It's actually very similar to Ross, Marshall's, and TJ Maxx. So, either I found somewhere else to shop that I like, or I'm becoming more and more metro. The good: I came here and got 3 pieces of wall art for my bathroom and guest bedroom. We also got a pizza oven tray and new cookie sheets.They had discounted floor mirrors that I was tempted by as well. We randomly also got elderberry lozenges with honey. We got egg shaped chalk for my kids too. I like their cards, wrapping paper, and paper plates/party decor selection. I also think they have very nice quality and priced towels. The bad: I am sure they had it but I couldn't find twin duvet covers. I probably didn't look hard enough. The interesting: Their Easter and St. Patrick's Day decoration really had me wondering if I should celebrate and decorate more for those holidays. read more

I am so lucky that this is my neighborhood branch because the service is always on point. The people ringing you up are always cheery and make an attempt to converse with you to make the experience pleasant. When I stopped by during Halloween, the cashier shared her love of Disney Villains and showed me how she dressed up as Cruela. This last visit, a different cashier paid me a compliment on my new tattoo. This branch is way more organized than the Yorba Linda location and had a lot more hidden gems despite it being a smaller location. Their red tag clearance area had lots of good options to pick from and the items were not beat up or broken either. I love this HomeGoods! read more

Value wise is typical HomeGoods store and for me home goods is reasonably priced! CRAMMED isles and they trick you into signing up for a credit card WITHOUT TELLING YOU ITS A CREDIT CARD. WoULd YoU Like To SiGn Up AnD SavE 16 PeRcENt? Is your business really that down bad that you have to lie and say it's a rewards system when in reality it's a credit card? And then when you go back to pay it off the bitches at the counter don't even fucking help you and treat you like an inconvenience. When it comes to decorating your home, kitchen and bathroom essentials, holiday decorations, gift wrapping, this is the store. I love Homegoods and this is one nice location. I feel it's a smaller location, but it's clean, in a great location, and associates were very helpful. I enjoy going when they first open to beat the crowds. Although I always go in for an item or 2, I usually leave with a few extra things. Prices are great and unique styles such me in. This store tricked me into singing up for a credit card. They said I would be saving 60 percent on my purchase when in reality it only knocked off 5 dollars. It was almost impossible to find out how to pay it off. I tired to ask the employees if they could help me figure out how to pay it off only to be treated like an inconvenience like they just wanted me to leave. My credit score was almost ruined over a $150 piece of furniture (ridiculous). When I had more than enough money to just pay for it like a normal person. read more

Let's start with a positive. Great merchandise from around the world such as India, Great Britain, NOT China. Cashiers were not exactly bubbly but not rude. Encountered the manager once to thank him for carrying merchandise from around the world and he seemed very nice. I always find something fun and beautiful. My only real complaint is that there is Way too much overstock merchandise in the aisles, I can't get a basket through the store. I had to pass on shopping for new sheets and a couple of other items because I couldn't get all the aisles. It would be helpful if they could possibly stock at night and then put the overstock away in the back room. This makes me feel like they don't really care very much about the comfort of the customer. Had a terrible experience and felt the racism in this location. The manager, Tom Hurds a bald man with glasses and tattoos came down the line, thanked the customers in front of us for waiting, completely ignored us, and then thanked the people right next to us. It was very unprofessional and pretty noticeable why. At the register, his employee Bethany was noticeably more friendly and welcoming to others, but her energy changed when it was our turn to pay. read more

I've been coming to the store for years never had I had an issue until today on Christmas Eve., I had the most unpleasant service by Miriam. She was so rude from the beginning. When she asked if I was paying with the gift card, she pulled the gift card from my hand and I asked are you in a bad mood or what because it was beyond rude I asked to speak to her manager. Her manager didn't say anything, in addition, she tried to be sarcastic in front of the manager and the manager did not stop her. read more

I walk in for one thing for my apartment then come out with items totaling $100+. How is that even possible?! Well, I mean everything & I mean EVERYTHING in HomeGoods is just so aesthetically pleasing & pretty, that's why it's so dangerous to walk in there by yourself & every girl would know exactly what I mean! They have different items to meet every style, for every single room in a house. Not to mention for the quality and sophisticated look, the prices are very reasonable. For this location specifically, I encountered an employee, Nikki, who was very sweet & helpful. I was having trouble getting a mirror in the very back of a section & without hesitancy, she dropped what she was doing to carry all these heavy mirrors to get to the one I wanted. Once she got it, she brought it to the front to put it on hold so I can continue shopping & put all the mirrors back, still with a smile on her face. Once I got to the counter, even when hers wasn't the register I ended up in, she made sure to approach me with a thumbs up to make sure I was being helped well. That's one employee, alone. The cashier also called a male employee to help carry the mirror to my car then he made sure it was positioned well inside that it wouldn't break. I have to put in a bad review bc I overheard the manager be loud and condescending toward their staff. It explains why they have bad customer service. I was leaning looking at items when the supervisor almost ran me down with a cart without acknowledging me. I had to dash out of his way as he's running in yelling at his employees regarding stocking. Then when I checked out, the cashier seemed so annoyed and upset that I asked if they had a children's section. Nice small location at The Village. I was looking for something specific and I knew I had seen a version of it at a HomeGoods not too long ago. I ended up roaming the aisles and finding cute fake houseplants that I can mix in with the real ones I already have. I also found what I was looking for! The aisles are a bit messy so that's why I knocked it down a star and there was a bit of a line at the register. There is a good amount of parking at The Village, and store leads right to the mall section as well. read more

