[[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all, this review is solely based on my customer service experience, not the quality of the work this shop may provide.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is due to the fact that the customer service was so poor, I did not proceed with having any work done here. I brought my Lexus in for an estimate on a chrome delete, wrap, and wheel powder coat project. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I met with Corey, who seemed very friendly and knowledgeable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went through all the details of what I wanted done. He informed me that the powder coating would be subcontracted out to a nearby company. He gave me a verbal estimate of his portion of the project ($1500) and for the wheels ($1000). As I wanted the color of the wheels to match the color of the wrap, he needed to contact the outside vendor to work on getting a match. He said he would get back to me in a few days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A few days turned into almost 2 weeks, but he finally got some color samples from the powder coat company.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We agreed on a time that I would come in the following day to review the samples - [[HIGHLIGHT]]I made it very clear that my work schedule is very inflexible and I would have a narrow time window that I could be there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was a little irritated when I arrived at the agreed time and was told that Corey wasn't there because he had gone to lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]What's more, the person who was there couldn't help me and seemed offended that I was displeased at been stood up by Corey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Corey did finally show up. None of the samples were a close match, and Corey said the powder coater could do a custom mix to get a better match. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So, I won't go into every last detail, but this matching process dragged out another 3 weeks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I again scheduled a very specific time to come in to review the new samples, which Corey agreed to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I got there, Corey was nowhere to be found and I was told that the samples weren't at Goat Wraps but I should drive to the outside vendor (North County Powder Coating).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So, having limited time before I needed to get back to work, I rushed over to NCPC. Long story short, the new samples were disappointing and in talking directly to the guys at NCPC, it became clear that the custom mix was not something that they had any real experience with and they were kind of experimenting. So I decided at that point to pick one of their standard colors, even though it wouldn't be a match with the wrap color. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After advising Corey of that plan, I waited several more days before he finally sent me a written estimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The written estimate was $700 higher. He also said there would be a 3% charge for paying by credit card (which had not been previously disclosed). He blamed the higher cost on the powder coating, but his own itemized estimate showed that most of the increase was actually on his portion of the project. He was unwilling to negotiate the price down at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At this point, given that Corey had not been a man of his word on several occasions, I did not feel comfortable doing business with him and found a different shop to do the job.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

I have a 2020 Toy Hauler. The front is painted fiberglass and the gel coating oxidizes quickly. I have had it buffed out and wax and it returns to ugly. I spoke to Corey at Goat Wraps. We discussed PPT and other protective measures but he researched and his crew ended up putting on a ceramic coating that a meteor couldn't penetrate. They ran a day late on completion and I found out just as I was driving over. I found Xavier on a ladder using an electric buffing wheel with many worn out pads. He was running long due to his pride in his work and wanted to get it just right. He was also working around the direct sunlight as the coating has application restrictions. I called to make an appointment in a month in advance because I work 3 jobs, and told them its kinda hard for me to take off during the week, and he offered to push me in on a weekend. Booked it. I told him that I had a buddy of mine is getting into this field industry of car wrapping and he practiced on my truck, I was cool about it, because It was free, but wasn't really happy about it in the end, because later after 2 months im truck was peeling bad from the front and the back. Corey did an unreal job on my brand new Tesla X Plaid. In addition to the whole car wrap, I wanted a carbon wrap done on the rear spoiler- he even had multiple types of Carbon Fiber to choose from. Final job came out just perfect. I opted to have the additional ceramic coating applied too which makes a huge difference in cleaning and protection. The dirt literally washes right off the wrap.
