislike the staff! We walked in the store at 8:30 pm... they were giving an announcement every 5 min reminding us the store was gonna close at 9pm and to bring our stuff up to pay oh and the dimmed the lights at 8:40pm. I've never had such an unpleasant shopping experience. I get the store was closing and the kids running the front counter wanted to go home and wanted us out but it was so awkward. Always love coming to a Daiso. This one is smaller than most in the area but its very clean. I always come to just "browse" and I always walk out buying more than I should. You always seem to find something you "need" (washi tape, containers, glassware or plates) hahaha!!! I did walk out with a can of coffee Hawaii Know Coffee and it was actually really good. I have no problems with this Daiso. Its a decent size and easy to find things. They have nifty cheap things you can use that you never thought you could use. Even more better at an affordable price!! The workers are really nice here also. Keep in mind that there are no refunds! And a minimum card purchase requirement. I think its 5 or 10 dollars. I'm from out of state and everytime I come to California I always have to make a stop by Daiso. Since I was around the area I found this location and I made a stop by to check it out. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the very kind employee that was at the cash register. I saw how everything was so clean, organized and stocked up with items compared to other Daiso stores I've been too. I went in around noon and there wasn't a lot of people in the store so it was nice enough to walk through the aisle looking at the cute stuff. This is a fairly new Daiso store near Chapman University. As others have noted, it isn't the largest Daiso around but still has a good selection of household items and a small selection of snacks. Lots of parking for the business mix here. Didn't have to fight for stall on a Saturday afternoon. read more

Daiso is great! I love the strawberry and heart themed items, and who doesn't love a bunny washcloth or a bear cup. I love to pick up items for bento boxes, and little dishes, and chopstick rests, and fans with their pretty designs.
