    FAJITAS SUPREMAS (FOR TWO)

Decent Mexican place in Temecula with a good variety of margaritas. Came here for lunch while passing through the area. Food was your average Mexican food but hit the spot since we were hungry from traveling all day.

The food was really good with large portions. Our server was very polite and restaurant was clean with a Mexican village motif. They also had some live music that was also really good. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Ordered the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo. It's a large plate with an even larger serving of food. Also included tortillas, rice and beans. The shrimp were huge and delicious. My only complaint is the shell was still on the shrimp and it was very difficult to remove the shells while the shrimp was warm. I had to ask for a knife and an extra plate for the shells. I ended up only eating 3 of them and taking the rest home. It was just too much work and was not enjoyable. After they cooled off at home, it was easier to remove the shells.

Updated review - just wanted to add a few more photos from my recent visit! I seriously love this spot. Guadalajara never misses. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying - you can tell they put care into everything they serve. Portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable, especially for the quality you're getting. The service has always been friendly and quick, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. It's one of those places you can count on whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a full meal. Definitely one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!

We shared fajitas and they were so good!!

This place was surprising and so good!! The drinks were amazing! The place was packed on a Friday night, bartenders were great and on it when it came to serving drinks. We were sat in 25 mins and had the best waitress and the food was delicious!!

We tried their Taco Tuesday special this week and were so disappointed. The taco shells on the crispy ones were very hard and would break apart with each bite. The texture of the soft taco tortillas was inadequate, needed to be juicier. The potato taco was too mushy and flavorless. Beans and rice not like real homemade. Don't bother with the house margarita, I didn't even finish it. We hadn't been here in a few years and used to like it, but at these prices, no thanks.

Whenever I visit back home this is the first stop we make when we go out to eat. From the hot and fresh chips and salsa to the entrees and the customer service it's unmatched. We chose to sit outside this time and it was so nice as the had a live band and the weather was nice. We ordered a large margarita and fajitas and they were both so good. I'm already counting down when I can come back again!

Good food and music. Outdoor is best seating. Price and quality good. Great seating area to listen to live music outside.

We ended up here after a terrible customer service experience at Landeros in old town. The food and drinks were great.. or server was sweet and helpful. I do feel like they're short staffed so the hostess and server both were distracted and overwhelmed. But they still were polite and helpful and obviously doing their best in spite of the wait time for service. My stars are based on food quality and taste, and effort by our server. We will visit again to get a true rating if staffing issues are improved.

We recently hosted a networking event for Alignable with the Riverside County Alliance March 18th 2026, and Peter (General Manager) along with his team did an outstanding job. From start to finish, they made sure every guest felt comfortable, orders were handled quickly, and the follow-up throughout the event was impressive. The food was freshly prepared, hot, and absolutely delicious. This was a great experience all around. We're looking forward to hosting future events here and coming back with friends and family as well. Thank you, Peter and team!

The service was super awesome but the food sucked and had a continuous aftertaste and feel of grease that didn't really go away at all, it came super hot but got cold superr quickly and was soggy and felt like i was eating food that had been chewed already and put on a plate with a TON of cheese, the only think i liked was the Dr Pepper, ambiance was super nice and good music was played but nobody wants to pay to sit and eat poorly made food and listen to music you can barely hear. I've had better at a school cafeteria.

I kept driving by and seeing a full parking lot, so I decided to check it out with my mom since she had been craving Mexican food. There was no one at the host stand when we arrived, so it took a bit to get seated. However, our server, Kat, was super friendly and personable. Yummy chips and salsa seem to be included with the meal. The portion size was substantial, and the chicken flautas were delicious. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and a bean and cheese burrito covered in red sauce but will be eating them tomorrow because we were only able to get through the flautas. We are still full as I type this an hour later. There were a couple of hiccups in getting our order right, but Kat kindly fixed everything. I would gladly return, particularly with people who have big appetites and would love to take advantage of their happy hour.

Do you have ground beef tacos? I have my Midwest family in town and that's what they are used to.

Yes! They are called their "crispy tacos". I believe they have a special on those specific tacos on Tuesdays as well.

Can you post an updated happy hour menu?

    Do they offer adobada tacos?

I don't recall seeing that on the menu

Does anyone know if they take reservations? Or is it just for a certain number of parties like 6 and over etc?

