My server, Amy, was so pleasant, I didn't feel I was dining alone. She truly made my day. I shared that with her when the bill came, and she was so grateful, not just for herself, but also for her section/station team. I ordered the Brewhouse Burger and fries. I asked for the fries to be "well done" (crispy) and they were perfect with three ketchups, please! I didn't have to ask twice. :) I love IPA's and Amy suggested Claw and Bone. Great choice! Temecula is rich with food and wine venues. Many have "Amy's" who create the customer experience every owner wishes they had. You know them when you encounter them - they are gold! The weather was absolutely perfect, nice and sunny, and we got seated out on the patio which was awesome because it's dog friendly and we had our little frenchie with us. The ahi tuna was good but I've definitely had better. The sauce leaned a little sweet for my taste. BBQ Wings 5/5- So good! Well coated in sauce and the skin was perfectly crispy! Calamari 5/5- One of the highlights for sure. Light and crispy batter, cooked just right. We all loved this one! Tri Tip Sandwich 5/5- Mom approved and that says it all! The food here and drinks were amazing. I make salmon and risotto all this time and coming here the salmon and risotto was cooked perfectly. Also, the wake up call, drink was amazing. It was essentially an espresso martini, but in slushy form and it was very strong, but tasted great. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food, as well as as I went with some coworkers. The service could have been a little better with being more attentive as they missed silverware at the table and we were waiting to get that to start our meal. It all disappeared and rebranded into Oscar Brewing Company which is the last one standing in Southern CA and the legacy lives on with their famous breadsticks. Has a huge indoor and outdoor with a beautiful lake. They serve beer, wine, cocktails, non alcoholic. Margarita flights and beer flights. I got the margarita flight using CaliFino Tequila (you have to go to their tasting room in Carlsbad). OBC also has their own original drinks. We ordered family style to share among 4 adults and 2 teenagers for their birthdays. OBC gave out complimentary OBC chocolate chunk cookie with vanilla ice cream with a candle. -Breadsticks - a must -Greek salad -Margherita pizza -Buffalo wings -Spicy soy garlic wings -Buffalo chicken fries -Chicken nachos w chicken on the side -Truffle fries -half chicken, 2 breadsticks, side salad Combo Other than the wait time (kitchen and bar was backed up), the food was delicious. Visited OBC again on Sunday afternoon after going downtown and finding out there was a huge wait to eat at a place there. We walked into OBC and there was no wait to sit inside. Score! Love this place because of all the space and the views. Private rooms available to have parties too. Parking is plentiful. Our server was so sweet and made sure to check in on us often. We ordered a bottle of prosecco, which was $52 and then it cost a few dollars to get 3 juices. Would love for them to have an unlimited mimosa option. The brunch menu had lots of great choices and prices were reasonable. We did order the avocado toast from the brunch menu, and then we ordered a burger with truffle fries ($5 extra for truffle fries), and a chicken Caesar wrap and that comes with a side salad. The food was excellent. Avo toast had lots of goat cheese and micro greens. The burger was fresh and cooked well. We had such a great experience here! We ordered the Little Nicky pizza and it was so good! perfectly spicy and packed with flavor. The pizza itself is a great size too, easily enough to share between 2 or even 3 people. We also shared the bulgogi fries, and wow! absolutely amazing. The bulgogi was tender and flavorful, and the kimchi on top added the perfect crunchy, tangy kick that tied everything together. One thing I really appreciated was their non-alcoholic drink selection. They offer NA beers and wines, which is such a nice and thoughtful option and not something you see everywhere. The three of us came here for dinner after seeing a play in Oldtown. OBC has a nice open air environment, which overlooking a pond with ducks. We found the wait wasn't too bad. We liked using the Yelp App, keeping us abreast of our place in line. Nice! Simply put, we found the food to be Five Stars and very creative. Nice going Chef! The beer on the other hand, was crazy bitter. I would guess the IBUs for these wheats were 40 Plus. I did try three tasters, before choosing a cocktail instead. Sorry guys. Their specials have been a perfect fit for our family when the kids were little. Visited a spinoff recently, Oscar's Brewing Company. Sadly, was disappointed during my visit. Being that I had requested the other restaurants regularly, I had grown accustomed to some regular routine at the restaurant. The previous iterations were order at the counter, grab a seat and food is delivered to your table. While in line, we were always offered breadsticks to enjoy. This was a new sit down version of Oscar's. We ordered the pesto chicken pizza and half lemon chicken, salad and breadstick combo. Same good as from before. Was very excited to relive some history here. I was originally taken aback when we weren't offered breadsticks upon arrival. Different themed location without the extra friendly perk I guess. When we ordered, our server simply stated, do you want to start off with some breadsticks? No