Laura is an amazing General Manager with true leadership and passion for what she does. My husbands grandma came to visit from Salt Lake City and she came up to our table and was just a true delight to get to know and see her impressive performance. She made us a delicious appetizer called Laura's hot mess and we just felt very lucky to have such service and an experience. Also the new renovations look amazing as I haven't been there in a long time because of some past experiences so this really went above and beyond my expectations and we will be back more frequently to see Laura and her team! Thank you!

My empty plate that was delicious.

This place is the perfect spot for any eating occasion. There food is good across the board. This morning, it's all you can eat brunch that they just started back up, and my goodness it was delicious. I meant to take a picture of my incredibly loaded plate, but instead you get the remains There's fresh fruit, Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, French toast an omelette bar...and our favorite server Kristen

Saddens me that even after a few more recent visits to support a local restaurant, I am still receiving such poor quality of food and service here. I was hoping to highlight some positive changes and a return from Covid to encourage my family to return. Photos will show tonight's fish and chips/bites orders vs. what I received at my last visit in May when I ordered fish and chips and really enjoyed it. But this visit, it was something completely different; not only were they strangely uniformed in shape, but they seemed undercooked and smelled extremely fishy. If I'm not mistaken, there shouldn't be too much of an odor? I was hoping to convince my family to try the Lighthouse again because of my visits last few months with breakfast and a friend's birthday dinner in May. Service had been friendly and pleasant. Service is often friendly, just very slow still, and seemed to have improved, but when we called back tonight to ask about the fish, the management was rude on the phone and bragged he sells "100 orders of these a night without complaint" instead of just listening to what we had to say or ask. The pretzel was dry and overcooked and tough to eat. The cheese dipping sauce was runny and watery my son said. Our meal was about $30 and I'd have chalked it up to money spent on a bad meal, but the phone call adds to our frustration. Very disappointed in the customer service we received as well as the dinner I'd been looking forward to. I have tried giving my business here so many times and it pains me to just avoid returning for the food. Maybe the views and cocktails are great, but I really wish the food would be consistent and a better quality considering the neighborhood.

    Filet medallions - pretty good!

Good place to eat if you can get into canyon lake to try it. The service is a little slow but the food is decent.

Music was awful. Wrong venue for hip hop at happy hour. I suppose the employees put it on. Reveals poor management.

Good luck with that. There's little to no chance of that happening. It's a high energy place. Noisy, hectic, bustling, and it starts before you even get into the building. P n P shares its parking lot with another successful business, a coffee joint. Trying to find parking will be your first challenge. Dutch Brothers Coffee attempts to hijack a drive lane, by putting cones across it, in order route traffic into its take-out lines. Those poor cones, LoL. More than one vehicle has found their way over them. After you crunch a couple, you still have to slot your car somewhere. Go wide and walk. Inside, you'll meet your next hurdle. Trying to think! Expect a decibel level increase. Yep, it's loud. Between the bowling lanes, arcade, and offspring letting loose, the cacophony will move you. We stopped here as part of my husband's birthday celebration, and it became the unexpected highlight of his entire day. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck that perfect balance. Cassy enough to feel special yet welcoming enough that we immediately felt at home. The staff greeted us like regulars even though it was our first visit, taking genuine interest in helping my husband find the perfect birthday cigar. Speaking of cigars, their selection is outstanding. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado or a curious newcomer, they have something for every palate and budget. The staff's knowledge was impressive without being intimidating. They guided us through options with patience and enthusiasm. What really sets Ron'devu apart is the vibe. It's the kind of place where strangers become friends over shared recommendations, where the conversation flows as smoothly as the drinks, and where time seems to slow down in the best possible way. My husband said it was exactly how he wanted to spend his birthday. Relaxed, refined, and surrounded by good people. We'll definitely be back, and not just for special occasions. Highly recommend for date nights, celebrations, or when you just want to treat yourself to an evening of pure class. Pro tip: Even if you're not a cigar person like me, the atmosphere alone is worth the visit. They'll make you feel welcome regardless.

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--
