The restaurant is great, love the vibe, and the separation between the seat down area and the bar area. Our server last night was very tentative to ours needs and assisted with suggestions. She had a nice accent and she probably could have got us to buy anything, to tell you the truth. The food was good. I liked the light, crispy, and flakiness of the taquitos. The oxtail was sweet, which I did not expect. The churros were brown on the outside and not cooked on the inside, which was disappointing to us. The Birria which was fun to build it, but was a little bland. But the plate was finished. We spent about $85 for these things and an iced tea. I feel like this place doesn't get as much movement as the other restaurants cause it's the furthest from the gaming area. But gets a lot of service when there are conventions or events because it's on that side of the resort. If you have a chance, try it out.
I came here because I had a conference nearby and I didn't want to eat conference food. My friends had already ordered ceviche and chips and salsa were at the table. I also got myself a prickly pear margarita, which to me, wasn't the greatest. I had a few sips and that was about it. The ceviche was nicely plated but could've used some additional seasoning. Although fresh, it was quite bland to me. It was served with ample amount of tostadas. I had the pozole, which had some meat but a lot of hominy. It comes with a side of tortillas. It had more flavor than the ceviche but I would've liked to see more toppings on it with more meat. Service was pretty good, we were regularly checked up on. The ambiance is as you would see in a typical casino restaurant, it's open with TVs to watch sports.
On our last day at Pechanga, we decided to grab something to eat at 1882 before heading back home. Once we arrived the hostess sat us in the bar area so I could watch the game while grubbing! The restaurant was clean, spacious with two sections (a dinning area and bar area) and it wasn't too busy so the service was pretty quick. We started with complimentary chips and salsa and the oxtail empanadas and they were delicious! They were so good we ordered another round of them. I ordered a carne asada and chicken taco with rice and beans, which were very good. The tortillas tasted like they were freshly made in house but when I asked they said they get them elsewhere but they are very good. My kids got a been burrito and the chicken tacos. My oldest wasn't a fan of the burrito and only wanted the oxtail empanadas, while my youngest enjoyed his chicken tacos. My wife ordered cheese enchiladas and enjoyed hers. Lastly the Jamaica was fresh and if I recall they do make that in-house. They wasn't free refills but it was so good, we had a second round of that as well. Overall, 1882 was solid and we will eat there the next time we're back. I recommend checking it out if ever at Pechanga and craving some Mexican food. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros
Another great experience. Lately, many restaurants have dropped the ball on service, but not here. Drinks never empty, chips always full, delicious salsa (at no charge with meal) and friendly staff. Fish tacos are on point, very generous serving. One on the best mexican rice sides I've had as well. Taquitos (chicken) top notch. Big ol' burritos for the fans too! All servings are enough to fill even the hungriest diners! Stop by, grab a beverage, enjoy chips and salsa and a great meal.
Ambiance is contemporary and an open spacious feel. Chips and salsa was tasty and generous portion. Ordered the Cheese Enchiladas combination plate and Oxtail Empanadas. The enchiladas came out barely warm and sent back for correction. They were very gracious and apologetic about it. It came back fresh and hot as it should be. The Oxtail Empanadas were of appetizer portion, with 4 pieces. They were mediocre, wouldn't order again. Service was excellent and the best part of the evening along with the large beer on tap.
Pechanga actually has a decent Mexican restaurant and I suggest you try it. I love their fajitas, it's my go too. It's not greasy and it's full of meat. The service was absolutely amazing tonight. Our waitress was on point and I adored her sharing details about the menu. The ambiance is casual and I like the setting.
Most of the time I visit Pechanga, it's not for the food. Actually, that's pretty much all the time. While on our stay at the hotel, we were debating where to go for dinner, as there were quite a few options available in the area. While the food is a bit on the pricier side, there is good taste and quality. 1882 Cantina is thankfully located in the hotel lobby hall, near the gift shops, away from the hustle and bustle of the casino. It's great that Pechanga is a majority smoke-free casino, as many of the restaurants at Pechanga don't have full-wall partitions, so you can actually enjoy the flavor of the food itself. That being said, it gets cold in the lobby, and in the restaurant. The vents felt like they were on full blast and centered directly on me. Something to keep in mind. Salsa and chips are served, salsa isn't too spicy, but nothing to write home about. for appetizers, we chose their oxtail empanadas and the taquitos. While I'm not fond of empanadas, everyone else liked the flavor. The taquitos though, were very good. the toppings complemented the dish very well, and the portion size felt just right. The carnitas plate was full of flavor. The meat was nice and juicy, not dry, and the rice and beans didn't taste like paste...like some establishments serve. I really liked the beer battered fish tacos - mahi mahi. The filets were nice and meaty and everything within the taco meshed together well. We rounded out dessert with an order of their churros, 6 pieces with three different dipping sauces. Occasionally they have live musicians perform, so you may struggle to have a conversation over the noise.

