6 oz sirloin and sweet potato
Eric F.

This is my second time coming to this Longhorn location. Last time every person at my table had their steaks come out overcooked. I thought maybe it was because there were 5 or 6 of us, and they were a little busy. This time it was just me. My steak was cooked correctly, but it was very tough. It's super disappointing to me too, because this was my favorite steakhouse when I lived in Oklahoma. This location just isn't good for steak. Also, the service was extremely slow on a weekday at lunch time. There was one waitress serving the whole main part of the dining area and outside. It was too much for just her to handle alone. I definitely got thirsty waiting on my drink to get refilled. The main reason I came was for my free birthday dessert though. That was the one thing that didn't disappoint. The chocolate stampede is so delicious. If you haven't had this before, it's worth coming here to get this if you haven't had it before.

We usually grab lunch at the winery when we pick up our wines. However, today we tried something different. Longhorn Steakhouse for the win. I had the 6oz filet & the hubby had the 12oz rib eye. We then shared their strawberry shortcake.... OMG, pure heaven. Service was great and we were seated right away. Great vibes! #DiningWithTheAndersons #TryingNewPlaces #CARNE #Temecula

Strawberry chicken salad lunch.

Updated review: Food is okay. Service is good. The atmosphere has dim lighting but is decorated very western. We had a strawberry salad with a sweet potato side as well as the cheeseburger lunch with baked potato as a side. The strawberry salad was good. For the price of the salad the portion was quite small. I asked for no butter on my sweet potato and to have the butter on the side. They had put the butter on the sweet potato and then took it off the sweet potato and put in a bowl so the potato came with some butter already on it. The sweet potato was extremely overdone and mushy. It was not enjoyable at all. The cheeseburger was ordered cooked medium and came out as medium rare to rare. It had to be sent back and a new burger had to be brought out. The food was good and longhorn is a place you can go to have a quick lunch. I wouldn't put it on my list as most favorite places in town but I would come back again.

Nice restaurant, pretty mid for being it's expensive. One thing I have NP paying, but for quality and great service. Service took forever. We sat down and even when our food arrived we had to ask for dinnerware. We unrolled our utensils and they were dirty. They had bbq sauce all over them. All 3 rolls for the party of 3. We received fresh silverware rolls and once again they were dirty. The manager said they send the dinnerware out to be rolled in napkin just to give to tables/patrons. Steak was good, cooked to order. Sides were also good, really don't like everything ala carte, it's not Ruth Chris or DiMaggios. Have gone a few times since then. It's rare I go. Have been 4 times and not impressed. It is better than Texas Roadhouse, and right at Gambling Cowboy Chophouse in old town. Better than Black Angus.

We stop here every time we go to the wineries in Temecula. We love their steaks and all their fixings. The service is really friendly and the restaurant is clean and very spacious. I'm adding some pictures of the food that we ordered. Everything was delicious.

Desiree was our server. Only 2nd time here at the Temecula restaurant. We received a menu cover with no menu. Sad face. Someone wasn't doing their job. I wanted to really like the bread but it was hard and really dry. Probably reheated. The strawberry pecan salad was really good, but had too much feta cheese for me. Steak was good. Prefer not to have all the added seasoning though.

The general manager and I had a good phone conversation. Explained what happened and she provided a generous compensation for the experience. I look forward to revisiting.

I never thought I would find a hidden gem such this place! First time here! Glad I made a reservation because it gets busy!! Their food quality is amazing compared to the prices! And love the vibe of the restaurant! I will definitely comeback again!

12oz ribeye combo with grilled shrimp and so tender baked potato.

I love this place, from the time you enter you are treated so well! We got here early 11:45, and I am so glad we did, because when we left that place was popping, with a line out the door (worth it). The waiters/waitresses are so friendly and funny! Drinks were never empty (thank you for that) and that's usually a problem for a large group of 13. We were split into two tables but we were back to back so it was perfect. The steaks we ordered were grilled to perfection! I had never been here before and assumed it would be like black angus, or another chain steak house. Well that is not the case.... NOT THE CASE!!! This steak was better than the steak I had at flemmings. I could taste the char on my rare steak and that's what I like to see on a ribeye that's grilled rare! Baked potatoes are usually a disappointment, their either day old warm ups or just overcooked and you see the discoloration near the skin, NOT THESE ONES, these are beautifully coated in a olive oil and salt, then baked to perfection. The insides are soft and fluffy, and don't leave the skins, they're equally tasty. You get two sides, don't waste it on a salad, get their chili, it is outstanding! So packed with meat and bold flavors like a real Texas chili NO BEANS!!! You can't go wrong with anything in this restaurant. I love it, and we will be back, thank you for an amazing lunch, and great customer service!

Stuffed mushrooms were absolutely amazing! All the food tasted amazing! Unfortunately, something I ate on my plate made me sick and gave me the runs. I took home half of my food. After a little recovery I ate my leftovers and it reset me having the runs again. Service was mediocre just the typical order taking and how's the food. Really cute spot for date night. Drinks were delish as well. I'd still come back to try again. Just probably one of those off nights, hopefully :)

7-pepper Sirloin Salad and Shrimp and Lobster Soup

Enjoyed my lunch today. The Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich was good, generous with the chicken. Their 7-pepper Sirloin Salad and Shrimp and Lobster Soup was good as well, and steak were cooked to my liking. Good service, dining room was nice, clean, and quiet, generous with the freshly baked bread and our server came back multiple times to check on us and refilled our drinks.