As a person who loves to enjoy her days off at home goods with their usual hospitable environment. This location is disappointing, I see a lot of high school kids working hard. But what disappointed me was the managers. Specifically a woman with glasses, blue eyes and light brown hair in a ponytail. I think her name was Wendy. She was extremely harsh on her younger employees and led a little girl practically tearing up on the spot. This is a hostile work environment and place to shop. I hope that "Wendy" can improve as a manager and be less disruptive to her customers and friendly employees. I wish the great finds at this location would be reflective of the customer service. There are some great workers here but overall it's a fail. The cashiers rarely say hi and start talking to each other during transactions. The worst is that I was rung up by a cashier who didn't say hello, and started talking to an old white bald guy, probables her manager. They were like just having a I'll on conversation while I just stood there.At the VERY least I expect a hello. Also this old guy was like harassing one of the employees who was walking me towards the storage section. Like, she's helping me, why do you need to talk to her about your break schedule. So far, so good! This place just opened and has a great selection, especially of Christmas décor. Mixture of a little furniture, towels, dishes (even high end brand names!), lamps, and ever good sized selection of pet accessories! Felt more organized than your typical Ross, although this place does not have clothes. You can access the store from both the outside and inside of the mall. However, the entrance towards the mall seemed less busy, but also harder to find someone to check out. The front is definitely where people are entering/exiting. Looking forward to shopping here in the future when I'm looking for something specific. read more

Fun finds, though this location is pretty small. Not very organized, and I noticed several broken items, but if you dig you can find some great deals! My husband found a bullet style blender that had been on his radar for awhile, and it was about $40 less than anywhere else. But, there was only one in the whole store. So, if you see something you like, snatch it up because you probably won't see it again! They sell everything from snacks and protein powder to home décor and journals. I like browsing here. The staff is friendly and the store is fairly new. It's not overly organized, but it's not too bad overall. They sell a lot of stuff here, not just home related things. They have an extensive foods section and kids stuff. The price is pretty good; some stuff is heavily discounted. You really have to browse around, but you can get good things here. The quality here is much better than some other similar stores. Their business seems to be pretty good; lots of customers in here most of the time. read more

If you want to spruce up any room in your home with some new decor then Homegoods has it! They sell home decor and items for every room at a reasonable price. There is a small area of furniture as well which has items like a fabric chair or side table. When I walk in here I know I'll be a bit so I make sure I have time to explore. You can find full bathroom sets, add ons, kitchen decor, plates, cooking utensils, home decor, frames, wall art, pillows, lamps, and the list goes on. The thing is that once you see and like you must buy it. They do not get the same inventory and if you come back to buy later it's a good chance it's gone. Their pricing is good as it is but make sure to check the clearance area too for other marked down deals. They have registers on both ends so it keeps customers checking out quickly! read more

This review is exclusively for my recent rug purchase. I was in a serious want for a rug in our dining room and had been looking around. Most places offered average quality rugs at affordable prices; but designs were dull and fabrics gave a rough feel. Some places carried absolutely beautiful rugs and charged $,$$$ and more. I came across this rug when shopping for some decors. This Turkish made rug looked transitional and felt very soft. The price was right for my budget. Two employees took it down and brought it to the cashier. After I paid, they helped load the rug in my car. It looks really nice in my dining room. I took 1 star off because the cashier took too long to figure out how to honor my 10% discount coupon. read more

Not going to lie, I'm a big fan of this department store. Not only can you find awesome goodies for your dog, but you can pick up some decent kitchen and home decor at a discount as well. When they announced they were coming to Orange, I was pretty excited. Though we have one pretty close in Brea, it just meant I have to drive less to pick up last minute gifts or any other holiday goodies. I love you that you can get some pretty stellar deals at a fraction of the price. I was quite surprised at how big the store was and how many aisles of merchandise they offered. Because it's attached from the mall, there are multiple entry points and different places to check-out when you're ready to pay. Even on the grand opening day when the place was absolute madness, the lines went pretty quick even though they were really long. It's a good sign they can handle it, especially with the holidays right around the corner. As always parking is a nightmare in this shopping center, but it's not the store's fault. But I love that the whole center is getting a redevelop and adding some pretty cool stores like HomeGoods to update it's tenants in the building. I'll be back! read more

We bout the majority of our accent features for our new home. The fringe pillows, bougie bathroom set, Vera wang bed accessories. But I am writing my review about a cashier sales associate who absolutely blew my mind. I believe her name was Shell. I might be wrong but she assisted us last night on 1/23/2019. Absolutely friendly and personable. I'm in the hospitality industry and this lady was top notch. It was the the upbeat personality, subtly comments, easy transition of conversation. The ONLY reason I'm writing this is because of a totally rude and way out there sales associate MARIO who rang me up. Horrible customer service by the manager Esmeal. When asked about a product for children that needed to be better sanded his repose was, "it if comes to us like that, we're not responsible and you can buy it as is or we can put it back on the shelf". It was a wooden piece that is designed to put kids stuffed animals in it and has rope so you can easily pull the ones towards to the bottom put. It wasn't sanded properly and was slightly uneven when placed on the ground. Not safe for children. I felt very valued as a customer. :( read more

I had to beg them to stop asking, and they asked again! Items mislabeled, wrong pricing, at checkout they acted like it was my fault.