mention of the fact that they weren't free anymore until we asked. Also, the server asked if we wanted ranch dressing to dip the pizza in. Again, no mention of an extra charge for it. I'm happy to pay for it but would be helpful to know about it ahead of time rather than surprised when the bill arrives. The menu states that pizzas are brought out as they are finished cooking in the oven. My pizza was warm. Tasted good, but wasn't "hot out of the oven". The chicken was also warm at best. Not the delivery I had known to love years ago. Service was spotty. Barely saw our server until the end of our meal. I will say she spent quite a bit of time with other guests. Wasn't sure if she was simply answering many questions or actually spending time to get to know them. Possibly knew them and was catching up on old times. I just know we barely saw her until we were cashing out our bill. Our waters were empty most of the meal. All in all it was a rough visit. We love Oscar's brewing, normally. On this particular day, not too much went right. Our server was named Omar took a really long time to come over to take our order. Then we had to track him down for drink refills. It's a beautiful restaurant with wide open space, outside is overlooking the lake, gorgeous no matter where you sit. Full service bar, we adore the bartender, he's always sweet and really good at making recommendations. Today I ordered the ribeye with the fingerling potatoes a Brussels sprouts. I swapped the Brussels for a salad with ranch and exchanged the potatoes for fries. They brought me a vinaigrette salad and the fingerlings. Oops. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken sando. He loved it even though they forgot the sauce, we had to ask for it on the side. They were out of blonde ale so he got American lager and loved it. The manager sat down with us, Joseph Johnson and was so nice and asked about our experience. We told him the truth. He was very kind and gracious. This place has a very nice ambiance to it. They have cozy seating in the bar area which is open seating. Outside is illuminated with Xmas lights which is pretty pleasant to the eyes. The food was exceptional I ordered Mr right which is the tritip sandwich! The sandwich was full of flavor! I also ordered the breadstick which were seasoned well, soft, and fluffy. Lastly was the bulgogi fries. They were ok. I say ok cuz I don't think the Kim chi should be on top of the fries, maybe on the side. The acidity doesn't mix well with the cheesy fries. Took forever to be seated, as we sat and watched tons of people walking out. Once finally seated our order was taken fairly quick and then we were back to waiting as it took quite a while for our drinks to arrive one of which was finally brought out just seconds before our food arrived. The food was not spectacular although the chicken nachos had decent flavor they did not look good, the large dollop of guacamole on the top looked like it had spent time under a heat lamp, the atmosphere was ok as long as you were nowhere near the bar as what sporting event that was on the TV was getting very loud and obnoxious shouts from the people watching. Although I don't have a picture we also ordered the poblano burger which was the first time ever we received poblano with the skin still on, was not edible had to peel as much as possible just to make it edible. The skin on was pointed out to a manager walking by and we were told that is how the chef wants it served, but thanks for the feedback. No offer of a discount or anything to make it better just thanks for the feedback, so fair warning if you don't like skins on your poblano then don't get the poblano burger. The ambience is the best, but the Breast sticks are amazing as a child. I remember walking into a mall and them always offering a free breadstick. This was a spot. Came in with a large party of 14, and unfortunately the customer service really missed the mark. Our server barely checked on our table. There were long stretches where we had no water refills, no extra napkins, and no follow-up on our food. I personally noticed our server hanging out behind the bar and chatting with other tables, while we hadn't been checked on at all. I eventually had to ask a food runner to please grab her just so we could get basic water refills. On top of that, they forgot to bring out the Korean barbecue plate entirely. It came out about 20 minutes after everyone else's food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Given the delay and condition, I rightfully asked for it to be comped, which they did, but it shouldn't have gotten to that point. Food-wise: The Chicken Caesar wrap was actually really good and very filling easily the highlight of the meal. The pizzas were just okay, nothing memorable. I'm disappointed because the food has potential, but service matters especially when you're hosting a large group. As a Yelp Elite, I try to be fair, and I'd consider coming back to see if the customer service improves... or possibly just sit at the bar, where service might be more attentive. read more

I have always driven by OBC and noticed the large water fountain out front that always catches my eye. I finally got a chance to stop in, and I am glad I did because the food lived up to the beauty of that fountain. I ordered the burger and upgraded to the truffle fries, which were absolutely worth it. Everything was hot, fresh, and really flavorful. I also tried their hazy IPA called Lizards in the Air.
