I came here for lunch on my actual birthday and had a nice time here. We had reservations and got the afternoon tea and did the caviar add-on. I recommend getting this since I like to have more savory items. For the tea, I chose the strawberry rhubarb. The afternoon tea comes with a three tiered pastry and tea sandwich tower. We got honey tea cake, mango yuzu cream puff, strawberries & chocolate shortbread cookie, savory herb scone, hokkaido cheese tart, assorted seasonal fruit, radish + herb cheese tea sandwich, curry chicken salad sandwich, egg salad tea sandwich and our choice of a large pot of tea. There were a few cute spots to take photos and some ladies even complimented me on my outfit! I also got a surprise birthday scoop of ice cream! It was definitely a great start of my day!
This place truly is MAGICAL From the whimsy interior design, to the presentation, to the uniquely crafted cocktails, to the incredible dishes bursting with flavor. I have been here at least 4-5 times and it's always consistent. The service is fantastic. Each time, I try to order something new and the staff always seem to know exactly what I'm craving even when I don't know what I want. I adore the way they describe how your pretty little drink is made. It's insane how much detail and time goes into making them. And I haven't tasted one thing I didn't like. The tomato tini is one of the most interesting, best martinis I've ever had. And the Elise.... If you like egg white and sweet drinks, this is a must try.
Corbeaux has parking in front as well as across in a spacious parking garage. The ambiance is fancy on the inside and out. I came here with friends. We had a large party and the service was great. I felt the price for the tea was quite high so I chose to order separately. I got the vegetable quiche which was good 5/5. I just wished there was more of it. Their charcuterie board was good but nothing special. Again prices were high. This place is great for a special occasion but probably not a place I would frequent often.
Food was okay. Mainly visited for the caviar. However, the waiter (skinny, bald, middle aged) insulted me and my wife when I asked her what something meant on the menu (which was in French). The waiter scoffed and asked "how would she know?" My wife speaks 3 languages (and is fluent in French) but I think that because we're black, he assumed she didn't (I speak two myself)? He came back to the table later on and said that he visited France a few years ago and only picked up a few phrases...which he then began to recite and of course my wife felt like she had to translate them to prove herself (which she did). It definitely made for an uncomfortable experience tho. It's a cute location and the only place I've found in the area with caviar. I don't feel comfortable visiting again.
Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambiance: 5 I have had Corbeaux Wine & Tea House on my Yelp list for a while and I am so glad I finally got to try it. This time was extra fun because I went with a group of ladies. Upon entering, it really feels like you are whisked away to another country, almost like a Parisian café with a modern meets old world vibe. I really enjoyed the ambiance. It is beautiful, cozy, and very aesthetic. We ordered a couple of tea towers along with items from the menu including the charcuterie board, and I personally ordered the short rib and eggs. The tea tower came with a variety of savory and sweet bites along with hot tea. To be honest, it did not quite blow me away. It was very cute and visually pleasing, but nothing really stood out. I have been to a few tea experiences before and this one just did not stand out compared to others. That said, the charcuterie board was very delicious and came with a good variety. The short rib and eggs entrée I ordered was actually really enjoyable. The short rib was flavorful, moist, and very tender. I would definitely order that again. Considering we were a larger group, I thought our waitress did a great job. She was patient, friendly, efficient, and handled everything really well. I would absolutely come back to try their dinner menu. It looks not only beautiful but also really delicious. Highly recommend this spot for a cute date night or a nice outing with friends. It is such a gem in Old Town Temecula. I cannot wait to return!

