Such a great spot!! Amazing food, awesome service, great vibes here!! My fiance and I came here on a Wednesday for lunch. We shared the buffalo chicken fries. I got the blue cheese burger and he got the smoked turkey BLTA. Everything was so delicious. Would 1000% recommend!!
Located in what looks like and gives you the old town feels. It's like you're walking up in a ranch. No real service here since you walk up to the counter, order, get a number, and they bring out your food. We ordered cuban sandwich, carne asada fries, and the Blue burger. Everything here was pretty good. The garlic fries came with fresh garlic. The cuban sandwich had tons of flavors. The fried potato chips seemed like they just opened a bag of chips and tossed it on lol but still good. The burger was juicy and I loved the jam on it. It complimented the bleu cheese very well. I was so surprised the carne asada fries were actually good as well. It did need some more guac though. When I went to ask, they said it's not actual guac and just smashed avocados. They charged me $2.50 for a tiny container when they could've just gave it to me or either give me a bigger serving for $2.50!
I came here and read the reviews in their Lobster tacos - so I got excited to try them. Unfortunately the Lobster tacos dry lacked meat and flavor. Very underwhelming and disappointing. The beer was good. Service was good too, just spent a lot in those lobster tacos and was not pleased with the outcome. So maybe will be back for a beer and to chill and talk with friends.
Such an awesome place, location, and food. We stumbled upon Local Provisions on accident. Intending to try a different restaurant. In Temecula for a soccer and 4 hours in between games, I wanted a sit down restaurant where we could spend some time. Where we were going to go had a 20 minute wait. That was too long for me. There were open seats at this other place across the courtyard. Sooooo glad we went elsewhere. To make this long story short, everyone ordered burgers and for some weird reason, I ordered a salad. The Baked apple salad with added blackened salmon was the best salad I've ever had. I was also told by everyone else I was with that the burgers were awesome. Thank you to all the staff there at Local Provisions for being so welcoming, and friendly. Can't wait to go back tomorrow I between games again for the exact same salad.
Local Provisions has an easy, welcoming, slightly country bar feel to it. Sort of back woods-ish, minus the bugs and humidity. LOL Local has lots of beer, both in the Frig and on Tap. Tasty and generously made sandwiches. And since we were here at noon on a Sunday, couple of large TVs tuned to the NFL game of the moment. What's not to like. Four thumbs up from us.
This is a walk-up-and-order kinda place. Seating inside and outside. We ordered the Reuben and the Salmon BLT, both with side salads. Service was friendly and nice. The Reuben was tasty, but a little more meat would have been preferred. As for the salmon BLT, my husband said the salmon was a little fishy and the bacon too salty. Lots of canned beer and about 4 on tap.

