Here I am again, I just love this place. This review is for when my mom was in town and we went out with the family. Again, the food was perfection. Service was wonderful, and the bar lounge area nice and peaceful. We all enjoyed our meals thoroughly and will continue to come back here.

This is our go to place when we come to Temecula. We love it and it never disappoint us. Jen is wonderful and a pleasure to speak with. We came this time for Fathers Day. We will definitely come back.

Wow this place is so delicious! First visit was yesterday for Valentine's Day and there was a set menu at $125 per person, we got a welcome glass of champagne and a rose and the whole meal was five courses. We had Samantha as our server and she was great, very friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the server who came over to offer fresh Parmesan cheese and pepper for our food. I ordered a mocktail which was citrusy and fruity very delicious. My husband love his Cabernet wine too. For our starters we chose the ahi tuna and the crab risotto. Both were absolutely delicious, very flavorful and the risotto was warm and you could taste all the fresh ingredients. The salad was included for both is us and in my opinion was the best part of the five courses. The flavors were so beautifully incorporated and they went perfectly together. The chef outdid themselves with this salad. The next course was the raviolis. Both were so good! The lobster option was full of lobster meat and a beautiful sauce. The black truffle ravioli was warm and delicious I just loved it. The main entree of the roasted trumpet mushrooms was pretty good, they were super thick mushrooms almost thick like a steak and the sauces paired pretty well too. The halibut was amazing! Before ever tasting it, I could smell how fresh and clean and well cooked it was & when I ate it omg so good. The final course was the dessert. The best part was the tiramisu in my opinion, the tart was ok and the chocolate mouse was decent. I can't wait to come back in and try other menu items.

What a beautiful Italian restaurant in Temecula. This is my first visit at Gourmet Italia for a Friendsgiving with San Diego Yelpers. There were 12 of us. Thanks Janet T for the lovely evening. Ordered: Spaghetti Amatriciana-Pancetta and onion in a spicy marinara sauce Soda I substitute Pancetta with Chicken. It was charged extra to replace the meat. They served complimentary bread with dipping sauce. The pasta was flavorful and delicious. I added crushed peppers to kick up the knot. Tiramisu was absolutely delicious with a perfect sweetness. Both the owner and server, Jeremy, were super amazing and welcoming! Before heading out for the evening, there was beautiful band playing for the night at the bar area. Highly recommend this place. Perfect spot for any occasions and even for a romantic date. The menu is priced high, but I will definitely come back in the near future.

We were invited by a great friend to try this awesome restaurant. Wow, what a great Italian restaurant. As soon as we stepped inside, we can feel the nice decor and atmosphere. Very elegant and upscale. Please note, this is a very popular restaurant. Reservation is highly recommended for large group. Our server Jeremy was very friendly and welcoming. Made us feel right at home. Great hospitality! There were 11 of us all together. For me, I ordered the following: - Fusilli Calabrese (Chicken, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes in a light tomato cream sauce) As a group we ordered the following to share: - Calamari Fritti w/ Cherry Peppers We end the evening with the: - Tiramisu The Fusilli Calabrese was so good. Loved the mushrooms and the sun-dried tomatoes. The light tomato cream sauce was very tasty. Goes well with the pasta. As for the Calamari Fritti, wow, it was so so good. Our friend said this dish is very good, and she wasn't wrong. Glad we decided to order this item to share. Will definitely get this item again in the future. The Tiramisu was very delicious. Not too sweet. Melt in your mouth. What a great evening! Glad we had the opportunity to try this place. Had a great time and meeting new friends! Thanks Janet for the invite!

I've never been to Italy, but I imagine this is as close as it gets. I can easily say Gourmet Italia is the best Italian restaurant I've been to. The menu is simple and pasta is featured heavily, which only makes every dish that much better. If I lived closer I would make it a goal to try every single offering. The first time my wife and I went there was 20 years ago. At the time, it was a tiny restaurant in a strip mall. While it's still in the strip mall it has expanded, but it's just as busy and just as good as it was 20 years ago. Although we go to Temecula often, it's not easy to get reservations at Gourmet Italia. This past weekend I was lucky to get one. I ended up getting both specials, an amazing butternut squash soup that was perfectly creamy and sweet, as well as a healthy portion of seafood pasta with massive amounts of mussels, clams, squid, and a jumbo prawn. I was so stuffed I didn't even have room for dessert. To be honest, my wife's spaghetti with pancetta may have been the best thing I tasted that night. If you live within an hour of Temecula, or are visiting, you need to make a reservation at Gourmet Italia. I can't wait till my next visit. BTW, 20 years ago the owner made our experience amazing with his enthusiasm and clear love for his restaurant. He still does, with a little less hair on his head, but he is still amazing. He sat us at an awesome table and shook my hand as we left, thanking us, clearly proud of what he provided to us. He should be proud and he deserves nothing but more success.