The staff are consistently kind and attentive, which makes every visit feel special. The overall experience is simply enjoyable and refined, with a vibe that's both sophisticated and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite places to unwind and enjoy good company.
A Hidden Gem in Temecula! We had the most lovely Easter brunch here. Don't let the exterior fool you once you step inside and head downstairs, the space opens up into a gorgeous, spacious, and adorable setting. We shared the Afternoon Tea Tower for two, and it was exceptional. Every bite was delicious and surprisingly filling. My favorite was the matcha blueberry cream puff. Everything paired so well with our large pot of German chocolate cake black tea, and the value for the price is honestly unmatched. The service really elevated the experience. Bobby was awesome! While they are primarily a wine and tea house, they went above and beyond to satisfy our caffeine cravings. They made us an espresso and an off-menu espresso martini that was so good it deserves a permanent spot on the menu! I'm so impressed to find a spot of this caliber in Temecula. We'll definitely be back for wine tasting and dinner soon!
Made a reservation for a party of 9 on a Sunday afternoon for a Yelp Elite UYE Tea Experience. $69 per TEA TOWER. It was most of our first time here and saw an ad appear on IG so it looked inviting enough... ORDERED: 3 TEA TOWERS, a Charcuterie board, 2 short ribs and eggs, 2 veggie quiche and a separate tea pot. We asked for the bill to be split in 4. We were automatically charged 20% tip. We were also reminded that we only have 2 hours to enjoy this experience. Yet, more than half the restaurant was EMPTY... SERVICE: B+ Good. We did feel a bit RUSHED to order and to be done within 2 hours. Afterall, we are high paying customers and this was not an ALL YOU CAN EAT KBBq or buffet experience!!! I guess they can play hard to get since they are the only TEA EXPERIENCE in town. The other ladies have also mentioned a few TEA EXPERIENCES available in San Diego as well. We will have to check that out as well. AMBIANCE: Nice French cottage style setting with a bar. The lighting was a bit dark at our table. Most of the staff were friendly and nice... We love to support local business and we will be going to the LADIES SPRING TEA PARTY at the Elks in a couple months so this was a nice warm up to the event... I really enjoyed the white pair tea, the curry chicken sandwich and the veggie quiche! Keep it up Corbeaux Wine & Tea House!!!
Thanks to our UCM, Janet, for organizing this fun & enjoyable Galentine's Day Tea for 9 YE friends. She selected this spot & generously provided gift bags along with raffle prizes. Love the design aesthetic, which was nicely done and had a Victorian vibe, very stylish. The interior isn't very spacious so it was understandable that we were placed on limited time--approximately 2 hours. This way they can accommodate more customers. Some of the ladies felt rushed but I didn't perceive that since I was deeply engaged in conversation thereby oblivious. Since I'm hard of hearing it throws off my situational awareness. I ordered a $69 tower, which I split with another friend. Some of the other ladies did too with one choosing a charcuterie board and some others ordering from the menu. We ordered different flavored teas with the Thai Chai being my favorite. I felt for what was received in correlation to price this was a pricey tower. I've been to other tea houses where they offered more like soup for starters and offered more finger sandwiches & pastries. What was offered was delicious, nonetheless. I felt our server was very sweet & attentive. She took our group photo and allowed us to take more photos in other parts of the eatery. We had fun raffle prizes and winners! All in all a very fun experience with my lovely Yelp ladies. Thanks again Janet, this was a great experience.
Came in for an early dinner to end our weekend getaway and Corbeaux was perfect. The restaurant is cute, well decorated, and cozy. We got a corner booth and were comfortable. We ordered: - paté plate 5/5: almost perfect! The toasted, sliced baguette had large holes that made spreading jam and paté difficult. - oysters 4/5: not sure what type of oysters they were as we weren't informed but they were succulent, sweet, and slightly salty. Their mignonette was all the oysters needed to round out the flavors. - winter duck 5/5: perfectly cooked, crispy skin with just enough fat layer, meat was smokey and tender. - cod curry 5/5. Perfectly seared with a buttery texture. Their mignonette curry was familiar but also unique. We had a wonderful date and highly recommend for a date night.
