It's December 18 and I have eight documents that each need to be notarized twice. The line is super long and they efficiently and gladly helped me. The entire time I was there they were busy, busy busy, but they did a great job helping everyone. I came here after another UPS that was completely empty with no line with three staff members wouldn't notarize the same documents. All to say I will be coming back to this UPS for every single one of my closings despite the fact that it's a little further from my house. read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!!! I dropped off a 50" Samsung Frame TV at UPS Store #3085, and the associate assured me it was scanned in properly. Unfortunately, the package never reached the retailer. When I followed up, the manager reviewed surveillance footage and confirmed that I did in fact drop off the TV -- yet the store has refused to take responsibility or assist me further. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, including speaking with the manager and requesting to speak with the owner, I have received no support. The manager, Jon Scott, was polite but made it clear that he had no authority to resolve the matter, while the owner has refused to engage at all. As a result, I am now out $900 for a TV that I entrusted to this store. I fulfilled my responsibilities as a customer, but the store has provided no accountability. This was my usual UPS store but after my experience the afternoon of 4/14/26 I will not be returning. The moment I entered with my Amazon return, a woman behind the counter with long blond hair and no name tag gave me an icy stare. She refused to offer a greeting or reply to mine to her and instead stood there, wordlessly, with a stone faced glare. As I pulled up the return codes for each of the items she proceeded to SLAM the scanner onto the counter in between each item and in general seemed unable to contain her obvious disapproval of me being there. She snapped at me several times when there was a glitch in scanning and used a condescending tone whenever she DID deem to speak to me, appearing to be very overwhelmed by the task. This was by far the most undeservingly rude experience I have ever received from any business. Not only was she unprofessional, but acted in such a hostile way that I won't risk returning to this location in order to avoid contact with this person. read more

Man... is it just me or have UPS employees really just lost all sense of customer service?!? I came to the Encinitas location today and was helped (or I should say scolded by) a lady named Lisa. When it was my turn to be helped, she just pat the counter like I was a dog she was calling over. She didn't greet me and just scanned things and just looked down the whole time. This review is long overdue. I've been using this UPS location for a business mailbox for 4 years now. Multiple times I have had this team go above and beyond to help me out. Recently I had to ship a package and was running behind. I realized I would arrive 10 minutes after closing. I called to confirm the closing time and mentioned I would be a few minutes late. The person who answered said, "Don't worry, we will wait for you, our box holders are super important." Another time a person told me they hadn't received a package I sent them a month earlier. I called the store and they were able to retrieve my shipping confirmation, tracking number, who signed for...and emailed me with the info in minutes. Again, cannot recommend enough. read more

They were very helpful in helping me resolve a situation regarding sending back company equipment.

I have mailed a few packages at this store with no problem...they were within a US or returning items via UPS. But on 2/24 I mailed a gift to a friend in Toronto and 3 days later I'm still dealing with getting the info right for Canada. UPS stores are franchises and the owners know nothing about foreign shipping.My item was characterized correctly so there was a problem with customs in LA and now there is a problem with Canadian brokerage because I was asked to assign a monetary value and it has no commercial value. So I'm still working on establishing that fact with Canada who wants over 42.00 in duty...on a crocheted stuff toy I made. Who needs this aggravation. Don't use this business. The owner wasn't as helpful as he could have been and did not apologize for the aggravation he has caused me. read more

This store has lost 3 packages of mine in the last 3 months, costing me nearly $1000 out of pocket. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location or a competitor. This store used a shipping service that said package would be there 3 days from my drop off but took over 2 months to arrive with no updates- which made eBay automatically issue a refund of $500 to the buyer. During that 2 months, I contacted the store multiple times to follow up with the manager and he told me he would find out more information and get back to me. I gave him my phone number and my email, he never got back to me and I had to call multiple times. Each time he had forgot to contact them and said he would call me back in a bit with an update, which he still never did I would then call him the next day to get the same run around. Once the item was force refunded to the buyer by eBay, I emailed him to at least get a claim going to try to get some money back and he never responded. I followed up and was told he would contact me, again he never did. Lost my window for a claim. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO) I stupidly came back to this location and the next set of packages did get delivered, however to the wrong address. After I verified the address as good, the manager asked if I wanted the tracking for my 5 packages to show in my UPS app- I said yes. He then had to to re-input my 5 shipments to do that and when he did that, he bypassed me verifying the addresses and shipped 2 of my 5 shipments to the same address. Shipping cost was over $60 on the 1 lost package and I had to refund the buyer $200. The time and money it would've taken me to get the package back plus with what happened after the first package loss- I had to refund the customer again and cut my losses. This review is not misdirected, it is not UPS fault that this happened- it is directly correlated the incompetence of the manager at this store. This store costs me almost $1000 out of my pocket- I will never use UPS again due to these experiences. read more

I usually have decent service at the UPS Store. But I prefer Coastal Annex as they are individually owned and you get a lot better service because they want you to come back, and recommend them. It was obvious yesterday that this store employee did not care whether I ever came back or not. When I walked in yesterday afternoon, Thursday June 27th, there is only one customer that was being helped by an employee in the rear part of the store. Near the front register was a tall, brunette, young woman who did not look up from her phone when I walked in to acknowledge me. I walked up to her and said "hello". After a few more seconds of reading whatever was on her phone, she looked up & asked "what can I help you with?". No smile or "hello", " good afternoon", " thank you for waiting", if anything, I felt like I intruded on her private time. I had a return from Amazon. I used to return items from Amazon at Kohl's when I had to, so I was a bit unfamiliar with the process at the UPS Store. I could not stop thinking of an old Customer Service program I am familiar with from working at McGraw Hill decades ago called "Remember Me? I'm the Customer". One of the things mentioned in the program is how a dissatisfied customer on average will tell 10 people, while a satisfied customer won't tell anybody. I normally don't complain about rude behavior, but I am seeing so much of it lately that I am starting to tell people. And with today's technology... I'm able to tell a lot more than than 10! Maybe this will get back to her and she'll have a change of attitude, or maybe someone in the service industry will after reading this. It really feels like good old-fashioned customer service is a thing of the past. read more
