Really cool spot, has a country feel to it. Dat at the bar, the drinks were good. I ordered their pulled pork fries (10/10) I finished the whole dish. Our bartender was super friendly and attentive.

I had driven by this place so many times and on my birthday this year, I decided to finally go in, with the family, for my birthday dinner. We were seated right away and our waitress was very patient with my husband, who has a hard time choosing lol. I got the Cheezilla burger and holy cow..it was a monster! And in the wise words of our waitress "it's called the CheeZILLA! The monster is implied" haha but it was delicious! The aioli and the fried onions just put it over the top. My husband and both kids also enjoyed their dinners.

Alright first and foremost Trisha K gets a shoutout. My wife and I just moved to Murrieta this summer and haven't really explored much. My family is visiting from out of state and we were tired and just wanted to go somewhere close to the house. We were lucky enough to get an awesome waitress who was attentive, honest with the menu, friendly, actively got dishes out of the way and overall killed it in service. I'm not gonna lie I wasn't expecting the food to be good. I knowwww that sounds so negative. It's just I'm use to the city life and when I moved here the food scene wasn't really the bees knees. Welp, now I found a place my wife and I will be visiting from time to time. The environment even when busy still seems pretty chill even with live music. It's a smaller restaurant and bar but still spacious at your seating area. Food. Food was actually really good. We got 2 appetizers. 1. The double battered chicken. This was out of this worldddddd!!! They are massive. Definitely shareable! They have a kick to them and my wife who is super sensitive to spice powered through 2 of them. Which told me she will be back for more asking for no chili flakes haha. 2. The Buffalo chicken fries. Also very good. What it sounds like it how it tastes. Pretty simple there. Our orders: Tri tip with garlic mash potatoes, Asian Salad, The Hive Burger x 2 one with fries one with onion rings. Everyone thought their food was delicious and flavorful. My dish hands down the best. Tender tri tip cooked exactly how I asked which was medium. With chimichurri on top with a bed of goat cheese and very very tender garlic on the side that is whole. You just slide a clove out and it slips out like butter. I was impressed. The garlic mash potatoes were just like they sound, pretty standard but delicious. I will 100% be back whether it just being me grabbing a drink or with the wife for some food and drinks. I like trying new places but also spending money on food I know will be good and this is definitely a restaurant worth checking out!

Stop in today Laura was our server, she was super friendly and attentive. We love this place it is always consistent with the great quality and good tasting food. Today I had the cheesezilla burger wooooow! What a flavor bomb and that toasted cheese! Fried pickles are one of our favorite appetizers and the drink are super tasty and well put together for a great price as well. Service is always good, food is always good and the restaurant is always a good vibe and well kept. We are huge fans of the Hive!

Came in after work with some friends and we had a bloody Mary and Moscow mule and shared a mini fish and chips. Everything was delicious, the fish was crispy tender and juicy and went great with the tarter sauce. The fries were also so good. The bar tender was great at checking in on us and it was fun to watch him make the drinks in the smoker. Inside wasn't too crowded. We were able to get a seat at the bar quickly. There was music playing and lots of local bar flies making their rounds.

We tried the Hive on a Monday at 2pm. My wife ordered the Hatch Valley Burger with an arugula side salad. She absolutely loved the meal along with the homemade salad dressing and ranch dressing. I ordered the Yorkshire Fish & Chips with homemade tarter sauce. Its a large meal and very satisfying. Im a fish & chips junkie and this meal was one of the best I have had. We also ordered a side of onion rings that were amazing. Our server was Makenzie who was very friendly, professional and great at her job. We will be returning in the future.

Family brought us here for Sunday brunch. Plenty of parking. Nice atmospheres. They have a good variety on the menu. We went when they just opened and there weren't many people there so it took just a little bit longer for them to get the kitchen going in and get our order to us, but when we arrived, everyone was satisfied with their dishes. The food was worth the way. Everything was delicious the one thing at our table that had us all laughing, was sufficient chips. It's like they went out and got a big 5 pound fish and put it on the plate. You really get your moneys worth with this fish and the breading is excellent, nice and crispy served with steak cut chios perfectly salted. I ordered the tri tip Benedict and it was excellent. This place checks all the boxes. Give them a try. Bonus point for serving mocktails.

Great local 'hole in the wall' with consistent great service, staff and food. Try the cauliflower appetizer! Best ever. Crispy and a sauce that's just magical. Burgers are huge, definitely something you could split (but you wont, it's that good). Staff is friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive. Parking is tight, but plentiful, so pull in, have fun, eat well!