My friends and I came here for the first time for our Galentine's. The restaurant is really cute, and my friends kept wanting to take pictures in different spots because of the decor. We came for the afternoon tea. It's meant for two people, so it's best to pair up and split the check. We were still hungry afterward, so we each ordered a plate from the menu. The portions are small, but we enjoyed everything and the overall experience. We loved the unique and different types of teas we had to choose from. My friends really enjoyed the german chocolate tea, but I preferred the more fruity, floral ones. They do rotate and change the menu, which I'm glad about so I can try different things on my next date there. The service was good, and our waiter was attentive.
Situated right near goat and vine, meaning plenty of easy parking in the structure just steps away. Had a wonderful time here enjoying afternoon tea with a great group. Our server Tiffany was so patient with us while we tried to decide what to share/how many snacks, tea towers, etc. I wasn't as big a fan of the savory items on the tower, but I knew by the descriptions I wouldn't be since I don't enjoy mayo of any kind. All of the sweet treats were inventive, delicate, and delicious. The fruit was juicy and fresh. I enjoyed the charcuterie board but it wasn't my favorite item and seemed a little small for the price compared to others I've had. Tried a bunch of different teas that varied in style and flavor profile. I didn't notice if cream or sugar was available, but I prefer mine unsweetened. The space is a little small but they made good use of it for seating including their bar area.
I love this place! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We came in 5 minutes before the kitchen was going to shut down and they politely sat us down and let us know how to run the play without rushing us. The ambience sets the mood that would make your entire party relaxed and happy. The light music playing in the background wind drawn out your conversation. We absolutely love all the experiences they offer. Our favorite is the caviar tasting... who else has it in the area? If you know please let me know. Also don't miss out on the brioche bun with lavender butter. They have yet to disappointment me here. Stop by I think you'd love it if you're into this vibe. It's stunning, beautiful and elegant. Make me feel fancy.
Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party -- Jimmy Buffett One can have both of course...the search and the surprise ;-) The search being a quality fine dining restaurant in the Temecula - Murrieta area and the surprise is finding one Corbeaux is a combination wine bar - tea bar - restaurant in the City Hall part of Old Town Temecula, but it is a world's apart from the typical Old Town Temecula joint with mediocre food and mediocre drinks. Inside, the ambiance reminds me of Nor Cal - SF with a cool neighborhood restaurant where the surrounding area melts away. It's classy yet unpretentious. We took my Yelp friend Lori out for her birthday and we all chose the price fixe meal. The entrance can be confusing only because the front door jams shut and one has to go through the back of the restaurant. You get 4 course plus a bread course and amuse bouche. Let's pause for the bread course. This bite sized piece of heaven is otherworldly. They need to serve more of it throughout the meal. The chef's starter was lovely and then we settled into our meal. It will be European style service so definitely let them know if you need to hit a show or movie. From the four courses we tried a bit of everything: Beef tartar (wonderful and innovative version of this dish), foraged mushrooms, charred cabbage, beet passionfruit salad, filet mignon, duck confit, and the only dessert that matters: charred butter cake. All were stellar!! Not a miss on the menu and all at 5 star quality. We also had tea and a cocktail, again both were outstanding. The service needs refinement though. It's a step below Michelin level fine dining indeed. I brought two bottles of wine, corkage $25 each, and never once was our glasses filled. I filled up everyone's glasses all night. This was irritating as not only did I pay corkage, but they added $10 tip to corkage with automatic 20% tip at end. The server did not deserve that extra $10 although she was lovely throughout the meal except for one more misstep. After the main meal was over, I wanted to have some more of that wondrous bread and was told the kitchen was closed. We were never warned about this. Every restaurant tells the guests at least 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. Other than those minor mistakes, this was a fine dining meal not found anywhere else in this part of S Cal/Riverside County. Highly recommended!! read more

