    Welcome to Makenna Koffee. #oc

Of course, SIZE MATTERS. Nobody wants a small cup of coffee in the morning. For as long as I can remember, I have been a coffee shop kind of person and bequeathed as a coffee connoisseur by Yelp not that it matters really. Lol. :D Without further ado, let's begin this fantastic review. Makenna Koffee (est 2019) at Orange, offering beach and Hawaiian-themed coffee shops. It is located in a shopping plaza on N. Tustin Street. They offer a breadth of coffee (hot/cold) items, teas, specialty energy drinks, blended chillers, smoothies and sodas. Similarly, they sell some pastries and merch. I arrived early morning was perfunctorily greeted by a young female staff. It was my first time visit to this coffee shop, and its interior is visually stimulating with a relaxing Hawaiian vibe. Moreover, the background pop-music playlist gave an upbeat atmosphere which makes drinking more enjoyable. I ordered one of their popular hot drinks called Hawaiian Honey Hot Coffee, a caramel, coconut latte with honey drizzle. And it was brewed perfectly that my coffee neuronal receptors craved for more. Prices were fair given the quality of their drinks. Staff were competent and assiduous. Interior decor was aesthetically pleasing as well as the outdoor seats. Overall, I really enjoyed my morning Hawaiian coffee at MK. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend them. Ciao!

Love the variety of the menu items and flavors offered. I greatly appreciate the online ordering option. I ordered a cherry almond latte with coconut milk and it was a delicious blend of flavors. I look forward to trying other items. The inside of the store reminds me of hawa'ii as it has tropical decor and it's cozy. I wouldn't mind coming back to study here!

Their menu has a huge selection of drinks, so there's something for everyone. If you're having a hard time deciding, the staff is always friendly, patient, and happy to help you find something you'll enjoy. This place is consistently busy, so the drive-thru and online ordering options are incredibly convenient. If you have time to stay, there's also a nice outdoor patio where you can relax and enjoy your drink. My friend and I tried the Maui Latte, and we both really enjoyed it. It was creamy, smooth, and definitely on the sweeter side, making it a great choice if you like sweeter coffee drinks. My boyfriend enjoyed his Starburst Red Bull as well with the red bull taste not being too strong. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. With the extensive menu, friendly service, and great coffee, it's well worth a visit!

Been wanting to try McKenna Koffee for some time now, and im so happy today was the day! Quick trip through the drive thru. Very friendly staff. Took order quickly and efficiency. Music was playing outside, art work and fun quotes on the menu/building made you feel kinda like you were on a little vacation. Coffee was so flavorful! We got the Maui Latte with cold foam and Cabo San Lucas latte both iced. You can taste the quality. We will be back, would love to dine in next time for the full experience and try some treats!

First timer! Easy parking and drive thru. Really cute coffee shop with cozy seating inside and also covered patio seating. The ladies working were really sweet and took great care of us. Our fav was the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cold Brew - absolutely DELICIOUS and very strong. We had a great experience here!

Really great coffee, conveniently with a drive-thru! I love how many options you have on the menu. This is definitely catering to coffee-lovers with a sweeter palette. The coffee isn't as bitter and is definitely smoother, but masked heavily by the syrups and flavor add-ins. Not sure if you'd like all the options if you don't like sweet, weaker coffee though. The inside is super clean and works are friendly! Definitely gonna return if I want a sweet coffee/something convenient. Good amount of seating and plugs available inside.

I went to visit my parents and on my way home I decided to visit Makenna Koffee. They are located in a busy little strip mall off Tustin Street. The parking lot was busy, i went in the middle of the afternoon. Since it was my first time trying their drinks, I opted to go inside and look at their menu. I was greeted right away and the employee was very helpful, I asked her opinion on two different drinks. I ended up getting the Pistachio Cold Brew. My drink was good, and I was happy with the flavor. Ambiance 4/5 Service 5/5 Drink 4.5/5

Have been wanted to try their coffee since they opened a few months ago, but the drive thru line was always too long, until today! Their menu is expansive with cold brew, espresso, coffee, smoothies and more. Ordered The Legend iced -- it was cold, flavorful, with lots of caramel drizzle. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my selection -- will definitely be back to try one of the other menu items.

If you like your coffee drinks sweet and not taste like coffee, this is the spot for you. Similar to Dutch Bros or Better Buzz. Not my cup of coffee since I prefer to taste the coffee or espresso in my drink. Not a Hawaiian owned coffee shop, but Hawaiian themed which means Hawaiian themed drink names and beachy vibes? I never did find out if they used Hawaiian/Kona coffee or what exactly was their "Maui Milk". Service was friendly and wait time was longer than expected, but they were busy both inside and the drive thru. They have a parking lot and you might want to consider parking a little further in the lot or you might get stuck if the drive thru line gets long, which it does!

