Stopped here for a nightcap. Tried the creamy expresso Martini. Josh the bartender made our drinks. The flavor was really good. You can order food from Spuntino Pizza which is attached to this bar. We tried the calamari - unfortunately it lacked flavor and I wished that it was more golden brown. The portion was pretty small for the price. But one person in our party enjoyed it! There is a good amount of seating at the long bar, as well as multiple high top tables for two. We didn't try any food but it looked good (based on what others ordered.) Friendly bartenders too. Bartender Tay was very pleasant. There is also a patio in front if you would like to chill. She introduced herself and made sure we were good & even stopped to chat with us a bit. Friendly vibes. I am not one to judge anything off of one experience but lately after multiple bad experiences I'm leaving this review. This place is not what it used to be and after my most recent visit I had to leave a review. A friend ordered food that took nearly an hour to get, while a group that ordered 10 mins after her got it within 10 mins. Then I close out my tab with the same drink order I always get and was charged to put ice in my drink. Time to find a new after work watering hole. read more

Favorite spot to stop in for a casual drink or dinner. We came here on the recommendation of Cole from Lorenzi winery, and it did not disappoint. We ordered a large sausage & mushroom pizza with artichokes on half, and it was delicious. Crust was soft and wonderful, nothing too heavy. Took some slices home to enjoy tomorrow. They have a great full bar and all the Cocktails and martinis looked amazing. They also have a great wine list, and we got a bottle of their own Sangiovese for $46 which was wonderful. Absolutely recommend, and we will definitely be back! Can't forget our amazing servers, Todd and Nathan - fabulous, and we met the nicest local guy sitting at the bar. Great experience! read more

What happened here? The elevated little bar we used to love has vanished. Came in this evening to have an espresso martini and they do not have Chopin vodka anymore. Asked for a Ketel One as a substitute and we watched the bar tender make it with well vodka. Total BS and we called him out not to charge us for the Ketel. The espresso martini was not even close to what we have experienced in the past with true mixologists, where did they go??? Could not even finish the drink it was so bad made by an unexperienced bartender, not even close to what we typically are used to here. Don't know what changed but you have lost a long time local customer. Absolutely horrendous and The Bar Next Door needs to review your vibe and presentation. We are OUT...! By the way, there is literally an espresso machine in the bar they were using for the restaurant but they did not use the espresso machine for the cocktail as they have on the past. Terrible service. The manager couldn't have cared less that our food didn't arrive on time or together. Most of the wait staff ignored us. My dish arrived well after the rest of our group and obliviously was sitting around for a long time. Frankly I believe they all could have cared less that we were there. Fine. That's how I can describe the food and service. Nothing special, just... fine. Bartender was dry and not rude, but not friendly. Food was good but nothing special. We got a couple of drinks a piece and two small pizzas. The 4 cheese had too much Gorgonzola in my opinion. The meatballs on the meat lovers was the best part. Blood orange margarita was okay- overpriced in my opinion. Also got a tequila sour. They took awhile tog eat my husbands buffalo trace on the rocks. Not difficult to pour - no mixing needed! Wonderful place on the side of a pizza restaurant. It's own little bar section connected that you can also eat at! Place was packed but the service was prompt and they weren't messing around. I wish this place had better management because the location is great. Some times it is great. Especially when Todd is at the bar. He makes the place happen. Food service is very inconsistent. And I think a guy named Dan works there. Not so good. But he tries, just a major lack of training. Pizza comes out big, thick and doughy and some times it is ok. Like a 6 out of 10. Pasta comes right out sometimes, soft, not chewy, correct temp and good. Sometimes you wait 30-45 minutes and it came out of the kitchen in 10 minutes. So there it sits under the heat light. Cold, thick and chewy. Kinda tough. But like I said, great location. It's just poor on site management. Servers huddled up talking and not looking at their service area and their customers. There heads are down to avoid eye contact. I won't go back until things change. But it would have to be on an upper level. I'n the mean time I'll go to Nono's. More of a drive but I need professional service and consistent food. Signed $500 a week dining out. read more

While both of our drinks were good, we agreed they were kind of weak. Maybe we should've ordered something else. Next time. We also got a cannoli to-go which was so good!
