5 minutes a person takes average 30 minutes to get a refund for a self checkout error

Takes too long this lady is rude also it takes 30 minutes to get through the line you could fix the time it takes..

Superbowl set up with soda cartons. Super cool!

It's so handy to have a Walmart nearby. We purchase lots of items from here for school events and groceries for our home. It's a big store with a garden section but no auto services. They use to have a McDonalds inside but have taken that out. Great deals for everyday items and you can shop online and pick up in store or have items shipped. My children's book series is sold online here along with other places. Come in for your personal or grocery needs. Just note that the self check out is 15 item maximum (which I never knew) and the other checkout lines can get really crowded. May the shopping force be with you.

    MY BROKEN ANKEL OF MISFORTUNE
    Jake L.

Where does one start.. So my tale began, I was looking for a water dispenser online, found one, a primo water dispenser at this location. I even called ahead and was told they had more than 4 in stock. So when I arrived there was only one on the shelf. The box seemed okay, no damage, so I decided to purchase said item. It even came with a free water jug to kick start my hydration station when I got home, for I had a thirst that could not be matched .. but little did I know the horrors that would be in store for me once I embarked on this trail of misfortune. Once I got home, I had an about an hour before my shift so I decided to set up this glorious H2O bad boy to quench my thirsty desires before I clocked in. FIVE BIG BOOMS this item WAS NOT! It was broken ! Pieces of plastic falling like the sweat upon my brow, the front top panel completely bent like a spine with scoliosis.. the dread I felt was unimaginable, as I had no time to return this item before my shift. Not to fear, for it was not the end of this very very hot & dry world, I would plan to get the watery deed done of returning this broken item the next morning... this is where my real trouble began. The next day as I was carrying this large item in its orginal box down my stairs, on the very last step, as I mustered all the strength of my fore fathers, I slipped, and with a sound like thunder crashing down upon a frozen pond, I rolled my ankle! I screamed bloody murder as my soul elevated to another dimension! This was only a few hours before my next shift mind you... all because some employee thought throwing around a large box in their storage area like a sack of unripe potatoes and then hurling this item on to the shelf for fun just to be happened upon by an unsuspecting victim to fall prey to yet another broken item from the infamous "wallfallapart"' catalog .. so here I lay in my excruciating pain, is a picture of my broken ankle .. I will never shop here again nor will I even walk straight again, I'm getting Intouch with corporate immediately..

Look in front of Walmart, of Orange right next to the entry!!!!! Potty Room condos, what are they thinking? Drove up and left,

Oh my it's me again, making. Quilts for gifts went to fabric area, no one there to help, no prices on fabrics miss labels on yarn, couldn't fine a someone to help, they have entrusting people working, I hate the self serve check outs, and cashiers asking what are you making just ring us out, the next costumer on your back when your trying to pay, so I left everything there didn't pay went somewhere where they price items, fabric looked a mess

Really good sized with wide aisles. Lots of options - pharmacy, optical, garden, and more. Competitive pricing. Great variety. Plenty of parking.

More items behind the same item I wanted to purchase

You can find most things under $10. I recently bought a bag of 6 navel oranges (super sweet too!) for just $3.99. They don't sell by pounds which helps a lot. I find the staff to be exactly what the internet says about them- easy to converse with, super helpful, and probably making their way through college (at least the ones that have helped me so far are). There was one time where I timidly asked a question about a food they had out of stock and the cashier just yelled out what I asked for and they had someone busting a mission to find it! I didn't even need it that badly but that has been a core Joe memory for me. Shout out to that staffer whose name escapes me. Since I don't have a huge family to feed, Trader Joe's has been my go-to for just the right amount of food that I can finish without letting it go bad. Shout out to the Mango Cream Bars, Bulgogi Fried Rice, and Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs. If there's anything consistent in my life, it's those three.

They just did another reshuffling of the aisles, which always confuses me for a while, but they added back full-size racks around the pharmacy. The last remodel added shorter racks for the medication, and they were backlit. It made the pharmacy feel special, like a store within a store. They instead cleared out the front of those same aisles for holiday seasonal displays. I think it's harder to find the medication I'm looking for now. You do need to app if you want certain deals, but check that receipt because they don't always work. I've had to call someone over twice in the past few months because the signage didn't match the price given. I feel bad for people who may not have or want a smartphone. The people who work here are more efficient than friendly. You'll often feel like you're interrupting a conversation between two employees unless you use self-checkout. Some are really nice. You'll often feel like you're interrupting a conversation between two employees unless you use self-checkout. I also hate that you have to answer a couple of questions every time you swipe/tap to pay. They always want a donation for something, and/or ask, "Would you recommend this location to someone else?" I'd like to opt out of those. The selection around the store is pretty good, and they do have good sales. There are a couple of things I need to buy at another grocery store, but they can't have everything. I do like the gas discount at Chevron stations. Finally, the bathrooms are gas-station-level. Always dirty, graffiti in places, chipped tiles, and/or sinks. Paper towels are usually on the floor. It's not a pleasant experience. Now I'm not a fan of having a code to get into the bathroom, but if they remodeled these, and they were nice, I wouldn't mind. ,

My group of friends and I were purchasing snacks and waiting respectfully in line at Register 14. Our group consisted of one African American individual and three Southeast Asian individuals. When it was our turn to check out, the cashier told us the store was closed and refused to ring up our items. She directed us to customer service instead. When we went to customer service, we were informed that the store was actually still open until 10:00 PM. What made the situation even more upsetting was that after refusing to serve us, the cashier immediately rang up the customer behind us. If the store was truly closed, why were other customers still being checked out? The entire interaction felt targeted, disrespectful, and humiliating. While I cannot know the cashier's intentions, being denied service while another customer was served moments later left my friends and me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Rather than argue, I left all of my items behind and walked out. I have shopped at 99 Ranch for years and never expected to experience something like this. I hope management reviews the surveillance footage and register activity from Register 14 around 9:00 PM on June 6, 2026, and addresses why customers were falsely told the store was closed while others continued to receive service. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

HOWEVER, it's such an unpleasant experience I have to mentally prepare myself for issues every time I go there. Ever since the new year, when California switched over to new plastic bags for produce, they seem to have trouble stocking them. Do you know how annoying it is to buy a bunch of cilantro and have nothing to put it in? I complained to the checker about it today and they claims it's a warehouse issue but no other grocery store I go to, including the Anaheim Hills Ralphs, has this problem. It's a poor management problem. How difficult is it to anticipate your bag usage and order ahead? Doesn't seem that hard. I wanted to get garlic today and they had a small selection of a couple dozen bulbs that were either moldy or growing shoots so now I have to go to Vons for it. The self checkout system has some weird algorithm where they flag you for a further inspection all the time. Last time I asked it was because I had an extra unused shopping bag in my cart. No other store flags me like this. I get they have to deal with light fingered VP high school kids flooding the store after school but you could tweak your system. They have a person literally watch you check out three feet away. The aisles are tight and it's such a pain to navigate. I don't know why they haven't expanded this store years before now. Overall, Ralph's is a good grocery chain but this store is awful. Corporate should step in and look over management's shoulder to bring it up to the standards of the rest of their stores.