The loaded burrito was delicious, just enough heat from the charred jalapeño. My grandson stole my cheesecake again, it's so good! The bottom crust is a delicious brownie with creamy cheesecake on top. I come just for this taste of heaven. Lol but I need to remember to grab more than just one.
The Local has been a part of Vail Headquarters in Temecula for awhile now. They serve up light bites and gastropub food. You walk right in and order at the counter and they bring the food to your picnic table. The staff is friendly and they are dog friendly with bowls of fresh water on the porch. I took my baby girl to get some annual vaccines for her boarding. My pup and I shared a pretzel, the sauces were all mine. Vail HQ has several choices to eat, but The Local was open on a Monday when the food court area was closed. The sandwich was bomb, but the fries could be cooked longer. They were bland and need some seasoning. This place is charming. Small joint but with character. The service is great - food is made to order. I think it's clean and no funky smell
This was my third visit and the food was delicious! Great service provided by Derrick and Sam! They ensured everything was perfect, and their friendly personalities enhanced our dining experience. The place is a little noise, due to the acoustics of the restaurant, but the clientele are very friendly and everyone is polite. Great selection of beers both bottled and on tap, to complement the menu. In addition they offer wine as an option. Thank you Local Provisions.
I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. The whole area around it and outside of it is super cute. Has a cowboy western feel to it. The inside is super casual. You pay at the front, take the number and sit and they bring the food out to you. The one thing l wish they'd change is to have sodas that aren't by the can. They do have a cooler of water and cups near the entrance so that's helpful when your soda runs out and you may not wanna purchase another. My husband said his food was amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was tasty. It did have a huge piece of gristle which was unfortunate. But comes with the territory of pork. Just a bummer with how big it was and it happened to be my first or second bite of the sandwich. The flatbread we ordered for one of our kids was really tasty. But eat it while hot because as soon as it cools, it's not as tasty. My daughter had the $8 pbj sandwich. Their bread for it may be used for their grilled cheese but it should be switched out. The bread is really thick and they have to add soooo much pbj to make the ratio right. It was dripping out of the sandwich and was an utter mess. If they used a thinner bread it would be better and maybe the bread wouldn't be as dry. Also, $8 for a pbj sandwich for kids is kind of absurd. I'm sorry but even if it was better tasting, it still shouldn't be $8. Once we added a side to it, it was well over $11. I just didn't feel the value was there for the money. Overall, it's a cute casual eatery. I probably wouldn't come back but only because I would prefer to try other eateries.
We were in town for a soccer tournament and needed some nourishment for both our players and us parents. We wanted a place with options so we chose local provisions. We arrived with 15-20 folks. The air conditioned indoors was a welcoming environment! What I like is that you order at the counter so that the issue of splitting checks is not there. When we ordered you saw a sign that said this isn't fast food your food is made to order to warn us don't expect your food right away. I was slightly worried because we had a second game in 2 and a half hours but I knew it would be okay. We ordered and sat inside. The staff was kind enough to let us move tables around. Then I'd say within 10 minutes our food orders started coming out. The orders then continued to come out at a very steady pace! We were shocked. Then we were shocked at how DELICIOUS the food was. One by one like a chorus of glee, each person commented on how much they enjoyed their food. The menu was so vast that no one had the same order in the adults and each person loved their food. There was only one hiccup. One of the parents order a canned drink but didn't notice that it was alcoholic. This was in no way the fault of the restaurant as it was obviously beer. The parent didn't complain he just opened it and left it. The waitress who was bussing our area asked him was something wrong if he didn't like it and the dad said, I didn't realize it was alcohol. The waitress walks over with the POS machine asked him is order number found the drink and refunded it to the dads card. She did this completely unprompted and strictly because she felt it was the right thing to do. THAT is how you provide excellent service! Thank you The Local Provisions for your gracious hospitality! I think this place is beautiful inside and with the rustic decor and look, it feels fun! There's a small bar inside with tables. You can also sit outside as well. You can order to go at the bar. I gave this 1 star bc this place did the lobster tacos dirty. I love lobster, but felt after I ate this, I could almost never eat it again. My tacos were mushy, pasty, and had hospital flavor written all over it. It was 18$ of pure hot mess. I wouldn't even eat these even if they were free. Even the presentation looked like it spawned from a hospital cafeteria. Tbh, it looked liked mashed potatoes with a side of broccoli. The only ok thing was the tortilla. You cant mess that up. Its probably bought. I want to try other foods here next time. Maybe that will do it more justice. Maybe fries or something? Something safe and not hard to mess up. I think my review is scathing, but its HONEST. read more

We found The Local Provisions while visiting Temecula for the wildflower season and it was the best lunch surprise of the trip. The pork and carne asada tacos were outstanding -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The Vail Ranch setting is charming, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and it has exactly the kind of relaxed local vibe that's hard to find. This place deserves way more attention than it gets. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area. read more

