We ate here today. I ordered a 2 item Salmon and Chicken teriyaki entree but what I received was diced chicken and what looked like a flat chicken breast and not salmon fillet. I sent it back and the manager Allie didn't even attempt to rectify the problem. She said there was no guarantee they had a better piece of salmon and she wasn't sure why it looked like that. Great place for celebrating! The food is always delicious and fresh. My hunny loves their seafood options. I love their ribeye! My kids love the garlic shrimps and steak. Of course their chicken fried rice just compliments the meal so well. Full bar here so drinks stay flowing and their waitresses always make the sake bombs fun! Spend my birthday here. Our grill chef was kinda shy. He put on 90s music mostly as background to his show . Anyway the whole time our cook was speaking Spanish with the other two costumer in the table. I guess that kinda made me feel uncomfortable. Anyway service was great. Would come back. I have never been so disappointed with a ramen before- I mean, ramen is ramen. Noodles served was still hard and soup itself was a little over warm, not hot. Romeo was nice that's why I'm giving it a 2 star (for service). So ho is closed on Mondays so I gave this a shot since I'm craving for ramen. Everything was almost absolutely perfect! My medium rare filet mignon was cooked perfectly and melted like butter. The veggies and rice were delicious. The chef was very theatrical and charming, he impressed everyone with his tricks, and made us all laugh the entire night. My only problem was my drink, I ordered a mango-colada it was grotesquely watered down. I asked the waiter if he would mind bringing me a new one. He brought it back and it tasted exactly the same but chunkier and it was so icy I couldn't sip it through the straw. I'm almost certain he threw it back in the blender with another scoop of ice and brought me back the same exact one and called it a day. I was very grossed out, but just drank my water instead. We absolutely enjoyed the food preparation and the service we received from the wait staff. Just the fact that the waitress kept coming back and checking on our drinks and had suggested a couple things off the menu were things I'm not accustomed to in the Temecula area anymore. So it has been a while since I've eaten at this restaurant, and I was surprised to see it had been recently remodeled, and the remodel was beautiful. The server was nice, but the hostess was rude and unwelcoming. I watched the two managers stand over in the corner and talk the entire time I was eating, didn't bother to run my sushi rolls that were sitting at the bar for almost 15 minutes . The manager situation there is outrageous. I can't even imagine not helping your servers with their tables. The food was terrible and again after watching your sushi roll sit for all that time you really didn't want to eat it afterwards. We've been dining at Shoguns Temecula for many years. We made a reservation- a month in advance- for my husband's 70th birthday. We got seated on time but in the back corner by an open supply closet. It was hot, loud and fully packed at 5 PM but I decided to focus on our guests. For a meal that cost $329 I was very disappointed that we were rushed the entire evening. While I was eating a server came over and asked me if I wanted a box. I told her, "We're eating!" - Strike 1! Then as we were all eating, another server came over with my husband's birthday dessert and we were not even done with our meal! - Strike 2! I was sitting on the end of the U and the hostess was putting the dirty dishes of the party next to us right beside me!!! - Strike 3 and then a server came up and presented me with the bill and our entire table was still eating! They were intentionally rushing us to leave bc it was packed when we left. The food and chef were the only good parts of the evening. Why didn't I trust the rating for this place? It was late at night and my usual sushi spot had already closed. I decided to give this place a try and was hoping that maybe over their negative feedback, they had worked on it. I was wrong. I ordered a fried sushi roll and one Philadelphia roll. I don't really know where to begin... The presentation of the sushi was a mess. The rice was all over the place. The fish didn't look fresh. The worst part, the tempura was disappointing. It tasted like it was drenched in oil and wasn't good to eat. I couldn't even swallow it. The most disappointing $24 I have ever spent. Asides from their sushi, maybe the other food are good? I was very disappointed to learn this evening that this restaurant jacks up the prices for holidays, like Valentine's Day. So the fried rice that is normally complimentary with your meal has a charge on Valentine's Day. Apparently they jack up the prices for the weekend too, according to the manager I spoke to this evening. They actually use a different menu depending on the day. The food is the same...but the prices are different. That's a great way to take advantage of your clientele! We paid $145 for 3 people, including tip. Not so long ago, we were paying under $100 for the same meal. Even though my family has come here for years to celebrate special occasions, it's time to find a new place that respects its customers by not being openly greedy. There have been other issues throughout the years at this establishment, such as keeping our table waiting for over an hour after we've already been seated before the chef shows up...and no explanation or apology from anyone unless you inquire about the long wait. Anyway, even my easy going husband is put off by this sleezy practice. To start off, I went to this place for my anniversary and I have to say I absolutely hated the experience. We went there hoping for our own table but were seated next to a very loud family. The service was not good at all as we waited 3 hours for our food to finally be brought out and cooked. The cook dropped utensils on my boyfriends plate while doing a trick and it was just way too much wrong. The bathrooms were gross and the food was awful and burnt but also really expensive for absolutely no reason. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

I specifically ask for the front because the grille in the back does not taste every well. no matter how many times I have came over the years the grille in the back is trash compared to the grille in the front. you can't communicate with the cook any extra seasoning and it always taste bland. so what does the bar tender do not listen and the food gets made in the back. so I leave my card ask to me checked out and I go to the bathroom. I come back see the bill open it see that there is no place for me to sign take my card and leave. when I'm leaving the parking lot I have the whole work force outside like i just stole their Christmas bonuses.