Came here for dinner for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it looks like a formal steakhouse, but very casual and informal inside. Service was friendly, and the food came out pretty quick. Our steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the sides were delicious. I can see why the locals like this place pro tip upgrade your cocktail to the LP and you'll get almost 3 drinks for two dollars more. You're welcome.

My signature thank you when I love my meal

What attracted me was the Texas Style BBQ and I've read plenty of positive reviews saying the BBQ is legit. Last Saturday on July 4th we made our way to Temecula to dine at the Swing Inn Cafe & BBQ. The town was packed due to a 250th birthday celebration parade. The parade blocked us from getting to the restaurant. We had to wait until it was over which was like 20 minutes. At the hostess station we were advised it would be a 45 minutes wait for a party of 5. The place was busy with customers but the employees did an excellent job in providing great service. 20 minutes later we were seated outside. There were six parties ahead of us but they didn't show when called. Guess they got tired of waiting. I ordered a full rack of the pork spare ribs with smoked beans as my one side. But when I got my food I had an extra side of smoked beans. The ribs were tender, thick and the meat came of the bone easily. It had a nice smokey taste and the smoked beans complimented the meat. I have to admit one of the best spare pork ribs I had in my life. My mom got the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and gravy. The chicken fried steak was seasoned well and very tender. My step dad ordered Large Brisket plate with coleslaw. And my brother and sister in law both got the 2 meat plate with smoked turkey and brisket with sides of macaroni and cheese and smoked beans. The beef brisket and smoke turkey was very good according to my family. For dessert I got the cinnamon roll a popular item, step dad and mom shared a slice of apple pie and my brother got the coconut cream pie. Everything was very sweet and delicious. We were hoping to catch Dean but I figured he was probably spending time with family on this holiday. We will return and hopefully he will be there so we can let him know how much we loved his food and acting.

Her suggestions were spot on and really made my decision easy. I ordered the Rib Tickler and also decided to add their Link & Drink special. I normally wouldn't have ordered the sausage, but I'm so glad I did! It was smoky, juicy, and reminded me of a really good kielbasa. It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal. The onion rings were perfectly crispy, the BBQ was flavorful, and the portions were huge. I only ate about a quarter of my meal before I was completely full, so I'll easily get two or three meals out of it. The restaurant was clean, there was plenty of parking, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. If you're looking for a casual BBQ spot with generous portions, friendly service, and delicious food, Phil's BBQ is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back!

Highly recommend Burnt ends - my all time favorite and hard to get at a true BBQ place as they go fast as true burnt ends are limited. These did not disappoint and were spot on. Brisket - I like moist was real real tender and had a great flavor. We also had a side of the brisket baked beans and those babies were amazing. The service was okay because the gentleman working seemed nice but he appeared to be the only waiter in the whole place and was definitely overwhelmed. The place was wide open and pretty much all outdoors so it's cool for a bar but not great for a dinner date. For some reason, I just never made it back here; probably because the Promenade area isn't usually along our route. Coming here tonight genuinely brightened my day. I had just finished a long shift and a commute, and all I wanted was a good, comforting meal. My nutritionist told me yesterday need to significantly increase my protein intake to help reduce muscle loss related to my autoimmune thyroid condition. KBBQ seemed like the perfect choice; lots of protein without a lot of unnecessary junk. On my way home, I stopped at two other KBBQ restaurants. Apparently, I was unaware of the unspoken rule that some places don't serve parties of one on weekends. One restaurant even had me wait 25 minutes before telling me they wouldn't seat a solo diner during the weekend. Unfortunately, my husband is currently deployed, so being a party of one isn't exactly a choice for me right now! Normally, dining alone doesn't bother me at all, but today it got to me. I was exhausted and simply wanted a comforting meal. Being turned away after waiting 25 minutes just because I by myself was the last thing I needed. When I called this restaurant, the owner or manager immediately answered and was incredibly friendly. He explained that they offer entrée and plate options for guests who aren't doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I honestly don't understand why more restaurants don't offer this. I know the food industry is competitive and businesses have to make money, but having options for solo diners makes such a difference. When I arrived, I received wonderful service right away, and there was no wait, but they were full. The owner or manager recognized me as the person who had called earlier and went out of his way to make me feel welcome since we found out we're from the same area. He even added a little surprise to my order simply out of kindness. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. In an area with no shortage of restaurants, I want to give this place the credit it deserves, not only for the excellent food, but for the heart behind the business. Today, I'm especially grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me. You never know what someone may be going through, and a simple act of thoughtfulness can make a bigger impact than you realize. His kindness truly lifted my spirits after a long and difficult day. I believe this is a small family-owned business, and they absolutely deserve the support of the community. Great food is easy to find; genuine hospitality is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back!