Hello, we went a few days ago, this was my first time eating here. We ordered the cauliflower that was very good, the sauce was good I prob coulda used a little extra drizzle of it and more parm cheese, but that's just me. The texture of the cauliflower was perfect, we also got the Tri tip with half onion rings and half fries. The onion rings were very good, the Tri tip was good as well but I wasn't blown away. Definitely worth trying though. We also got the margarita flat bread on happy hour, I'm not sure if it was a fluke thing but we had to send it back, I'm not sure what it was but it an EXTREMELY strong smell almost a super strong cheese smell, and not in a good way =\ but based off the menu it's just mozzarella cheese that's used and that doesn't tend to have a strong scent, so I'm not sure what it was. It tasted as it smelt, just an extremely strong bad scent/flavor. The environment is nice, it was pretty quiet when we went, the service was alright. The server was nice and helpful but my husband had to go up to the bar for our refills she never came by to refill our drink. Again I think it was just a fluke overall visit. Definitely still worth trying the server also took the flat bread off the check, we only had one piece from it & both felt the same regarding the dish

Tri tip and fish & chips. Both delicious!!

We came to The Hive to celebrate my husband's birthday with our kids and grandkids, and it turned out to be a great choice. We were a table of eight, so I made reservations ahead of time, and our table was ready right when we arrived -- which made everything start off smoothly. Service was great from the start -- they took our order right away, and the food came out pretty quickly, which is always appreciated when dining with a larger group and kids. Everything felt smooth and well-paced. We started with a few appetizers, including buffalo wings, fried cauliflower, and truffle fries. All of them were delicious and packed with flavor. The wings were a hit, the fried cauliflower was perfectly crispy, and the truffle fries were hard to stop eating. My husband and I specifically came for the fish and chips, which we decided to share -- and I'm glad we did. The fish is huge. It was more than enough for both of us, and we still ended up taking leftovers home. Crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and definitely worth ordering. They also surprised my husband with churros and ice cream for his birthday, which was such a nice touch and a great way to end the meal. We all ended up sharing the churros and ice cream, and they were absolutely delicious -- the churros were warm, perfectly crispy, and a big hit at the table. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and it was my son's first time here -- he really liked it and already said he'll definitely be back. Great service, tasty food, and a casual vibe. We'll definitely be coming back more often.

    Salmon

I paid $27 for this. Tiny dry salmon. Then instead of getting mash potatoes and asparagus, we asked for asparagus. This was the portion size. COMPLETE rip off.

The food and service here are adequate but the cost is a bit high for the location. 9/14/2024. Yorkshire fish & chips ($26): airy and crispy beer batter with flaky fish, 4/5 stars. Charred Angus Tri Tip ($29): small apperizer portion, cooked nicely but needs more salt. Roasted garlic enhances this dish, 3.5/5 stars. The Cheezilla Burger ($25): massive portion and flavors, but the cheese wasn't fried to a crisp like in the pic. Onion Rings are beer battered with a nice crisp, 4.5/5 stars overall. Bramblerry Funnel Cake ($15): gigantic & vanilla bean ice cream was even better, 4/5 stars. Wud be perfect if batter was crispier. The food took awhile to arrive but it was well worth the wait and we weren't in a hurry anyway.

    Yummy deliciousness

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--

The restaurant is spacious with a cozy atmosphere. I loved the walls adorned with open books and the floral wallpaper. We came to celebrate our anniversary and made a reservation online. Our waitress was proactive and let us know they were out of a couple menu items right as she handed the menu. The drinks were great, and the flavors of the 'Fried Chicken & Curry' were on point. However, the chicken itself was very dry and hard, and the portions were quite small for the price. One disappointment: there was no acknowledgement or special gesture from the staff even though we noted the occasion in our reservation. I'd definitely come back for drinks at the bar, but I'll likely skip it for dinner.

While understaffed I have to start by saying that some of the other reviews just aren't factual and don't explain the full situation at times. Some nights there just isnt enough coverage nights like last friday where there was 50 customers in the bar and Krisrty was literally the only bartender on the floor (one of only two total). She was covering the entire bar by herself -- serving drinks, taking orders, running tabs -- and still doing her absolute best to take care of everyone. Including the birthday party that came in. People need to stop using this platform to tear down hardworking people who are clearly doing everything they can in tough situations. Every customer service business has days where they're short-staffed due to call-outs, sickness, or family emergencies. That's real life. What matters is how the staff handles it -- and she handled it with professionalism, hustle, and a great attitude. I watched her stay calm, keep things moving, and make sure everyone was acknowledged. No one was ignored. She worked nonstop. On top of that, the entire team stepped up. I even saw kitchen staff come out and deliver food orders to help keep things flowing. That says a lot about the kind of team this place has. I've been to Ringside Bar multiple times, and they consistently go above and beyond to take care of their customers and make sure things are done right. One tough night due to being understaffed doesn't define a business -- how they show up during that tough night does. Huge respect to that bartender and the entire team. Hardworking people deserve recognition, not criticism, when they're doing everything they can.
