We're not sure how we ended up over here in this neck of the woods.. But we were sure glad we did. We stepped in just really quickly to taste a little wine The staff members were so friendly. They were having a community event in the parking lot so we were able to meet some really nice people. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the wine is actually very good . We say go give it a try !

Love this area of Murrieta, had never been there before. Lots of different restaurants and cafes in walking distance. There was plenty of parking on a Sunday afternoon. We went specifically for brunch. There were so many families/kids there and big groups. It looks like a barn, with wine tasting inside. You can eat on the patio or inside, we chose inside due to it being a pretty hot day. We were seated right away and got a booth inside. Our server came over a few minutes later and she was very nice. When I read reviews, I saw many people complained about the time to get their food or refills and YES that is absolutely true. There were 2 parties near us that didn't get their food, the entire time we arrived, ordered and also waited. I didn't mind too much, even though the wait is longer than other restaurants we go to. They might not have enough staff in the kitchen. Our server checked on us several times to ask if we needed anything. The food was great, I had a french toast meal that was big enough for two people and we also got the burger with the most delish, thin steak fries. I think its worth the wait for the food and we are def going to return to try more items.

Caesar Salad

Great place! We actually found this place on our gluten free app and it did NOT disappoint! We had a ceasar salad, the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza & the jalapeno pork flatbread pizza with 2 red wines. Super, super delicious! They have a ton of cute events every month and a very affordable wine club. I love the atmosphere and the decor and HOPE, our server, was 11/10! She was handling everything incredibly well, especially considering she was the only one working. There were a good amount of smaller parties and 2 larger parties that were being serviced by her at the same time as us and she did great. Will definitely be coming back!

Went here for a wine tasting event. Outside looks like a red barn, inside has cute rustic decor. We sat at the bar and the server/bartender was very friendly. Food was tasty and the vibes were good.

First of all, I swear all this food wasn't for just me! But I could've prob devour everything myself. Lol. I'm not gonna lie, I forgot all the details of the foods because of all the wine we drank.. oopsies. But I promise you no crumbs were left on these plates. I was addicted to the house fries! They're like skinny steak fries& extra flavorful. We went for an event, so service was kinda spotty. Except for the only server that helped us even when he wasn't assigned to our section. Too bad I didn't get his name, to thank him! :( Try them out, you won't be disappointed!

Great Food & Amazing Service at Wine Ranch Grill & Cellars Came here to celebrate a birthday, and the experience did not disappoint! Our friend is a member, and we were lucky to have Hailey as our server! She was amazing. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, funny, and welcoming. Despite being the only server assisting the bar area, she made us feel like we were chatting with a friend. Now for the food Charcuterie Board, decent wasn't that much of a fan, wish it had more cheese selections. Salmon with Parmesan Risotto - The salmon had a perfect crispy top with a soft, flaky inside. The risotto was creamy and flavorful, well-balanced with the Parmesan. No overpowering fishy taste just delicious! BBQ Sliders - A solid choice! Grilled Chicken Poblano Risotto - The chicken was tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the creamy poblano risotto. My favorite entree, super filling and decent portions Ample seating inside outdoor patio seating. The warm atmosphere and excellent service make this a great spot in Downtown Murrieta. They had background music playing a mix of 90s RnB, classic rock and other classic jams. Will definitely be back!

Og overcooked steak and "stuffed" potato

Ordered 2 "Wagyu" steak dinners, one rib eye and one filet. They were out of filets, so I ordered the New York instead. We both ordered them medium rare. It took *quite awhile* for them to come out, and when they did, they were both definitely overcooked. Our waitress apologized & said they would bring new ones out & over half an hour later, they did. They were slightly less overcooked and came with garlic and lemon on top, leaving us to wonder if the original steaks should've had that on top as well? None of the steaks seemed to actually be Wagyu. They were not tender but they were chewy. By that time our sides were completely cold. The brussel sprouts were definitely tasty and the "stuffed" baked potatoes had no salt, no anything, except for what looked like a slice of cheese melted on top. our waitress was not particularly attentive but was friendly and she did discount our meal, hence the 3 stars. We hadn't been there to eat in a while and felt like this reminded us why.

