f you're craving authentic New York-style Italian, Francesca's Italian Kitchen is it. Every dish hits--flavor, freshness, and portion size all on point. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and bold, and the flavors are exactly what you want from real Italian food. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out. The service is amazing--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Honestly, this place nails food, ambience, and service. If you're looking for a slice of New York Italian right here in Temecula, you can stop searching--this is it.

Food and service by Gillmarie were fantastic! Enjoyed Chicken Marsala and eggplant Parmesan. Grateful they serve local wineries including my favorite Doffo by glass and bottle! Meatballs are delish. Bread was improved recently too. Great go-to Italian!

Sweet family owned restaurant. The ambience was comforting & very family oriented. With the young daughters playing outside, then coming in to take the customer's orders. I came here to order the chicken mama Mia, but I didn't see it on the menu. So I ordered the chicken piccata instead. I later found out that they can make it & the things you see on their Yelp page that aren't on the menu. So I will try the chicken mama Mia next time. My hubby ordered the spaghetti bolognese off menu, and my son ordered the carbonara. I also ordered the arancini, it was my fav from everything we ordered. We all enjoyed everything, including the complimentary bread. I was so sad everyone was too full to help me try the chocolate soufflé. So we will have to come back & try next time.

I've driven by this place many times and decided to give it a try. They serve some bread that my bf really enjoyed but I was trying to save my appetite for our appetizer, the bruschetta. The flavor was perfect, the tomatoes were fresh, the herbaceous basil, the balsamic reduction, perfection. I could've eaten the whole plate. For entrees we decided on the lobster ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo. The ravioli was to die for. The rich creamy sauce perfectly complimented the succulent lobster ravioli. Sadly the fettuccine seemed to be lacking in flavor. To finish our meal we shared the spumoni ice cream. So good! I loved the chocolate shell on the outside. Service was good but it did take an exceptionally long time for us to get the bill, not a big deal we were enjoying each other's company on our date night. Overall we will definitely be back.

Bruschetta simple and generous

The food was alright the presentation was very good, the service however was not quite what we expected. The wait time for drinks was over 20 minutes, unfortunately our waitress was not attentive, kept forgetting our order and blame that the place was too busy when other tables we're empty and we can see the wait staff chatting on the side or the back of the bar. Simple water refills would take more than ten minutes and getting the bill took 25 minutes. We felt quite displeased with the service. We did order an appetizer the bruschetta was just okay the carbonara was just okay, the pancetta was almost non existent in the plate. The cheese was just okay but sweaty and the desert was overpriced and too vanilla rich to enjoy. Overall it was an okay experience but the service was a disappointment.

Food was delicious, the service was fast, and we are very stuffed and happy! We will be back!

Rigatoni Salsiccia E Peperonata

Really great spot for authentic Italian food. The pasta was fresh and super flavorful, and everything tasted high quality. Service was amazing. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

Lasagna alla Bolognese

Staff was very attentive and gave great recommendations. I ordered the lasagna to be safe a Caesar salad and chicken Parm. It was actually one of the best Lasagnas I ever had. The Caesar dressing was amazing and my husband's chicken parm did not disappoint. Ordering these classic dishes makes me think everything else they have is probably even better. Can't wait to go back. Oh yes don't forget the tiramisu!!!

Chicken Parmigiana

Amazing food! It's absolutely delicious, home made sauces and the wine is spectacular. Definitely recommend. I'll come back and being my family. The servers are great and very knowledgeable!

Pizza Al Tartufo E Filleto

First time at Francesca's for their happy hour and we absolutely loved our pizza, ravioli and drinks. We sat at the bar and the service we received from Mick was lovely. It was very lowkey at this time, with not a lot of customers but we received our bread, drinks, appetizer and pizza all within reasonable time. The steak on our pizza was perfectly soft and easy to bite into (always a worry when getting steak! LOL) We will definitely be returning!

Caesar Salad with anchovies added

Best staff, wonderful service and amazing food. Happy hour 2 to 5. They have gluten free bread, yummy Cesar salad , and the meatballs are so good. The ribeye is one of the best I've ever had.

Their French decor is modern and chic. We were there last night for the first time, and it will not be our last! Anytime you try a pre-fixe menu, you never know what you'll be served but dish after dish, we were impressed by the beautiful presentations and well balanced dishes. Loved and appreciated the chef's creativity of combining French and Asian flavors into every dish. I also chose a wine pairing option for drinks, and was introduced to a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. Overall, it was a memorable evening with great food and service, and we are looking forward to visiting them again when they change their next season's menu with our friends. (They change their pre-fixe menu three times a year, according to our waiter) Highly recommend it! Cheers to their chef!

The variety was exciting, complex and elegant; my boyfriend and I shared the duck confit, beef tartare, brioche loaf, French loaf, Japanese Caesar salad, beet&passion fruit salad, and for dessert the affogato and cake&cream. Every single thing was the best flavor I've ever had I ordered the house wine flight and let the bartender create an experience that was full of natural, harmonious flavors. My boyfriend ordered some of the cocktails (brandy old fashioned, thee Aegean) which he shared with me, and they were some of the most creative, immersive flavors I've ever had in a drink. I'm so excited to impress my friends by bringing them here :)

The floors were noticeably messy, some might even say gross. There were random spills that clearly had not been wiped up, and even the bathrooms were bad. Should we really be able to see a plunger and a dirty toilet brush while washing our hands? Service-wise, our waitress was nice, but overall it was slow. We waited a long time for our first round of drinks, and when the food finally came out, it was not even hot, which made it even more frustrating. The food itself did not live up to the price. The "tempura" artichoke hearts were basically just heavily breaded and fried, not light or crispy like you would expect or like the menu suggests. The charcuterie board, which was over $50, was kind of shocking. It looked like a random mix of deli meats, basic cheeses, canned fruit, and filler. Nothing felt special or worth the price. It looks amazing, but do not be fooled by what you see around you. You are better off spending $25 at Trader Joe's. The ribeye was wildly underwhelming. If I wanted a steak I could buy at Food 4 Less and grill in the park, I would do it myself. The chicken somehow managed to be even worse, dry and lacking flavor. Lemon and capers, where? Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly executed. Between the cleanliness issues, the long wait, and the disappointing food, it is easy to say it is definitely not worth your time. Check out the Gambling Cowboy instead. This is a no brainer when you read the replies from the owner to any negative feedback. If an establishment feels the need to defend itself in such an unprofessional manner, that tells you everything you need to know about taking your money elsewhere. No ownership, just blame. Nobody is out here writing reviews to ruin your business, you are doing that well enough on your own. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
