Every bite told a story and was full of incredible flavor. Kevin, was outstanding friendly, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. He even went above and beyond by making me a handcrafted Bloody Mary from scratch, even though it's not on the menu. Extremely disappointed with the customer service today. We ordered our food and specifically ordered my daughter's kids pizza first so she could eat sooner. The only thing that ever came out was her pizza. After waiting an hour and a half, we still never received the rest of our food. What made the experience worse was that staff kept telling us the delay was because it was Mother's Day and they were busy, yet we watched multiple customers who came in after us receive their food before we did. It became obvious our order had been forgotten. To top it off, the manager, Jamari, was very rude and unprofessional toward my mother. She repeatedly interrupted her while she was trying to explain the issue instead of listening and helping resolve it respectfully. Sweet family owned restaurant. The ambience was comforting & very family oriented. With the young daughters playing outside, then coming in to take the customer's orders. I came here to order the chicken mama Mia, but I didn't see it on the menu. So I ordered the chicken piccata instead. I later found out that they can make it & the things you see on their Yelp page that aren't on the menu. So I will try the chicken mama Mia next time. My hubby ordered the spaghetti bolognese off menu, and my son ordered the carbonara. I also ordered the arancini, it was my fav from everything we ordered. I've driven by this place many times and decided to give it a try. They serve some bread that my bf really enjoyed but I was trying to save my appetite for our appetizer, the bruschetta. The flavor was perfect, the tomatoes were fresh, the herbaceous basil, the balsamic reduction, perfection. I could've eaten the whole plate. For entrees we decided on the lobster ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo. The ravioli was to die for. The rich creamy sauce perfectly complimented the succulent lobster ravioli. Sadly the fettuccine seemed to be lacking in flavor. To finish our meal we shared the spumoni ice cream. So good! I loved the chocolate shell on the outside. Service was good but it did take an exceptionally long time for us to get the bill, not a big deal we were enjoying each other's company on our date night. The wait time for drinks was over 20 minutes, unfortunately our waitress was not attentive, kept forgetting our order and blame that the place was too busy when other tables we're empty and we can see the wait staff chatting on the side or the back of the bar. Simple water refills would take more than ten minutes and getting the bill took 25 minutes. We felt quite displeased with the service. We did order an appetizer the bruschetta was just okay the carbonara was just okay, the pancetta was almost non existent in the plate. My partner and I recently had dinner at Francesca's based on the stellar reviews. Our server began by telling us that some of the pastas were homemade but he didn't know which ones and that if they ran out of the homemade pasta then they wouldn't be homemade. We started with the Caprese salad to share. The tomatoes really weren't ripe, there was little flavor and very little balsamic glaze. For entrees we had the cheese ravioli with bolognese and the chicken Marsala. Both were underwhelming. The vegetables with the Marsala were cold. The ravioli wasn't hot and neither it nor the bolognese was very good. There are much better Italian restaurants in Temecula. read more

Fettuccine Alfredo needs more love, it was to running, flavors didn't mixed well. Bread was burnt and not flavor. The server keeps forgetting us, the 2 requests that we ask her, she completely forgot and we saw her talking with other staff members. I love that there's a nice Italian restaurant near home. The food is amazing and they give you great portion sizes. The pizza my husband ordered was very delicious, the sauce had lots of flavor and he even said it will be something he can see himself craving again.The kiddos plates are even large, and delicious for kiddos. Everyone is really friendly there, always checking in on our table. We even were called sweetie by one of the servers there. Always makes it feel so much more welcoming. We have been wanting to try this place out and decided to dine here with good friends that we spent extended time in Italy with this year. Reservations for 4 at 6:00 pm, table ready and we were sat immediately. We had not had enough time to crack open our menu and our server was standing over us inquiring to what we would like to order tonight. This repeated twice before we were able to respond with our menu choices. We ordered Caesar Salad and Clam Chowder to start, I opted for Spaghetti Carbonara and wife had the Mussels for main course. Everybody's Caesar Salad came out and they started while I could see from my seat the clam chowder sitting under a heat lamp and server positioned behind register counting receipts. After a bit she realized my soup was not served and went back and got it. No apology, just sat it down and on her way. Main course came out before wife could finish salad. We kept salad at table to enjoy but with such a small table we needed to unload the dish to make ample space for main course dishes. As for quality: Clam Chowder was ok, decent flavor but consistency was thin and far from traditional. Caesar salad was good but they overcharged for anchovies. My wife enjoyed the mussels but they were small and 2 of the mussels needed to be tossed as they did not open. Shame on the chef for serving them. The Spaghetti Carbonara was just ok. I was hoping for a game changer but instead received a dish that was far from spectacular. To sum it up, food was not as good as I expected based on reviews and service was all over the place. Also, it would go along way if servers would smile. Frowns bring negative energy in which a friendly smile or gesture goes a long way in helping overlook little flaws or mistakes. Francesca's used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but unfortunately it has gone downhill over the past year, and last night sealed it for us. We went for Valentine's Day and had made our reservation over six weeks ago, specifically requesting a booth. When we arrived, we were told there were no booths available. Instead, we were seated at a table extremely close to another couple, which completely took away from what should have been a romantic dinner. To make it worse, there was a Moroccan dancer, performing with extremely loud Moroccan music at an Italian restaurant. She was moving from table to table trying to get attention while guests were clearly trying to enjoy a quiet Valentine's dinner. At one point even blowing fire. Weird. The whole atmosphere felt more like a loud show than a restaurant experience. Even the basics have changed, and not for the better. The bread they bring to start is now dry and crumbly, like day old bread. The iced tea is no longer brewed and had an acidic, off taste. The menu has also changed, and overall the quality and experience just aren't what they used to be. This used to be a place we loved, but we won't be coming back. read more

So delicious! My dad has lived in Temecula for over 5 years now and I've seen Francesca's every time when driving down Temecula Parkway but somehow hadn't tried it until this past weekend. My dad had his favorite Italian place at a different location, so we never really veered away from it, but we decided to change the norm this time and I'm glad we did! I opted for the Chicken Parm, my dad the Spaghetti Bolognese and my husband the White Sauce Lasagna special. We all loved our food so much that we raved about it all night and kept talking about it the next day. My dad said that he is going to start making Francesca's part of his rounds. The meals provided so much food and mine turned into 3 meals for me. I really liked that it came with some veggies as well as the pasta and chicken to add something to the plate of carbs. The chicken was breaded and cooked perfectly, and the skinny spaghetti noodles were a perfect compliment. Perhaps what I liked the most was the complimentary bread! Italian places generally provide bread with oils, but this bread came out doused in garlic and butter and it was literally mouthwateringly good. I can't wait to come back! read more

Fabulous experience. Local little eatery that has it all. The food is house made as is the pastas. 4 of us attended today and we had 2 pastas and two pizzas. The first pasta was the checca which was tasty and light as it should be. The other pasta was the stuffed spinach tortellini with vodka sauce, another winner. The two pizzas were both the carnivores. Lovely sliced meatballs, sausage, and pepperoni. Tasty all around. The portions were a good size, and for the overall taste and size, the prices are fair. Our server Cristina was delightful, and she even brought us a mini cannoli to taste. Wonder soooo good. This review was almost less than 5 stars because the music was a bit too loud.