Mac N Cheese

First time visit here yesterday and was very happy with our meal!!! The 24 oz ribeye was calling us, so we decided to share. The price was a little scary ($110) but the portion was perfect for two people. The steak was delicious, the rosemary, garlic, butter and whatever else they seasoned the steak with was perfect. It came with two sides and we decided on the Mac and cheese (heavenly) and a baked potato with cheese (also incredible). The side of garlic toast was also included. Everything was so yummy Oh! We also tried the bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer and the sauce was SO good. I would recommend this meal to anyone and absolutely want to come back to try more of the menu. Service and ambiance were both nice, they have a big outdoor seating area and the time we went (around 6ish) was perfect for the summer. It had cooled off by then. Very cute downtown area to walk around in also.

This was just a mediocre experience. Started the meal with a bottle of wine. The establishment does offer membership after all. When the waitress brought the bottle and glasses to the table, I expected the bottle to be opened and the first glass to be poured. Nope it was plopped on the table and she walked away. The food was good and the service was okay. Nothing that made me want to rush back. For the price , I would drive somewhere else for a better experience.

Sangría
Fernanda C.

We had another fantastic dinner at Wine Ranch! The stuffed bacon-wrapped dates were perfectly sweet-salty perfection, the Philly cheesesteak was loaded and delicious, and the fried fish tacos had the best crispy batter. Paired it all with a bottle of refreshing sangria. Our waiter, as always, was absolutely fantastic--attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. We love coming here! Highly recommend!

Sadly had a small issue that left me feeling that I don't want to return. That being said I am in the industry. First I have a special place in my heart for Wine ranch. I actually opened the tasting room and restaurant when it was under a different name. I have felt for years they've had an issue being consistent and having prices match their menu and what they charge their guests. We were there for happy hour and the girlfriend ordered the guest Pinot Grigio. I was on their website checking out they're happy hour prices as well as their menu prices. It shows the Pinot Grigio being $10 glass and during happy hour you save $4 a glass. Which obviously means the wine should be $6 glass, which during happy hour for a cheap Pinot Grigio $6 a glass is about right. I received my bill and I noticed I'm charged $9 for the glass. Not a huge deal. I brought it to the attention of the server and he informed me since he's been there it had always been $13 a glass. I showed him on their website it shows $10. He informed me that he'll take it to the manager, but she probably won't do anything about it. He came back a couple minutes later and said okay the manager was going to take care of it. So I look at my bill and it still says $9. He said no she's not going discounted it, she's going to take care of it online. Today I looked online and of course it's still showing $10. Sometimes the littlest things can feel like bigger things to the guest. That day I felt that the server and the manager did not value me as their guest and sadly made me feel like I don't want to return!

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

The open, beautiful space felt like it nourished both the body and soul. We started with the House Focaccia & Whipped Fresh Ricotta, topped with saba reduction, pine nut gremolata, and moon drop grapes. It was absolutely incredible and the perfect way to begin the meal. We also enjoyed the Roasted Potato Purée alongside our dinner, and it was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The dehydrated parsley, fried garlic, and grilled scallion oil elevated a seemingly simple dish into something truly memorable. For our entrée, we both ordered the Braised Brandt Beef Prime Short Rib, served with stokes purple yam purée, bon shimeji mushroom conserve, kohlrabi, and black trumpet demi-glace. The short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender and beautifully prepared. To finish, we enjoyed the Lemon Posset with pickled blueberry compote, lavender chantilly, and English shortbread--light, refreshing, and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. And of course, the espresso martini was a must! The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I took my family of four for brunch, expecting their standard $20 per person rate. Instead, we were hit with a hidden price hike of nearly $40 per person. I saw the $20 advertisement on Facebook but am not on Instagram and that was the only place I found (two days later) the advertisement for the price for Father's Day. To make matters worse, the food quality was awful. Everything tasted like it had been sitting there for hours burning in the pans heated below by gas warmers. The biscuits were rock hard, the slider buns were completely dried out, and the bacon was burnt. The pancakes were stale and hard and the pasta/macaroni salad had been sitting out in an uncooled bowl with no lid. I couldn't even finish a plate because of the poor quality. Paying $160 for four people to eat a meal of this quality was completely unacceptable. I've had much better food McDonald's than this. Had the food quality at least matched the price, I likely never would have left this review. This ruined our family celebration, and although this was the first time we ever tried this place, we will not be returning to here again.