I wasn't expecting much from the food at a place that's clearly focused on its beer selections, but the lobster tacos were a pleasant surprise! They were served quickly, tasted fresh, and had great flavor. The service was attentive and fast, which made the experience even better. Got to eat outside on the patio, which was quaint. As for the beer, there was an abundance of options to choose from, and I couldn't resist going with Pliny the Elder, which was definitely the right choice! Overall, a great spot for beer lovers with surprisingly solid food to complement the experience. read more

Been meaning to hit this place for a bit, well it happened Friday. It is in Vail headquarters, which is a plus to begin with! Love Vail HQ. Rustic is a great word for the place, just awesomely set up. Front porch dining with picnic tables out back. Small dining room was just right for us. Staff was smiling and awesome! Counter ordering here which suits me just fine. It was busy so it took a couple minutes for our food but well worth the wait. I just love the fact you know your stuff is fresh made. BLTA well executed, Local burger slew but we got the Brussels sprouts and they are fu$&@#%^iing king. These were just so well conceived in the recipe. Bravo ! NEED TO WRITE THIS LAST PART IN CAPS I. HOPE FOR A RESPONSE. They have the BEST RANCH DRESSING I HAVE EVER EATEN. No shit THE BEST! Please have mercy on my soul and private message me the recipe. Best burger I've ever had. Got the local blue. So good. Fresh and flavorful. Delicious meat, sauce, and bun. My fav. Love their atmosphere and ambiance. Staff was nice. Good people. I'll probably be back tomorrow. read more

Kinda disappointed from the last two times I ordered in the last month. I used to love this place but the last few times it's been a bit disappointing. The Cuban recently came with some soggy pita or flat bread instead of a nicer sandwich bread. I ended up sliding it off on my store bought sourdough bread cuz the inside was still good. The pbj burger was excellent but the lobster and mahi tacos have gone downhill. In fact we threw the lobster tacos out. This used to be my fave place in town and it had a better Cuban than the Cuban place in town. Next time specify the bread I guess. read more

Came on a Monday night and it wasn't too busy, so that's always a plus. The server was really nice and she was overall just really pleasant which I enjoy. I don't like fake bubbly or completely disinterested, just real. The drink fridge is pretty cool and a good amount of selections as well. The food took a hot minute to come out but that's just because they make it fresh, which we had no issues with. The food was good just a tad greasy for us but still the flavor was there and that's what it's all about. The ambiance is nice within that little Temecula bubble of restaurants and shops. read more
We finally got around to checking out The Local Provisions on a recent Friday night, and am so glad we did! This great place is located in awesome Vail Headquarters where there's always something going on - this evening was "May Market" night with lots of local vendors, food and kids activities, including the cute little Vail HQ train. While there is some indoor seating, it was a beautiful night so we placed our orders and grabbed a table outside. Hubby enjoyed a Pliny the Elder IPA and I had a NZ Sauv Blanc while we waited. I appreciated the extensive menu with something for everyone (including the little ones) - salads, tacos, sandwiches...but we were there for the burgers after hearing such rave reviews. We both opted for their signature Local Provisions burger with garlic fries and omg, they totally lived up to the hype! Huge burger and so incredibly tasty! They were super busy - obviously word is out on this place. Service was great - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu...starting with the PB&J burger which sounds so unique and delish! read more
Food: I ordered a patty melt with fries & Cuban sandwich with a side of salad to go. I ate 1/2 of the patty melt and it was a lot of juicy deliciousness in my mouth, sooo good! The fries were hot & perfect. Saving the other 1/2 for tomorrow. The Cuban sandwich was for my husband and it looked & smelled incredible. Service: The cashier was very friendly and professional Ambiance; cool, chill vibe. casual & relaxed. Noteworthy: They sell beer & wine, it's a small restaurant with limited seating outside Everything' is freshly made, so it could take longer than a fast food place. If ordering to go, plan on calling 30 - 45 minutes before. My friends and I went on a Friday and it was crowded and it was going to take 45 minutes to get food, so we went to the sandwich/charcuterie shop which was good too, but this place is pretty amazing!
