From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Love the concept, love the attempt; but the red wine is served at room temperature and while it has interesting selections nothing we drank was more then basic and serviceable. The food again was trying something different, different than what this area normally does but it fell short of the mark. Not enough seasoning or originality. Did love the sliders though. Service was competent at the bar, the young man was nice but not too knowledgeable about the wines. Again, wish the selection had more premium choices and the reds served at a proper temp. $25 corkage fee. The interior looks gorgeous. You cannot tell you are next to the freeway. Fuhgeddaboudit! But my visit was so memorable that I will never forget about it! Faith (owner) really has something special in Windomar, CA., just off of the Clinton Keith exit of Interstate 15. Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Interestingly named restaurant that is a speakeasy like wine bar that features various types of wines that are NOT from Temecula valley region (that's how the stand out). This is a walk-in only place and we were able to get seated immediately when arriving at 6pm, with 2 tables available, but after 6:30pm, there will be a wait most likely. The plates here are tapas style, so it can be a bit pricy, but quality is there. Shrimp ceviche - fairly delicious, quite standard Short rib sliders - their signature, a bit steep $25 for 4 but it's really really good. My favorite Salmon stack - don't order. Way too salty Tuscan shrimp skillet - very rich and delicious, served with bread Roasted cauliflower - very rich, probably the most filling dish I also got the wine flight which I get to choose a hybrid of red and white wines, and they were presented beautifully in a tower. Service is attentive which is as expected due to the small size of the restaurant, but has a nicer touch to hospitality compared to other restaurants of this caliber. A delightful small wine bar that deserves way more traffic! We found this place while looking for a wine bar, and were surprised to find it also serves food. The inside was decorated for German Oktoberfest, and everyone was dressed up. They had a huge selection of wine and offered some great tasting choices and pairings. They also offered numerous food choices and specials for Oktoberfest. We ordered a few appetizers, a couple glasses of wine, and watched a few clips of the old 80s movies they were showing as well. We went there for appetizer and wine this last Saturday and had a great time. We had the loaded potato skins and is what very different from what you would normally consider potato skins. It was more like a stew with everything mixed together. It was very good though and a good size portion. Leftovers were used in egg burritos the next morning and were great. My friend had been wanting to try this place and I'm so glad we went! I guess they are owned by the same people who own Angelo's pizza in the same parking lot. I loved the atmosphere of this place - low lighting with black booths and tables, excellent for a date night. LOTS and LOTS of wine choices and our server, Megan, let us know that they will be introducing some craft cocktails in the near future. Truly made you forget you're were in Wildomar. Came here for a first date and it was definitely the reason I'm getting a second date. When I found out about this newer wine bar in town I was super excited to try it. My friends and I went for a double date. However, this place does not bring the quality compared to other wine bars in town like Two Travelers. This is for a couple of reasons: 1. The wine list (although extensive) has no local wine options. Being so close to Temecula, you would think they would serve local wines but it was all imported. There is an opportunity here to serve the local wines especially at a time when the wineries are closed (aka nights). We got the wine flights and they tasted like sub par wine. Of course you kind of expect this with a flight. But we were also not informed what the wines were (not told or provided a written list) after being served the flights. 2. We ordered the charcuterie board and were informed that it doesn't come with the cheese (separate boards) but could add the cheese if we'd like. The board consisted of cheese, a few meats, a couple slices of bread and then odd vegetables including pimentos, COLD garlic, whole glass onions, pickles and peppers. It was very odd to say the least. The cheese was the best part of the board so I was very glad we added it. 3. The cost was not worth the value. For the 4 of us with 3 flights, a glass of wine and a charcuterie board we paid $180. I would pay this price if the food and wine were at least good and worth it. The other food items are mostly small plates that seemed over priced as well. We ended up leaving as we knew we could get better quality food at a better value somewhere else. 4. The atmosphere also misses some major marks. Again compared to other wine bars, this place wa tacky. There was a theatrical aspect with a slideshow of the food and photos of guests playing (which does not elevate the quality or expectations), someone was walking around with a camera to take photos of each table, and the scene of "fuhggedaboutit" playing on loop in the bathroom. However, the live piano playing was a nice touch and the guy was a good performer. The only reason I didn't give this place one star was the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We texted to get a table and they made sure to reserve one for us and even followed up to confirm. They are also had a full crowd so other people enjoy this place. It's just not for us. All in all, I think you can Fuhgeddabout this place. read more

The food was AMAZING, very high quality ingredients and very fresh. The prices were reasonable. They have an extensive wine list which includes rare wines. The service and the ambiance were also great. They have live music on certain days which was nice because it was subtle and classy. The owner Faith was very attentive and very nice.
