By far my favorite coffee spot! Idk how they do it but every drink tastes like heaven. That Maui milk is addicting. The staff are young good looking people but my gosh are always sooo friendly, patient, and helpful with ordering. My go to is the shaken brown sugar cinnamon oat milk with a a free shot of espresso for large, non fat milk, cinnamon powder on top, chocolate drizzle, 1/4 Maui, half sweet. I've heard the Maui latte and summer latte and the cold brews are just as tasty. Anytime i get a chance I stop by here! read more

Tried the drive-thru here for the first time, but they had a longer line than usual, so they had someone taking orders from the line in the parking lot. I think having cones or something to clearly mark where the line starts would help because it was a little confusing. It was also hard to spot the worker since they were wearing regular clothes. Since it was my first time, I didn't know the menu, and unfortunately the worker didn't have a menu with them either. I ended up just asking what latte was the most popular and went with that. I was a little disappointed because I would've liked to actually see the options and choose something that sounded good to me. I got the chorizo & egg sandwich, which was good, but pretty small for the price. For my drink, I got the Maui Vanilla Iced Latte (half sweet). The coffee was pretty basic--good, but definitely didn't wow me. It honestly tasted more like sweetened milk than coffee, and I didn't get much of a coffee flavor at all. Also, even though I ordered it half sweet, it was still VERY sweet, so definitely keep that in mind if you don't like overly sweet drinks! Was interested to try their Maui milk coffees as it seemed unique! Went with the Horchata latte, it had really good horchata flavor with a nice foam. I really wanted to like Makenna Koffee, but unfortunately the coffee was a major miss for me. I ordered a coffee today and it genuinely tasted like sweetened milk with absolutely no coffee flavor whatsoever. I'm not exaggerating when I say I could barely taste any coffee. While I was there, I noticed that pretty much every drink coming out of the bar looked extremely white, so it definitely didn't seem like my drink was just a one-off mistake. The employees were super nice and helpful, so I have nothing negative to say about the staff. Unfortunately, friendly service can only go so far when the actual coffee doesn't taste like coffee. And honestly, it was really expensive for what essentially tasted like sweetened milk. If I'm paying coffee-shop prices, I expect to actually taste the coffee. I'm all for sweet, creamy coffee drinks, but there still needs to be an actual coffee flavor underneath it. This tasted more like drinking sweet milk than drinking a coffee drink. Wow, first time here and I'm so glad I came across this place while scrolling through Yelp! New favorite café unlocked. They have SO many drink options, and I tried their ISLANDER tea-- it was sooo delicious! I loved that it wasn't overly tea like or left a strong tea aftertaste. You can really taste the strawberry purée with a hint of pineapple, which made it so refreshing and flavorful. I already can't wait to come back and try all their other drinks! The inside is super clean and they also have a drive-thru, which is a huge plus. Reminded of of Dutch Bros, they had a bunch of flavored coffee and a huge variety of different redbull "cocktails" to give you energy drinks. We were early to lunch and everyone wanted to kill some time with a coffee. It was super packed and busy at 11am on a Saturday. Hawaiian coffee sounded good and my wife really wanted to try their Kona coffee so we came. They started in 2019 and have expanded to several locations since then. This style coffee is not our personal choice, its coffee for people that don't like coffee and if you want an easy to drink caffeine dose this is a godo place to come. Makenna's Koffee literally tastes like sweet milk. Today was my second time trying their coffee, and I still don't know what I'm paying for. I ordered The Legend with oat milk in a medium, and it was $8 which is insane. Even in nicer areas where I'd expect coffee to be more expensive, my drinks are rarely more than $7.50. Given the location, I'd actually expect it to be cheaper than other coffee shops in the area. The inside is super cute, and the employees are all really friendly, so it's unfortunate that the coffee itself tastes like sweetened milk with barely any coffee flavor. If you like coffee that isn't strong, doesn't have much of a coffee taste and is essentially just overpriced sweet milk, this is the place for you. Moreover, the background pop-music playlist gave an upbeat atmosphere which makes drinking more enjoyable. I ordered one of their popular hot drinks called Hawaiian Honey Hot Coffee, a caramel, coconut latte with honey drizzle. And it was brewed perfectly that my coffee neuronal receptors craved for more. Prices were fair given the quality of their drinks. Staff were competent and assiduous. Interior decor was aesthetically pleasing as well as the outdoor seats. I came through the drive-thru this morning after a really tough gym session and was feeling pretty weak, so I decided to grab a protein shake. There ended up being an issue with my drink, so I came back around and went inside. They immediately recognized me, and when I explained what happened, the young lady helping me was incredibly apologetic and made everything right without hesitation. At a time when great customer service can feel harder and harder to find, these girls truly set a different standard. I was genuinely impressed with how they handled everything and, more importantly, how they made me feel like I mattered as a customer. I can't say enough good things about this place. I got the NORTH SHORE iced latte with a 3rd shot (they offer the 3rd shot for free - which is nice)! The drink was still yummy end enjoyable just way too sweet for my liking. I also ordered an ALMOND CROISSANT which was delicious, flaky, and a good sized serving. NO INDOOR BATHROOMS. But there is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating at this location as well as a SMALL DRIVE THRU. They do have a LOYALTY program here which is nice to earn points towards eventually redeeming a free drink. I really love latte with macadamia milk and although this is my first time trying at this place, I tried their signature, which is Maui latte and Maui milk is their signature milk even though I'm not sure if it's using macadamia milk or not but let's pretend it is. I think the sweetness is OK. It could be a little less sweet. Maybe next time I would ask for a less sweet like 75% but other than that it's perfect. I can't wait to come back to try their other drinks because they have a pretty big menu for a coffee shop. Hopefully, they will expand their food menus because I love Hawaiian pastries too.
