He was not trained to confirm the details about the amount of my return. Unfortunately I was only given back the value of 60 % the cost of the item online and 50% of the cost in store. The month before this I had placed an online order that never arrived so part of my purchase was using a credit, but not the kind of credit that requires a minimum purchase. So I asked if I could exchange the item instead and he called a manager who was not interested in even listening and she called some 800 number and handed the phone to me. If the employee had confirmed the amount of the return I would have been able to do an exchange, but his failure to do that cost me money. And the manager was unwilling to cancel the return so I left without my pencil sharpener and lost the credit that they gave me for failing to deliver my order. This is not a lot of money, but i expent cashiers to be competent and I expect managers to train them. The store manager was awful, did not care about the customer and took no responsibility for running the store.

I started using VPG in 2007 for my color Christmas cards, business cards and road show laminated business mid-sized posters. I was very happy with the price, turnaround time and quality... all good. I have been with Laura's VPG ever since. Fast Forward to 2022: The second Thursday of December, I emailed a DRAFT pdf of a 3 photo Christmas card that I had worked up with printed notes but was formatted to 8.5"x11" at 3 pm on Thursday afternoon. By secondary emails, also included the 3 high res photos used on the card just in case she was unable to use my draft pdf. By 11 am Friday morning, I was emailed a 5"x7" PROOF of my revised Christmas card because my 8.5"x11" draft submission was not exactly to scale. The proof was exactly the way that I wanted it which I immediately approved. By 2 pm Friday afternoon, I was notified that my order was ready for pick up. That kind of 1 day service at the going rate that produced a perfect result can not be exceeded. Thank you Laura and VPG Staff for your coordinated efforts to get my job done and out the door, on price, on time and exactly the way the I wanted it. Thanks again! read more

I believe you are treated according to the amount of money the owner believes you have. I use to work in the area and have done business here before. The owner Laura always has her feet pointed at the first exit when talking to me about my order, while other's with a higher income have her full attention. I recently tried another order and was treated as less than. although, I still placed the order the staff would not return calls when I asked and I was left in limbo some emails were sent but I had to continuosly call . and still no call recieved. By the third day I called and cancelled, Not one call to apologize. I guess they don't care they lost a customer. My business is just starting to take off, I found a company who was happy do business with me. Good business means establishing good business relationships, and no where is that more prevalent that with starting a new business. Along with the initial hurdle of getting the paper work of going into business, there are also the little details that need to be handled as well. I have worked with a lot of printers in the past and it is always a drudge. Maybe 50% of the time they get it right despite giving them every instruction conceivable. I dread ordering prints since it literally is a coin toss if the print will come out right. That said, Vertical Printing is the first printer to ever get my prints right every time. No mistakes, no misprints, perfection! Not only are they 100% accurate but they are speedy and let you know as soon as your order is ready. I purchased my first business cards from Vertical Printing nearly two years ago and loved them so much that when my business expanded, I went to Laura again. A couple of months ago I needed cards in a rush and went with a popular - or at least frequently advertised - online service because I thought it would be easy to just design my own. When the cards arrived, they were smaller than a standard card, the paper was literally transparent, and the "high gloss" finish was only on one side. I couldn't believe the difference! I went straight back to Laura who custom designed my cards based on my specifications and got them to me in just a matter of days. I will never buy business cards from anyone else again. I've always been impressed with seeing VPG's cards from other people, and finally I had an opportunity to order cards myself. I worked with Laura. After I uploaded my graphic, she called me to tell me it would probably get cut off if I didn't allow for extra space. She was able to tell me the correct dimensions to use in pixels, even though they measure their work in inches. She offered to make the changes for me, but my design was a bit complicated and I was in a hurry so I made the changes myself.