An amazing dinner spot in Old Town Temecula! At first, the restaurant looks small, with just counter seating and a few tables near the entrance. But once you head downstairs, you will find a cozy dining area in the back with a cozy atmosphere. My friend and I chose the prix fixe menu with the restaurant's selected wine pairings, and it was an incredible experience. Gabriel, who took care of our table, explained every dish and wine pairing in detail, making the entire meal even more enjoyable. Every course was creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From the first bite to the final dessert, and every wine pairing in between, everything was outstanding. It was a memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Temecula. read more

This was our 3rd time here and it most certainly will not be our last. This has become our "Special Occasion" restaurant. But to call it just a restaurant would do it a disservice because it is more of a dining experience. The service from the owner, chef, bar director, and server Gabe is nothing short of impeccable. The food is a work of art and you leave feeling satisfied but not "omg! I'm so full!!". Our family of 3 all order our own meals, etc but doing so after we have consulted with one another about our plan to taste each others'. It's that good. ONLY complaint was to see that they were not as busy as they deserve to be. We need them to stay around for all future "Special Occasions". read more

If you considered yourself a foodie and seek fine dining experience in a cozy, more casual than a typical steakhouse vibe, Corbeaux Wine and Tea House is it in Temecula. Their French decor is modern and chic. We were there last night for the first time, and it will not be our last! Anytime you try a pre-fixe menu, you never know what you'll be served but dish after dish, we were impressed by the beautiful presentations and well balanced dishes. Loved and appreciated the chef's creativity of combining French and Asian flavors into every dish. I also chose a wine pairing option for drinks, and was introduced to a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. Overall, it was a memorable evening with great food and service, and we are looking forward to visiting them again when they change their next season's menu with our friends. (They change their pre-fixe menu three times a year, according to our waiter) Highly recommend it! Cheers to their chef! read more

We celebrated our anniversary here and got the tea service. The woman seating us was extremely off. Never smiled, seemed like she was rushing everywhere, didn't seem friendly at all by that was legit the only thing about this place that was a little odd. I'm not kidding, best tea service we've ever had. The gentleman who served us was so friendly and kind and even substituted things for us, suggested things and congratulated us. The tea and treats were absolutely delightful. I can't praise them enough. It's cutely decorated and lovely inside! You absolutely should try this place out!!! read more

Must try in Old Town Temecula! The moment you walk in, you'd feel like you just transported to a cafe in Paris! The vibe is very elegant. There is a lot of natural light, and they have cozy chairs. We got seated in a nice little corner. The server we had was very attentive and explained the menu pretty well. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully plated! It's the perfect place to go if you want to treat someone for a special occasion or if you want to go on a date! They also serve afternoon teas which I'd definitely come back for next time! read more
Came here on a Friday night for some drinks and apps. It wasn't busy when we got in around 6PM so we were seated quickly. The inside is super cute and feels intimate for a nice date night. Their menu is Asian fusion and their dishes sounded really interesting. I really enjoyed their kinilaw (Filipino dish of raw seafood) it was light and fresh. Fair warning: the kinilaw is on the sour side. Our server was super knowledgeable on their menu as well as their wine selections and we had a great time here at Corbeaux. For parking there's a free lot right across the street - there's also street parking around. read more

Corbeaux is so good! We didn't have reservations but we got there at around 11 am on a Saturday and luckily they were able to seat us immediately. However, I would really recommend on getting a reservation because there weren't that many seating available for walk-ins. The vibes indoors are super good and the decor is very nice. We ordered the brioche loaf - sooo tasty with the lavender honey butter. Additionally, we also ordered oysters on the half shell, kinilaw, and the longanisa skillet. The champagne mignonette that came with the oysters was insanely good but my favorite dish is definitely the kinilaw! The kinilaw was such a perfect representation and re-imagination of the kinilaw I grew up eating. The cocktails were amazing as well. read more

Came here for the afternoon tea service and it was delightful. It was quite slow on a Monday afternoon. It gave me some time to take in the beautiful decor and offerings. We got the tea service which includes finger sandwiches, desserts, and fresh fruits. Along with a pot of tea. We decided on the peach apricot and it was deciduous and surprisingly herbal (caffeine free). We also got two drinks. I got the Her Majesty which was delicious but couldn't taste the white wine in it (should have just gotten it non-alcoholic to save some $) The staff were nice, unfortunately I just felt the tea service items/drinks kind of fell short. Nothing stood out to me and there was nothing that made me think "I want to come back specifically for the tea service". Even though the tea service was decent; the ambiance and attentive staff were amazing. I'm hoping to come back to either do wines or a nice lunch/dinner as their selection did look appealing. read more

We went here for a friend's bachelorette celebration, and it's perfect for a fancy yet casual feel. We easily shared the trays and added some delicious dishes to supplement our tummies. I really liked the longanisa dish. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable about the different wines. She even gave us info about the tasty canned mussels! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Corbeaux Wine & Tea House and especially SELENA! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and completely taken care of. Selena has an amazing ability to understand your vibe and make recommendations you'll love. She encouraged us to try foods we normally never would have ordered, and we ended up absolutely loving them. We also did a wine tasting and tea experience, and every single recommendation was spot-on. What truly sets Selena apart is her kindness, knowledge, and genuine care for her guests. She helped make our visit feel special from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and will be asking for Selena every time! read more

