Seated quickly Greg was a very good server I ordered a full rack of ribs and they came so fast however I asked for them not to be burnt and half of the rack was still soft fall off the bone tender. The other half was dry overcooked and Greg was able to replace half a rack fast. Say what you want about Texas Roadhouse but this place is the bomb! First of all - it's California. Do you know Hard it is to find soup - or chili?!? Their Chili is amazing! Soooo good. The staff. I don't know what TR is like behind the scenes but they seem GENUINELY happy to be here. The boss came over - Robert - and inquired on how each of the staff was (I'm sitting at the bar). Hugged them. Great first time experience at TR. From the managers, the servers and the food, 5 stars from start to finish. We are blown away and haven't seen service like this in forever. Everyone was so attentive. Our server Kendra nailed every step of service and then some. She had an incredible eye for detail and met all our needs. Came here because family members were raving about this place, but I think they were raving about the bread in which I agree. My son and I ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes & gravy and a baked potato. It was good 8/10. My husband and daughter order a ribeye steak medium rare, but they were not impressed. 7/10. I blame this on the fact that we've dined at many top rated steakhouses. But for the price, not bad. The wait was not bad on a Friday night. The food here is amazing! Always so filling and satisfying. One of my top restaurants to come too. Although I'm not of fan of how packed it gets, I can understand because the food is amazing! Decided to beat the crowd and went around 4:00pm. On the way I use the app to join the waitlist for 4 people. When we arrived we were seated within 4 minutes. Alex was our server and she was fantastic! Checked on us many times and took real care of all our needs! I ordered the "Road Kill plate" which was delicious! The fries were hot, the steak Pattie was grilled perfectly and it was covered with grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms. I ordered the iPA beer that was hoppy and ice cold! We wanted steak at a very decent price. You can't go wrong with Texas Roadhouse. You will get a lot of food for low price. Depending on how close you are to the restaurant, I would recommend going online and adding yourself to the waitlist. The warm rolls with that cinnamon butter just melts in your mouth. We got there 10 minutes after opening at 3 pm and the line was so long. Everyone was getting seated and then they came to us and put us on a wait list. I could see open seating and they still did so they told us to wait outside so we wouldn't be in the way. As soon as we got outside the text message came that our table was ready. Go figure. The food was good, but they really try to cycle you through. They brought the check out before we were even finished. Didn't even ask us if we wanted dessert. The portions was small. A few of my chicken tinders were small and weird shaped almost shaped similar to small balls. My brownie was burnt at the bottom and they forgot to give me my ice cream. First time coming here! We waiting an hour and a half to try this restaurant. The staff and sever Audrey were just great! She gave us recommendations since it was our first time! The blooming onion was very tasty and the sauce it comes with is delicious. It's big enough to share with at least 4 people! Ordered the 8oz sirloin medium rare. First steak came out well done so they took it back to make another. The replacement took so long I just got it to go. As soon as I opened it I knew it wasn't even close to 8oz even though I was considering the weight loss from cooking. Should have easily been 6.5 oz after cooking if the raw cut was 8oz. Maybe an ounce doesn't sound like much to some people, but it does to me. That's why I'm dropping a 2 star review. Servers were very nice. Started the night off with an hour and twenty minute wait after being told it was 30/45 minutes. The restaurant was clean for as many people that were there. The host was nice and brought extra bread and butter. Unfortunately our steaks were cooked wrong after waiting over an hour for our food. The waiter was okay and the manager saved the day. First-timer alert! After a whole morning of shopping in Murrieta, I was starving and had to check this place off my list. The closest location to Los Angeles is Corona, so I had to make the stop before heading home. I started with their Cactus Blossom, and it was delicious! The portion was generous and easy to eat, and each strip was fried perfectly. I ordered ranch in addition to the cajan dipping sauce it came with. Both sauces worked well, and it was nice to alternate between the flavors. I ordered their 5 oz grilled Salmon with a Caesar salad and loaded mashed potatoes. The Salmon was cooked well and tasted yummy. The Caesar salad was refreshing, and the mashed potatoes were so creamy! I had an Arnold Palmer to wash it all down. Our server was super friendly and helpful. We are familiar with Texas Roadhouses and have been to plenty. This one was interesting because they didn't let anyone loiter in the lobby while waiting for a table. Not an issue for us. But l will say, it makes a big difference in walking in during busy times. It doesn't feel as suffocating, it's calm. If you have a kiddo or friend who overstimulates easily, this would really help with that. I only note that because the party called before us had a kiddo that was affected and l thought they made it as easy as they were capable of for people who would otherwise have issues. Worked really well so shout out to whoever thought up that idea, and way to think about making it a better experience for everyone involved. Our food was good, came out quickly. Server was good at keeping our drinks refilled and was honestly really talkative (in a good way!) and helpful. That is what stood out most to me from dining here. We stopped by for dinner one evening and really enjoyed the quality of the food. Before we were seated, we did have to wait for about 30 minutes, so it can get pretty busy even on weekday nights. When we were finally seated, our server made sure to check in with us often enough that we were always good. We were also able to ask our server if we could take bread to go, and they did offer a frozen version. It held up pretty well, but nothing beats it fresh from the restaurant. They also offered a bag of peanuts on the side while you wait, helping make things fly by. We decided to order a steak and the roadkill at medium rare, which were both very delicious. It is mostly very busy, so be prepared to wait if you visit during peak hours. I used their App to join the waitlist and waited less than 10 minutes for a table when we arrived this Thursday night (you can also join online). The restaurant has a fun, Texas-themed decor with a full-sized bar and plenty of TVs throughout showing live sports. Food is delicious, especially their hand-cut steaks and made-from-scratch sides. They will start you off with freshly baked bread. Everything is always fresh! I like to start with their 'Fried Pickles'. As meal, I enjoy their 'Sirloin Steak smothered with grilled onions (perfectly tender steak). As sides, Loaded Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Vegetables' accompanied by a $5 'Margarita'. A line has formed at about 10:50 on a Sunday morning before they open at 11:00 am. Fried Catfish 4-piece ($20.99): melt in your mouth fish with a crispy corn meal batter, 4.5/5 stars! The rice was seasoned, as was the chili. 10/20/2024. Country fried chicken with white gravy ($13.99 - Sunday lunch): huge portion, but the batter was tough, the chicken was dry, and the gravy was sweet instead of savory, 2/5 stars. I didn't like that mid service the staff changed and we had to repeat things. We were using free kids meals coupons that they did not honor after the first server said they would. Came to TR tonight to celebrate my mom's birthday. We got put on the wait list before we arrived and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. They crowd the heck out of the inside by the host stand which I didn't like. I felt like I was in the way and kept having to move for people to leave, trying to run food, and clean up. That was probably my only negative. We were sat and greeted immediately by our server Josue. He was awesome. We got drinks and food all super quickly including drinks from the bar which was surprising because it was a packed Friday night.