Checked out 1882 Cantina before heading to a few wineries in the area, a great stop for filling tacos and margaritas! They have a nice selection of tacos. We had the carne asada street tacos, chicken tacos, fish tacos, and taquitos. The tacos were served with frijoles refritos and Mexican rice, very generous plates. The tequila lime vegetables with citrus chili butter, fine herbs, and seasonal veggies were actually the highlight of our group. Fresh, zesty, and perfectly cooked. Order them! Everything was flavorful and came out hot. The complimentary chips and salsa were also delicious and filling, the chips were warm, and the salsa was fresh and vibrant. The margaritas were tasty, and so was the Paloma. Service was friendly, quick, and consistent, even though it was pretty busy. Our server offered excellent recommendations, which we appreciated. Reservations are encouraged; even with one, we waited a bit, but it was well worth it. We enjoyed a relaxed lunch and never felt rushed. It's casual, and the relaxed atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. The restaurant is one of many at Pechanga Resort Casino, tucked inside the resort's atrium near hotel registration and close to the resort tower entrance, very convenient if you're staying on the property.
Came here directly after a concert next door and was seated right away. The service was excellent as they constant checked up on us. The chips provided were an excellent snack while waiting for our meal. They had a live band playing and was very pleasant to listen to. It was an enjoyable experience after a long concert.
This restaurant is located in the Pechanga Casino. Parking is plentiful in the garage. The hotel has a Las Vegas vibe. It is a non-smoking hotel. The restaurant has an upbeat atmosphere. All servers were attentive. The bar makes delicious drinks and cocktails. The complimentary chips and salsa were great. I ordered the chicken fajitas. It was amazing. It was the best chicken fajitas. I highly recommend dining here. It's a very busy restaurant and worth the wait. read more

1882 is located on the first floor in Pechanga resort. We are here since we had a room and it was pretty good. The service was too notch and the food was good (not great). read more

The staff is extremely kind and helpful! I absolutely loved the decor and lighting of the restaurant it's perfect for any meal. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass Veracruz and a Mangonada Mocktail. The mangonada mocktail is refreshing and has the perfect amount of tajin blended in; i did put the big stick in as well. For the sea bass i was extremely impressed with its preparation, it's got a smoked flavor and is served on top of a banana leaf. The flavor of being smoked was delicious and was throughout the veg and potatoes. Definitely a great restaurant to check out!! read more
THE BEST KEPT SECRET in town! This is truly a hidden gem for BREAKFAST!!! Let me tell you why... FIRST OF ALL: NO WAIT at around 10am on a Saturday morning!!! SERVICE: A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you Ashley for being so lovely and cheerful. She makes you feel right at home and even made me feel like I was at Disneyland. CHIPOTLE EGGS BENEDICT: 10/10 recommended by Ashley! The sauce was amazing!! It was big enough for me and my hubby to share. SIDE OF HASH BROWNS: It was undercooked so we asked for another one and it came out great! They were very nice and accommodating! You get GREAT FOOD, GREAT AMBIANCE & SERVICE!!! If you're at the Pechanga Casino in Temecula, and you want great Mexican, then head to El Taco Bar (off property), however, if you're not looking to head out and want to sit down and have some good Mexican, then this Cantina away from the dinging and donging of the casino fits the bill. The service was pretty good with lots of chips/salsa refills and the same with drinks. They have a cocktail menu and it doesn't have a "normal" margarita. C'mon guys... quit trying to be too trendy and just give the people what they want... Every Mexican restaurant needs a "house" margarita. I had to ask for one and honestly, it wasn't that great. I had the pozole for an appetizer and yowza, it was one of the best pozoles I ever had and came with a fixin's plate with spices, cilantro, onions, limes, and cabbage so you can decorate your soup and make it pretty. It was $9 and may be the best value on property! The Surf and Turf burrito was gigantic and had red and green sauce and looked absolutely beautiful. It was a very generous portion and I couldn't fit the entire thing inside me. This burrito was pretty good but really lacked shrimp (I think I had 3 or 4 shrimp). The steak wasn't very plentiful either. The flavors were good though. read more

The food was superb - even for a casino. We will definitely go back. The service was great, other than it seemed like they were a bit shorthanded for how busy the joint was and we had to wait a bit to get drinks and refills. It was a little loud...again casino so it's expected. They could've somehow sound proofed the location a bit more or maybe separated this restaurant a little bit further away from the casino to make it a tad quieter. Overall - hubby and I were fans and we will be back and will recommend others. read more