We decided to come here for the tea experience. We got there 5 minutes before our reservation and had to wait a little bit for someone to come talk to us to seat us. I don't think that's bad necessarily but the way the place is laid out you're kinda just standing awkwardly at the top of stairs overlooking the restaurant. The food is delicious. We got the honeybush tea, which tasted amazing - side note: they don't give you any sugar or honey to sweeten the tea (they didn't offer it either upon placing it in our table.) Not a problem for me, I don't usually add sugar, but I know people that prefer to do that. The sandwiches and pastries that came in the tower were all beautiful and well made. I am only giving it 4 stars because of the fruit. They present it and advertise as fresh fruit, but on our tower you could clearly tell the fruit was kind of old, pushing it. There was more than one grape with visible spots of bruising or hole in them. The strawberry used was also very soft and shriveled. For $69, I expected at the very least fruit that didn't look like it'd been sitting in the fridge for days. read more

I've been visiting for a couple of years now with my two daughters who specifically enjoy their tea experience. If I could give this Gem 20 stars I would. With each item served, I can appreciate how everyone there always expresses a little background of any selection on the menu whether a cocktail, entree or dessert shows the tier and value of a place such as this. It definitely gives some Michelin stars in my opinion. The owner is very sweet!! And we always feel so well taken care of. We love it here and refer all of our friends and family. read more

Made last minute dinner reservations and this meal ended up being the best out of our weekend in Temecula. We opted for the 5 course pre fixed option. Each dish was aesthetically beautiful, presentation was 10/10, and tasted just as good as it looked. Every single dish was a hit and left me wanting more but my favorite was the sous vide filet mignon! The tea selection was extensive and we ended up ordering a couple different large pots as long as a few cocktails and beers. The service was excellent and our server was so knowledgeable about the food, cocktails and tea. The ambiance is very cute and homey as well! They offer afternoon high tea once a month so I'll definitely be back for that next time! read more
Back at the Corbeaux! Can't get enough of their sous vide steak paired with a bottle of Matin Du Bois wine. Hubby tried the Duck Kare-Kare (a famous Filipino dish in peanut sauce) as well as the Yellowtail Kilawin with calamansi (another Filipino citrus fruit). They change menus every now and then so if you wanna try these yummy Filipino style-infused ingredients, check their menu beforehand. Service is always very personable and great! They do seasonal High Tea events and I attended the Winter Wonderland High Tea. It is a set menu with tea pairings that lasted about 2 hours. All of the food was delicious and it was easy to tell it was handcrafted. The four tea pairings were absolutely delicious and so flavorful. It was an expensive experience, and they automatically included tip, so it will be more of a special occasion event. They also are open daily and you can go and just have wine or tea - I will be going back for that! read more

Found this place on accident. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by staff and sat at the bar. The cleanliness was unmatched and the inside looked and felt cozy. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about everything from the history of the restaurant, wine, tea, and food. Everything tasted absolutely amazing and was plated beautifully. Upon entering it was warm and inviting. Christmas decor was up which added to the ambiance. It had plenty of seating and was pretty, very girlie for teens and up. We had a nice waiter which attended to us throughout, explained the menu and any questions, he also provided tea recommendations, which were very good. Ordered: the three tier tea assortment (the mushroom stuffing item was amazingggg! I also enjoyed the salmon and cheese slice) and had two types of bread both very good, moist and fluffy with delicious butter. Overall a really special experience for a girls/ teen event, it was my first Tea experience and enjoyed it. The space is beautifully done! read more

Is the tea experience per person? I've only been to the one at the Old Magnolia Tea Room, and would like to find another place that's closer.
Yes, it's a per person charge for their tea sets. It's really good!
Do they offer take out?
Unfortunately they do not, but I can understand. Their food is not only delicious, it is very meticulously and beautifully plated and some items may not travel well.
Would your tea experience be appropriate for young girls 7-8 yrs old? We have a girls trip coming up and are trying to find a fun experience for them.
It could be, but quite honestly I feel like it's more teenager and up as they would appreciate it, also, they serve alcohol there, so I feel like it's more for the older ones :)
What is the maximum capacity of your restaurant? Can we buyout the restaurant for a welcome reception of 125 people?
Hi Lianna, thank you for reaching out! We do provide full restaurant buyouts, however, our capacity is only 45 people so we wouldn't be able to accommodate a party of that size unfortunately.