VERY SWEET COFFEE - very similar style to Dutch Bros. If I came back, I'd definitely do 1/2 sweet and I'm typically someone who already likes their coffee sweet and I already had an extra espresso shot added to my drink! I got the NORTH SHORE iced latte with a 3rd shot (they offer the 3rd shot for free - which is nice)! The drink was still yummy end enjoyable just way too sweet for my liking. I also ordered an ALMOND CROISSANT which was delicious, flaky, and a good sized serving. NO INDOOR BATHROOMS. But there is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating at this location as well as a SMALL DRIVE THRU. They do have a LOYALTY program here which is nice to earn points towards eventually redeeming a free drink. Overall a great experience but I'd still rate 4 out of 5 stars because there's no restroom and because of the drink quality. Something to also note: this is a high volume location on the weekends.

Love the vibe and the many choices!! Lots of workers there to help make ordering a seamless experience. My first time here and I was recommended the first 5 lattes on the supreme section of the menu. I ordered the Cabo San Lucas which is surprisingly the perfect balance of sweet and cinnamon coffee. Also whatever heavy cream they used on top, is seriously amazing!!

Makenna Koffee *April 11th, 2026 *9am- Saturday *4 Stars Environment: *Aesthetic *Drive Thru and Dine In *Smaller than Appears Online Food/Drink: *Nutty Irishman (Almond Milk) *The Ben (1/2 Sweet) *Maui Latte (1/ Sweet) I had been wanting to try Makenna Koffee for a while, so I was excited to finally stop by. The shop has a cute ocean and beach theme throughout, which gives it a fun atmosphere. The space was smaller than it looked online, and it seemed like most people preferred using the drive-thru over ordering inside. Even with several baristas working, the wait was a little longer than expected and took close to 20 minutes for our drinks. Overall, it was a good first visit although the drinks were slightly sweeter than I would have liked.

Irish cream cold brew & maui latte
    Cindy T.

Got the Maui latte and Irish cream cold brew and they were both delicious! Definitely on the sweeter side, like if you wanted a dessert coffee drink. The maui latte was sweet, slightly nutty, and the perfect amount of creaminess. The cream on the Irish cream cold brew was divine! It tastes like vanilla marshmallow fluff, and the coffee had a nice fruitiness to it!

The good Top notch ingredients = less guilty desserts…read moreGood selection of keto goods Good service The not so good Price and size No chairs or tables or coffee Overall a great place for desserts. Their ingredients are top notch, like using protein and fiber-containing almond flour; also a healthier fat like ghee instead of butter (cheap bakeries including store bought use industrialized seed oils). As a sweetener they use allulose - a natural (but pricey) sweetener that is found in fruits but tastes like regular sugar, unlike the semi bitter stevia. I'm glad they don't use erythritol - a popular sweetener which has been linked to blood clots. They also use xylitol which, when isolated, prevents tooth decay - but is dangerous to dogs. For humans, results in far less carbs than regular inexpensive bleached white flour baked goods which when added with table sugar gives a massive sugar spike. Not good for people with insulin resistance (which includes many older adults). It's a small space but it smelled great when I was in there as they were baking. It would've been great had they sold good coffee and a place to sit but that would probably raise their prices even more. Because of the expensive ingredients, don't expect a lot of their goodness for the price. The carrot cake slice was probably half of the size in another regular bakery, but it was delicious. Note that because of the crushed almond, the texture is somewhat more grainy than a white flour based carrot cake. Same with the $9 Tres Lechces cake slice. But in both cases, the taste was good and I felt better eating them because the calorie count, as well as carb load was much, much less. Actually, what I was looking for was a cinnamon roll but they had sold out. There are a lot of different types of muffins, cookies and cakes. So if you're a sweet tooth, you should give them a try. (a side note - next door is a good Chinese restaurant - Royal Wok, with nicely prices lunch specials).

I got so many pastries. There were no misses. My favorite of the bunch was the blueberry cake. The cake wasn't too sweet, was moist, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. Overall, a great bakery and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Fullerton area.

The variety is definitely one of the strongest points here. We tried the Matcha Cruffin, Onion Cream Bread, and Three Cheese Bagel. The Onion Cream Bread was the best of the three. The cream was light and balanced well with the bread, but the onion flavor was pretty much lost. I could barely taste it. The Matcha Cruffin was disappointing. There was matcha powder on top, but absolutely no matcha filling inside. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or simply missed the filling in ours, but for something sold as a matcha cruffin, I expected an actual matcha presence beyond the topping. The Three Cheese Bagel, made with cheddar, cream cheese, and mozzarella, had good flavor but the texture was much too hard. We were dining in and had it warmed up, yet the bread was still tough and the cheese inside had already hardened. Service was fine, but nothing stood out. Overall, great selection and a nice space, but the pastries we tried were inconsistent.
