I have eaten here three times total but today was just not good. Our service was subpar. We had to ask and WAIT for refills *multiple* times. We aren't talking like a minute or two but like 5+ mins each time, and that doesn't even cover the time it took to flag anyone down just to ask for the coffee refill and then having to wait 5+ mins thereafter. It was almost an art form on how all servers avoided eye contact with us when we needed a refill. I actually *never* received any refills on my soda even though I asked a server (not ours as he left for his break and no one checked on us) and he said sure, left us and walked farther away from the drink station. He finally went back and made two to-go cups--for two other people! I ordered a bran muffin--do NOT make the same mistake! The top half was incredibly chewy. The bottom half? Rock hard. They probably microwaved it for too long--yuck. The toast was actually tough to chew as well. I took two bites of my husband's and gave up. Crazy for someone who loves carbs. As we left there was a huge wait and lots of open tables because their help just isn't super helpful. We won't be making a 4th trip. This place needs some serious overhauling. This place is like Murrieta's little hidden gem! Tucked in the corner of the Sierra Vista Plaza off of Los Alamos. Walking in it felt so welcoming and inviting, the staff in the front ready to greet you. We arrived early just before the crowd. The place is more on the small side with plenty of seating but it does get crowded quickly. There is so much to choose from, the menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch. We ordered the French Toast, the Chilaquiles with Carne Asada, Pancake Combo and Menudo. The food was delicious and plates are well portioned, enough to share. The coffee was delicious and our server made sure our drinks were always filled, he definitely got my five stars but I forgot to get his name. (I took the picture of the pancakes just before he refilled my cup) That gives me a reason to go back again and get his name! MODERN & WELL-LIT! This insta-worthy diner has great decor and even better egg-based food. I absolutely loved my country skillet with bacon, green peppers, ham, and more. It's a skillet unlike most with excellent flavor and execution. I wish I could say about the biscuits and gravy (too generic, weird aftertaste). Overall, the food is GREAT and I will be returning to go another round with their skillet menu. Service was meh, I think the waitress could've been a little more attentive and there wasn't a greeting at the door. The kitchen staff were excellent, huge thanks to them for their hard work and dedication. I saw people working the counter and kitchen at a breakneck speed. Bravo! The diner looks smaller on the outside, but it feels very spacious and sizable on the inside. I felt like I had plenty of room to move around. Conveniently located right off the 215 FWY off Los Alamos Rd exit in the 'Sierra Vista Plaza' shopping center near Stater Bros with plenty of parking. For breakfast, I had their 'Mixed Berry Crepes' which consists of 2 Crepes filled with sweet cream cheese, topped with fresh berries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. I upgraded to a combo by adding 2 eggs and 2 bacon. Everything tasted amazing, with that VIP authentic taste I've come to expect. The restaurant is spacious and organized with counter seating available. There's also a few tables outside. This diner offers so many options from All-day breakfast, burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, and dinner plates. My only minor note is that the service was a little slow here, I had to request a coffee refill. Overall, it's a great spot to get a good and satisfying meal. read more

Lacking in flavor, and should have been named hominy soup. Chili verde wet burrito, with sour cream & salsa (extra charge) was also pricey & bland. Tortilla on burrito was hard. (Old). Meatloaf plate left a lot to be desired! Weird flavor. Would I go back? If there was no other choice, MAYBE. Please do better. read more

Placed an order this morning for breakfast to go, ordered their cinnamon revolution French toast. As pictured on their website it looks like regular French toast. What I received looks pretty disappointing. A single piece of French toast with half of a cinnamon roll that I didn't order/wasn't listed as what I was ordering. For $12, you tell me if this was worth it. Who says you can't have Enchiladas for Breakfast! This breakfast choice was perfect for my Mexican craving. It's called, "Huevos a Caballo" you get two eggs on top of cheese enchiladas with a side of beans and choice of second side. I got the hash brown side and it was absolutely delicious! What sealed the deal for me is their special hot salsa. If you like spice don't forget to ask for it on the side. It came with tortilla chips and all the traditional condiments: cabbage, radish, oregano, and red chili peppers. It was so tasty and honestly tasted homemade. I also love that they offer it seven days a week. They also have menudo on the menu, which I'll have to try next time. My husband ordered the French toast plate with eggs, hash browns, ham, bacon, and sausage -- and he absolutely devoured it. He finished most of his plate and still made sure to try my pozole too. Portions are generous and everything came out hot and fresh. Service here is always on point, and the food comes out quickly, which we appreciate. This place definitely gets packed, especially on weekends. We came fairly early, but by the time we left there was already a line out the door. It's clearly a popular local spot in the Murrieta/Temecula area. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid breakfast or brunch spot.