I came here with my husband, sister, brother in law mom and the kids. My sister loves this place and she comes often to this restaurant and she enjoys it. My first time here however with my mom and husband. I think food was good however there was a lot of confusion with our server and what food they can and can't make. She brought the asada fries however in a nachos form when we specifically had asked for the fries. They I was taking back for remake and so wasn't done the same way. It was done in a smaller plate which was frustrating bc we had to wait to remake the food. The dessert churros were super good though. Will return however expect better service. read more
This restaurant is in the Pechanga Casino in Temecula. It is spacious, clean, and very aesthetically pleasing. We didn't have a reservation but didn't have to wait. Yay! My GFs and I ate here before a concert, and the food and drinks were really good! They start you off with chips and salsa which was a crowd favorite! I ordered the steak fajitas and a mango margarita which was absolutely delicious I had to get another one!!! The fajitas came out sizzling and not only smelled good, it was tasty! Our server was a sweetheart, very attentive and professional. I would most definitely return to this restaurant! read more
1-2025: We made reservations so we were seated quickly. Perusing the menu we realized they changed it and not for the better. They no longer offered combination plates & the selection was curtailed so there wasn't much of a choice. My five chicken taquitos cost $17. And that is all I got. It was okay. My husband enjoyed his carne asada taco plate. I wanted a margarita but at $18 I thought it too pricey. It's still beautifully decorated with subdued lighting and very clean. We enjoyed great customer service from our server, whom we had before. We may or may not return. read more
Food here is good considering it's a casino restaurant, so don't expect top notch quality. All the dishes had good flavors. We ordered shrimp ceviche, tuna ceviche, and chicken taquitos to start and they were all delicious. For main dishes, we ordered salmon entree and fajita with steak and chicken. Salmon was tender and moist with a flavorful citrus tomato sauce while fajita was hearty and tasty. My only callouts would be I wish the shrimp ceviche had more shrimp and less tomatoes and margaritas were made fresh instead of using a premix. Ambience is kind of moderate upscale. Keep in mind this is located instead Pechanga casino so don't expect much. It's a good restaurant to eat at and then go play at the casino. Service was friendly and chill. Our waiter was attentive and orders came out with good timing and pace. The place wasn't packed so that may have helped. Price was pretty reasonable and not too costly while portions were good sizes. I've been here a couple of times and it's pretty much my go-to restaurant when I feel like eating Mexican food at Pechanga. read more

We went to 1882 Cantinas for the Dinner and Laughs. This came with a fixed menu offering a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. We tried mangonada alcoholic drink and it was delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa, enchiladas (salsa verde) and birria were so good. It was a lot of food so we weren't able to finish it. The service was excellent. Our server also allowed us to swap the chocolate cake from the fixed menu to a chocolate truffle which was really delicious. This restaurant is inside the casino and not too large inside but ambience was classy. I am from SD and picky with food so would definitely go again. read more

Father's Day at Pechanga wasn't bad. We stopped and had breakfast at 1882 Cantina. The restaurant was very clean, the service was great! 5 stars would have been given if the pork in the pozole wasn't so dry. The plantains with crema were great, as well as the mixed fruit bowl with Chamoy and Tarjin. The fruit was fresh and the portion size large enough to share. The pancakes were good, the steak and eggs were as well. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a huge plus! Our server Carla was very pleasant and polite. read more
I fell in love here! With the food of course! Stayed here for the weekend and the SO was in bed all day so I decided to take myself to go eat, best decision ever! Located between check in and the other tower is 1882. Nice and clean open concept with a fun ambiance. I was seated and taken care of by Ashley. I had the blue fin toro tostada, lobster and crab esquite, and surf and turf burrito. I really wanted oxtail empanadas but it was sold out, I assume really popular. I think place is quicker than Pechanga Cafe also. But let me tell you, the bluefin tostada was amazing! I thought I was going to need wasabi and soy sauce, but not at all, it paired well with the sauce and presented very nicely. Lobster and crab esquite is to die for!!! I don't know what all that unhealthy stuff is, but I was hooked!!! The burrito was for my SO, I was going to order it to go but decided I wanted to have a bite, it's huge!!! Definitely share. It also comes with the sauces on top, like a wet burrito, next time I will get it with salsas on side... I will definitely be back to try more dishes here! P.S. The food is great at the Cantina. We ordered pazole, shrimp ceviche, and a shrimp and carne asada burrito. It was all tasty and good quality. The corn tortillas almost tasted homemade. Also my daughter ordered a Pinacolada. It came in the larger size and had a healthy amount of alcohol. My wife had to help her drink it. Everything was well worth the money. Also the prices are reasonable. Our server was Daisy, I think. She was very friendly and helped us order our meal. The decor was cozy and the music was festive. We will definitely come here again. read more

Love this place!!! Drinks are spot on, food is Uber tasty, (try the surf and turf burrito, it's huge and effing tasty). Pozole is off the chain and service is always extremely friendly but, can be a tad slow in times of extreme crowdedness. Just a comment, definitely not a negative. Only negative (if there were one), would be it's not very private, as it resides right along the walkway to the resort tower. Personally, I have a stiffy against people checking out me and / or the wifey while grubbing. But that fades fast after a couple margaritas and / or Modelos. Prices are reasonable and there is musical entertainment in the evening hours. Like this jam over Kelsey's for sure... read more
Lately when my husband and I spent the night at Pechanga Casino.1882 Cantina has become my favorite place for brunch.We haven't try dinner yet but we will. Food : Quality was good.We had taquitos,tacos and nachos.They are all good.Fresh tortilla chips with salsa as a starter never disappointed as well. Service : They are nice,Polite and take good care of us,So no complain. Vibe : It's like modern cantina and it's pretty open to the casino and we love that. Are we coming back to this place?