How the heck have I never written a review for this place before?? I've been coming here for years. One of my favorite places for pasta. My go to is always the seafood pasta. I'm usually a light white or wine sauce pasta girl, but the tomato sauce on there is so good. I'm obsessed with their complimentary olive tapenade & bread. I once tried to order something else & ordered their pasta carbonara. But I thought it was too rich. But I'll always come here for their seafood pasta & their olive tapenade. Service is always great, & we do enjoy the live music sometimes.

Honestly one of best meals we've had in this area. Service was quickly, friendly, and amazing. Our server recommended a blueberry mojito mocktail drink for me and it was delicious! We celebrated having family come to town and our baby announcement. Everyone's plate was tasty and cooked extremely well. My husband and MIL ordered their lobster ravioli (special), my FIL ordered their lasagne, and I ordered their seafood pasta (special) - everything was amazing and cooked perfectly. To share, we had the bruschetta, and it's probably one of the best bruschetta we've ever had. At the end, our server provided us with a complimentary cannoli - she was so sweet and thoughtful. The restaurant is really cozy inside and had different seating areas. Really great for a casual dinner, date night, celebration, etc.

Very nice little place nice atmosphere.

Nice little old traditional Italian place food is really good wine is reasonslble price. Nicole was our waitress she was very nice also mention they have a winery right up the road and other location at Old Town Boutega Italia.

The food was amazing none the less but the reason we will return is the wonderful service provided to us by our server Christina! She was absolutely fantastic! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Fantastic service very romantic atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. I am Italian so I definitely approve of this place and would recommend anyone going to Temecula. Our waitress was Hailey L. She was very attentive, kind and generous an, over-the-top waitress that really did her job and made our night even more enjoyable. The food makes a place great but attentive service that is served makes the food and the establishment attractive to go back to. We had the specials, the seafood Linguini and the lobster ravioli. Both were really tasty and we ended the night when some sort of lemon dessert which was incredible .

Unfortunately I was disappointed with my dining experience. To start, the host was not friendly at all. Whoever she is, she needs to fix her attitude. It's not cute. Second, the food took about 45 minutes...and it was okay. Our waitress was great though and so was the live music.

I HAD THE BEST FISH OF MY LIFE HERE!…read more The photo might not do it justice, but holy moly - I seriously had a life changing moment eating the striped bass here. It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. Overall, I can't believe that fish; I hope to try it again when I revisit the area.

Brunch lasts until 2pm and then from 2pm to 245pm they serve only appetizers. Lmao. Thats certainly interesting. Aesthetically this place is gorgeous. I love that they are dog friendly and it wasnt too hot today at the patio. I got the bloody mary to start and it was pretty good. The bacon in it was amazing, however, it didnt taste like 2 shots. The drink was thick but the flavor was still good. I got avocado toast with smoked salmon. This very small meal was 20$. I got a lox bagel and 4 huge pieces of smoked salmon with capers and a side of avocado a few days ago in Vegas on the strip and that was 16$. Sooooooo... how is this justifiable? Anyways, I also ordered a diet coke and they came out with a mini can. Talk about why this place is called "small" barn. Lol! The server stated the can is super small bc its only 2$. Thats just silly. Just get the bigger can and charge me 3 bucks for it. Thats fair in my humble opinion. 4$ for two mini cans is wonky to me. Alas, these are not the reasons why this place originally got a 2 star from me. It was the tomatoes on my avocado toast. They taste spoiled, old, and mushy. It made my stomach hurt a bit. As for the salmon, it tasted like it smelled, funky. Why i ended up giving this place a 3 instead of 2 stars? Bc their creme brulee was the BEST creme brulee I've ever had. It was so luscious, creamy, and it felt like these are the kinds of desserts GODS eat! It was amazing! My server was friendly and talkative with me up until the end. She said "have a good day" in an oddly, irritated way when I paid with my card. Oh wells. Ill come here for the desserts! And perhaps ill give other things a try

Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Fuhgeddaboudit! But my visit was so memorable that I will never forget about it!…read more Faith (owner) really has something special in Windomar, CA., just off of the Clinton Keith exit of Interstate 15. Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--
