Can I just say that I love the service here? Currently, I'm doing some projects for a small non-profit from home and I occasionally need prints for meetings. I've been to the local office supply stores around town and dread having to deal with employees who don't know how to use their equipment..... So it is a breath of fresh air when I come here, with my tiny print job and get superb service in just minutes. It's true that they say 'no job is too small". The last time I went I only needed 15 copies of a single page. I stood in the lobby area- emailed my file, and voila- had my prints in less than 5 minutes! And both B/W and color prints are half the cost of the office supply stores.... The only caveat is that as a business printer, you have to get in before 4:30 before they close. This place has great prices and great service. Needed 100+ color copies, so I shopped around and found that Fedex Kinko's charges 59 cents per copy, UPS charges 49 cents, and Minuteman Press charges 29 cents! Less than half the price of Fedex Kinko's. I was really impressed that the gentleman did the copies for me - I didn't have to fumble with anything. He made sure to get it exactly how I wanted it before charging me for copies. Also, it's in a much more convenient location than it's competition (if your a Carlsbad business). Will be back for laminates - they are about $2.50 here, and I've been quoted closer to $30 elsewhere! read more

I recently needed a quick print job before an important sales presentation. I put it off until the last second and was worried I might have to go to an overpriced retail store (no names mentioned) to get the work done. I found this spot instead, called them that afternoon and told them that I needed some presentations printed that afternoon. They were to close in 2 hours but said no problem! When I showed up, I reviewed the prints and everything was perfect. I talked to a gentleman (owner? manager?) for a bit and told him about my trip the next morning to Boston for a meeting. It takes A LOTTTT for me to give a one-star reviews. I'm an easy-going person who doesn't have time to get upset by stupid things. I will make an exception in this case purely on the basis of the email exchange I just received from the manager/owner after expressing my frustration with the utter lack of service and care they have shown. It all started out fine. They were nice and helpful when I placed my order. I explained what I wanted. The owner took time with me. When the printer started the job, he had to call because the notes were lost. No prob. They didn't get the job done on time...okay, not a crisis. The job was not QA'd at all. The scoring was awful. And several of the corners on one box of cards was slightly burned. (The 'raised ink' wasn't anything to write home about. The glitter in the ink was all over the papers. Maybe just part of the process, I don't know...but they should tell you that they don't dust it off.) I take the stuff back to be fixed. I tell them I'll go home and make sure to go through everything....(time I don't have.) We're talking 4500 cards I gotta fold and inspect. TRUE, I didn't call to say I was coming back in to pick up what I would have thought would have been corrected immediately. I had left the cards there for like a week! The burned cards were fixed but the folded cards had not yet been checked. I express my frustration. The counter person tells me the owner will call. He doesn't. That day or the next. I write him about the baffling customer service and his response....wait for it. "I could state my case, but bottomline, we'll get on these this weekend, so you can pick up on Monday." There was no, "I'm so sorry"....not even a thank you at the end of his sentence. NOTHING. HOW'S THAT FOR TAKING RESPONSIBILITY? Can't even offer an "I'm sorry your experience wasn't better"??? "I'll take off $20 bucks." "We'll deliver them to your house." NOTHING. (It takes one hour to fold 500 cards. It's 10am Friday. I have to wait until Monday.) read more

I came in here about a week ago because I had a few more Save the Dates I needed printed for my wedding after printing and sending the bulk of them earlier. I had my files on a flash drive and was in a hurry, but had prepared myself for them being busy and needing to come back later in the day or even week (as I had to do at the print shop where I printed the first batch.) They quickly loaded my files, and something had gone wrong with my flash drive and they couldn't open them. I was bummed because it had been about a 20 minute drive and I thought I'd have to go back and get my computer, but instead of turning me away they tried it on about 3 other computers and had 2 different employees trying to get it worked out. I don't know what they did, but they quickly got my flash drive to work on another computer and printed everything I needed within about 15 minutes of my arrival! They even had the same exact paper (a white linen cardstock) that I had used at the other location! I was prepared to print on whatever they had, because I was in such a hurry to get them done but I was elated that they looked exactly the same as the others I had printed (at a MUCH more expensive printshop up near LA.) I had a FANTASTIC experience with these guys, EXCELLENT customer service and very reasonably priced! I really can't say enough nice things about them. I will definitely be back again! read more
