initially, my cousins and I wanted to go to 1909, but with a 40-minute wait versus no wait at all, Public House was the obvious choice. Our server was amazing, and the food was super tasty. We ordered a bunch to share--pizza, burgers, shishito peppers, pesto pasta, and goat cheese toast--all of which were delish. That said, there were a few downsides. At one point, the server forgot to put in my order, which was fine since we were all full, but it was a bit funny waiting for a burger that wasn't even in the system. We were excited to hear the band, but with some tech difficulties and having been there over an hour, we decided it was time to head out. Overall, it's a good place with great vibes, good food, and wonderful service. Definitely a spot I'd return to for a relaxed night out.

Great place to get a drink at a good price. They have good music and at times their in-house DJ. On both occasions our servers have been amazing. Love this place and will continue to come when I come to Temecula.

Starting our Temecula weekend we needed a bite to eat! We were going to 1909 later in the weekend so we wanted to change it up and go somewhere else and we walked past this place and decided to come in. This spot is way bigger than I was expecting it to be the back outside patio is great and seems like there is a lot of entertainment that happens with a small stage. We just came for a drink and light bites and they had empanadas on the menu today so we decided to try those. The menu had lots of great options I would love to come back for lunch or dinner. For a Friday afternoon it really wasn't busy so it was a quiet and relaxing day to start the weekend.

What a find!! This spot is in Old Town Temecula, and it's got a great vibe. We sat in a private area off the entry. Our server was Christopher but he gave us to Ariana. Both were very kind, and Ariana is a kick and a half. The food was fabulous. We had lunch, so our bill of fare was that variety. The Eeuben was scrumptious, the Mac n cheese decadent, and the flatbreads were a good size and yummy. The Mac n Cheese pictured is one that we added truffle and steak. The flatbreads were BBQ chicken and pomodoro with extra arugula. All in all, A+ and we shall return. Thanks for making our New Years Day fun. Like MacArthur said, "we shall return"

This happens to be one of my favorite brunch spots in town! My gf's & I used to frequently come here for the drag shows, but they stopped those awhile back & we miss them!! We still come here for brunch occasionally & taco Tuesdays when they have them (currently not happening). Seating is pretty open & outdoor patio is very nice on a warm day. The restaurant doubles as a club on weekends with a dj. They also offer events during the week at times like a sip & paint or karaoke you just need to check the website to find out what & when. Staff is super friendly & since they are known to get busy at times we have learned to be very patient when this occurs... we know that tge servers are well worth the wait! My favorite dish here is the avocado toast or the tomato addiction appetizer. During Christmas they have really tasty cocktails & decorations to make it feel festive/cozy. Downside is the restrooms: only 2 both co Ed & they often smell. So I often wait until we go somewhere else to potty.

On a Friday eveninI met up with a friend in the area and this was one of the places she recommended. She said it was fresh and local, so I agreed to having dinner here. We were seated in the back patio. I had a hottie toddy and my friend had an ice tea. We shared the roasted Brussel sprouts. I don't like blue cheese but the little bit I had wasn't bad. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi tacos. The mahi mahi had great flavor, thought a little dry, but all the other items on the taco (avocado and pineapple salsa) made up for it. My friend ordered the pesto chicken flatbread and enjoyed it. Live music was playing halfway through our dinner. It was great! The experience, service, and food were great that I would return again.

We had tried this place years ago and thought we would try out the Public House for a second time to see if there have been any changes to their menu. The host and servers were friendly and welcoming and the food was "okay" good. Nothing our table ordered was considered amazing or over the top. Would we come here again? Probably not as there are many other eateries to try in the Old Town Temecula area. Our table ordered the BLTA, shrimp tacos, chicken pita sandwich and the Rueben sandwich . There is a nice lively atmosphere as they have a DJ playing music there.

Cute place that we came to for lunch. It is going to be tough to find parking. Food was decent with good proportions. Probably get the steak next time. Tacos were alright, but not amazing It was quiet for lunch the day we came, but that was great. However even so, they were busy elsewhere.

QUICK TAKE// Hip spot near the Main Street of downtown Temecula. A ton of food variety and a fun spot for groups! Later night becomes a club. FOOD// I had THE REUBAN and upgraded fries to TRUFFLE PARMESAN - both were very tasty. I shared an order of MAC & CHEESE where we added BACON and HOT CHEETOS as toppings - guilty pleasure but still enjoyed. Had 3 rounds of HORCHATA ESPRESSO MARTINIs as special holiday drinks...and that for sure was the highlight. SERVICE// Very attentive! We had a lovely waiter who made sure we weren't ever without a cocktail . VIBES// Clean restaurant! We were actually seated inside in what looked like a newly renovated section. Had a cute fake fireplace! ETC// We were there on a Thursday night, starting around 10:30pm or something became clubbing on the outside.

We decided to give this place a shot since our original choice 1909 was too crowded, and we definitely made a good choice. We were drawn in by the live music and decided to give the place a shot. Parking was there, but its more if you wanna pay or not. Directly across from the place was a pay for parking lot with a decent amount of spots. Otherwise you can play a gamble for street parking or walk from a free lot where you still hope to get a. spot. It was all outdoor seating with a bar. It kind of gave that backyard hangout vibe. I enjoyed the live music too. But there was a good amount of seating and overall the place was pretty clean. Not to mention, they are dog friendly! Food was pretty good. It was your typical pub food options but I enjoyed it. The brussel sprouts seemed like they were cooked just right to me. The Ahi Tuna Salad was huge, and pretty. There was a generous amount of tuna in there as well. The chicken pesto flatbread was yummy. The crust was nice and crispy. I enjoyed the cheese pull and the flavors were nice. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. Its definitely a great space for friend to hang or dates to go. Even to have a solo drink as well. I reccomend!

    Are kids okay to bring?

    Yes!

Is there bottomless mimosas on weekdays?

Yes we do! We love pups. We also have water bowls for them too

Are you able to accommodate a large group on a Sunday around 1 for a rehearsal lunch? Possibly 21 people.

I think there is enough room outside, but I would call and make reservations to be sure

    Do you take reservations?

We do! Call us or use Open Table

Do you have live music on a saturday?

Live music happens randomly make sure an follow us on Instagram

When do you have live music?

Just dj on Thursday and some Saturday brunch

What time do you close on saturdays? Your yelp says 9pm but when I called, your staff said 9:30pm. Also can I make reservations during this time?

It's 9:30.. :) We are first come first serve

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.