    No reservations

Do you still have weekly specials?

Yes they do! Even if you order what's on the regular menu it's very affordable.

    Is there mariachi Sunday nights?

Mariachi is Friday and Saturday nights.

    What time is happy hour?

    Sun-Thurs from 3-7:00 pm

How far in advance would you recommend making a reservation for a rehearsal dinner, for 26-30 people for April 23,2020?

A 4-6 weeks in advance would be safe.

    Does this place have micheladas?

    Absolutely!

Do you serve large parties (20-30 guests) like a rehearsal dinner inside your restaurant?

    Yes

Do you serve pitchers of margaritas?

    Yes

We arrived early on a Friday evening, and thankfully it wasn't crowded. Since they don't take reservations, getting there early is definitely the way to go. We ordered the Dealer's Choice, which was refreshing, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also tried one of their stronger signature cocktails, and they definitely don't hold back -- there's a reason they limit those drinks to two per person! Both drinks were creative and well-crafted. The bartenders clearly know their craft, and the drink presentation was outstanding. Service was good, although not especially memorable, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. One thing that would make the experience even more immersive would be if the entire staff wore cowboy attire to match the Old West theme. With the speakeasy setting and vintage decor, it would add a fun touch and make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, Twain Speakeasy offers excellent cocktails, good music, and a unique atmosphere. I would definitely come back again, and my recommendation is to arrive early since reservations aren't available and I can see this place filling up quickly on busy nights.

I was here a few weeks ago and although I like the layout and look of the place, it was too busy to get a beer and a seat, 2 of my regular needs in a bar. Garth suggested I come back sometime and that Rod Run caught them off guard that day, so yesterday when my buddy suggested quail I said you bet! It was just like mama bears bed in goldilocks, just right. 2 seats at the bar, attentive bartender a serious beer cooler, taps so cool they have no names, and and ultra bright micro kitchen serving up some good looking grub perfect for this local just off Front street. I met Travis and of course we talked about Garth and how these two brilliant dudes put all this together. Exceptional venue and wether you plan to come just once or twice, or to be a cool regular like last night's crowd, just come.

OK, so it's been a minute. I came back tonight and I am so glad that I did, brought my buddy Jim. ***Well, this joint is H I P! Thursday night and a good crowd. I get the feeling that they're mostly "regulars" and I can see why. The environment is splendid and the service is top-notch. The World Cup was on, and the crowd was a little jazzed up which made the place rather lively. I have a hard time with the sport since 30,000.000 - 8 year olds play it in North Dakota alone! It just seems a bit pedestrian. There's a couple of food items on the menu that I think are attractive but I was already well fed so I had a pickle spear which was very garlicky and delicious. My beer choice was one of my favorite local makers in this region "PURE PROJECT". Man, this was good: "NEVERENDING WEEKEND" a murky IPA: Aroma: A tropical punch of mango, peach, and bright lime zest. Taste Profile: Lush, sweet notes of pineapple and coconut lead the sip, followed by a crisp and zesty navel orange finish. Mouthfeel: It offers a medium body with a highly drinkable, "juicy" feel. My beer buddy, and good neighbor opted for the "BOCK AMBER" and one of the best values-only 5$ ! THE TASTE IS SLIGHTLY SWEET WITH NOTES OF ROASTED NUTS AND CARAMEL. LIGHTLY HOPPED, THIS AMBER LAGER GOES DOWN SMOOTH. Travis was our kind expert server tonight and also apparently one of the owners. From what I gather Travis and Garth are the proprietors of this fine well executed establishment. Sort of sounds like a country and western duo. But actually, now that I think about it, I'm not certain they aren't? We had a nice chat and Travis was very gracious and told us the intriguing story about how they came up with the name "QUAIL" so be sure to ask, I can only assume he'll indulge you as well. The back room changes from time to time depending on what art show is up. It's a very cozy comfortable spot and nicely decorated. The entire concept is brilliant, right down to the "merch" for sale and expertly curated interior design. This is an elevated scene for Temecula. I'm digging it big-time. I wonder if they ever have a DJ spinning in there or a jazz trio in the back room or something, that would be pretty groovy. Thank you "QUAIL" for the great service, excellent beer and the terrific facility. Best of luck. See you soon. ***FYI: credit goes to "Tower of Power" for the opening lyric on this review!
