Bloody Mary with the celery and olives missing. ( My Wife got those)

We decided to go to Brunch on Father's Day at Lady R Bistro around 1:00 pm. The restaurant was pretty busy but we were seated immediately. I ordered the Bloody Mary that is so delicious with a bit of a bite! Just how I like it. Food my main course I had the Short Rib Chilaquiles that were unbelievable! It was som Much that I could finish the meal. The best part was I had plenty to take home for later. I finished my meal with a Chardonnay that was cold and crisp. As we finished, it got pretty busy but the staff handled the influx of customers just fine. The background music flowed with contemporary style rock. You have to check out this 5 Star restaurant. It's the BOMB!

We came on Valentines night without reservations. We had to wait but not very long. They managed to squeeze us in. There is very limited seating and you are close to your neighbors. It really does not matter. The menu is big and we could not choose so we picked several items to share. Service was great! Chef even came out and chatted with everyone. There was an issue At the kitchen so we had to wait for our food. They comp our dessert. Everything we ate was very good. I can tell they have regular customers and now I know why. Will be back here again!

Walking into this restaurant, it feels small, yet cozy and very cute. The staff were very friendly, and the food was yummy! Especially the gnocchi pasta. I think the chilaquiles were okay, but overall a very good experience and can't wait to try more from the menu :)

A diamond in the rough. Shhh! It's a little secret that I want no one to know about!!! Food Amazing! Had the Bolegnese Pasta. Great wine and the vibe so retro!

The service and food here are phenomenal! We have had: chicken and waffles, barbacoa benedicts, short rib, empanadas, elote, plantains, and the chicken and sun dried tomato cream pasta (it's their best seller but I forget the name!). I love how the staff is all very well educated on the menu and we have seen Chris, either the owner and/or manager, every time we go. And he is equally delightful and helpful! The decor is really fun, too! Don't sleep on the toffee bundt cake. It's so delicious!

This place is a hidden gem! We were in Menifee and needed some food. This place was rated very well so far, so we gave it a try. So glad we did. It's so cute inside with cool colors and designs with artistic murals. It is pretty small so if you get here when it's busy, might have to wait a little bit. SERVICE: We were greeted nicely when we entered and were seated quickly. Our server was very nice and checked on us often. FOOD: Very tasty. They have a great selection of food and they serve breakfast all-day! I had the chicken Sammy myself and it was super crispy and tender - YUM! My son tried the Barbacoa Benedict and it was also a hit! Some other pictures below - but recommend this place!!

What a fun little spot in Menifee! Food is delicious and if you get a chance to attend a Paint n Sip, you should definitely go!

3 of us stopped in for dinner for the first time here and it was packed. We didn't know reservations are a must, otherwise you'll wait at the front door like we did for a little while. There was live music at the time and the gal was pretty good jamming to some of our favorite 80's songs. The dining area is not very big but spacious enough to get comfortable. There was wine bottles on display, a bar at the entrance with no stools and probably because they opted for dining tables and chairs right out front. The staff were busy and it did take a little while to get our drink orders in and then waited a bit for food, but again it was a busy Friday night and the place was packed! So the wait was expected. Drinks were good. I had a Cadillac margarita and Michaelada's for the other two. Fish and chips had large portions of cod and it wasn't very tasty but the chips and salsa were made fresh and that was my favorite. Chicken Relleno wasn't very tasty. We figured we should've opted for the pasta as we looked around and saw many orders of pasta passing us by. Next time, for sure!! But I did enjoy the Salmon fish tacos and they were tasty!! Shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and beans and rice were great! There were chunks of salmon stuffed in the mix and it was filling. I would definitely stop by again to try their pastas!

Toffe Bundt cake with Caramel skor bar crumble and vanilla ice cream. Normally comes with crumbled bacon but we asked to hold that

Vibrant and interesting decor! Staff was welcoming and helpful. The menu was appealing and offered items you may have to LA or downtown San Diego to find. What a pleasant surprise to find such a delightful restaurant that isn't a big chain right here in Menifee!

Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambiance: 5 Lady R Bistro is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall -- you might even drive past it -- but once you step inside, it's such a pleasant surprise! The place is colorful, full of personality, and has all the good vibes. The service was excellent -- Chris (who I believe is one of the owners) took care of us and was so friendly and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and love what they do. We ordered two burgers with fries, and both were super tasty and cooked perfectly. We also tried two cocktails which were incredibly good! We finished off with a warm dessert that was the perfect ending to our meal. Overall, this spot checks all the boxes -- great food, fun ambience, and outstanding service. I'd definitely return for the food, vibes, and hospitality. If you're in the area, definitely check it out!

PS: If I could give them 10 Stars, I would because Holly went above and beyond any service you can ever expect. My Hubs and I were driving back from a weekend in San Diego when we found this gem. We dined, had great conversations with staff, other customers and even Dylan, himself! We left, went to a supercharger to charge my car. Got home (35 mins away), before my Hubs realized he left his phone at the restaurant. I remember them saying they closed late. Called. They answered. Holly was still there and had the phone. She literally offered to bring it to us since we were far away but we couldn't put her out the way and Hubs needs his phone to drive his car. Drove back to the restaurant. Got there around 1:17am, Sunday, 06/14/26, and there was her smiling face with my Hubs phone. First off, I really don't understand all the great reviews about his place, they're the reason we visited. The Hostess was awkward and visibly upset when we asked for a booth when she suggested we eat next to a hot window. We were sat at a booth right next to the unisex bathroom and kept getting gusts of stinky poop smell. The ambience is very annoying, it seems as if they are confused about what kind of restaurant they want to be. Is it a Sports Bar? Fancy Mexican Restaurant? Night Club? The menu makes you believe it's a Fancy Mexican Restaurant, all the while the tv's by the bar play sports games and loud annoying music over the sound system makes you believe it's a Sports Bar/Night club. Now the food...the food is awful. The end. (Well, what we ordered anyway) But more specifically, imagine the worst Mexican fast food served on a fancy plate... Soft Drink 1 $5: Sprite: Good Soft Drink 2 $5: Coke: Bad (too syrupy and flat) Bean, Cheese and Rice Burrito $16: Beans tasted old and burnt, rice tasted old and stale (possibly microwaved). The only decent thing was the tortilla. Carne Asada Quesadilla $18: The Meat tasted dry and old, hardly any cheese and tortilla was dry. Rolled Taquitos $15: The only kind of edible dish that was served, still not very good, We were expecting something much different from the original title and description. Taquitos are small, chicken tasted old and the sauce was just canned enchilada sauce. This dish should be called "Mini Taquitos Enchiladas"(to be nice) or "Taquitos Abominación" (to be honest) Seems like they just plated them very nicely as to cover up the mediocre taste. One positive is that the service was amazing, our server (Angelina) was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quick, which in this case, wasn't a good thing. We did mention to our server that the food "wasn't very good" she said we "should've said something earlier" (not sure what that meant) but we still decided to pay the full amount. I wish they could've accommodated a refund or percentage off the check or something. The total amount for everything including Taxes & Tip was $74.77. Very over priced especially for what we've experienced and ultimately not worth it. We will not be returning to this place. It's a shame we hardly finished our plates (we were hungry mind you) except for the taquitos which were somewhat the only edible thing on the table besides the chips, both of which still being not good, including the salsas that were provided. I'm hoping they do some quality control on every item on the menu, They truly need it. You should be ashamed, Tacos & Tequila. P.S. And to top it all off, we both are experiencing stomach issues after consuming their food, I'd say stay away from this place. And for the love of God don't trust the rave reviews!!
