Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures when I came in for the evening but this place is a nice little spot. It's one of the few late night places in wine country so it gets busy on weekends. There's live music on weekends as well so if you're sound sensitive I do not recommend. It was quite loud but I personally still enjoyed myself and had a good time singing along. The seating is first come first serve so you might have to wait for a table but usually something opened pretty quickly. The drinks were tasty and the service was good. There is also food options available even in the later evening. We tried the carne asada fries and they were delicious. The cheese sauce and chimichurri cream, with very tender meat, yum! read more

Nice place to eat and drink with live music. This is one of the few winery/restaurants that stay open with a full menu past 9. Theres live music so pick your table wisely. In previous visits, closer to the stage is loud, but more energetic. This visit we sat in the back and were able to enjoy a conversation without the need of raising our voices. Getting a table can be difficult since there are no reservations or hostess for seating. 8-9pm most tables on a Saturday night are taken so you might have to wait. The food and drinks were good. Nothing spectacular, or memorable. Just good food that you wont complain about. A dinner for 2 with a few drinks will set you back ~$200. read more

Such an interesting place located underneath the Ponte Inn. It has a completely different nighttime vibe from the winery and we felt like we were someplace else. It's dark inside with music that is a bit loud at times but seemed to attract a lot of people. We visited one night for trivia night and the place was packed and happening! Walked in here after having dinner at ponte and definately did not regret coming here. This place is kind of like a speakeasy, hidden down stairs next to the lobby. The place was pretty packed but since people were coming and leaving we were able to get a seat. There was live music playing and very adult atmosphere. For drinks we got the Toasted Smore ($18) and PB and J Old Fashion ($18). There are many bartenders so drinks came out super quickly. Toasted smore was strong, had a charred marshmallow which was a nice touch. My fiance's PB and J tasted just like PB and J also strong. Headed here after all the other winery's closed. They had a live band dem 7pm to 10pm. It is really cozy... giving speakeasy vibes. The drinks were very well made and the late night food was very good. I really loved the flat bread pizza... everyone was raving about the burger and the meatball was juicy. She seemed knowledgeable and was attentive without being in our faces a lot. Drinks were great. We opted for cocktails. I got the Apple Butter Old Fashion. It's not an old fashion in the traditional sense at all. But I loved it for myself. My husband got a traditional old fashion and he enjoyed it. Food was decent. We got the Sicilian flatbread which was alright. Better than Lorimar! I definitely recommend leaving the pepperoncini on it. It really rounds out the flavor. We also got the burger and it was tasty. The bacon we added was cooked exactly as I like it. Crispy, but not burnt. I thought the meat itself was past medium, but whatever. I liked their fried and ranch as well. 2.5 stars... Staying at Ponte and looking for evening good we discovered this place is in our hotel complex and has live music. Started out with a bottle of rose, and was a bit disappointed the bartender just set the bottle on the counter, and would have quickly warmed had I not asked for an ice bucket. If this weren't at a winery I may not have been so critical of this move... they also never refilled our glasses from our bottle. Ordered the arugula salad to start... perfect portion and wonderful mix of flavors and textures..spicy greens with the vinegar dressing and creaminess of the white beans. Next up was the white flatbread... pesto garlic with the moisture of the tomatoes and crisp crust...we asked for cheese to add the salt hit we needed. Finished up with the snickers pie...a great ending. Not too sweet, and slightly salty creamy goodness. When we tried to pay the wheels really fell off...we were overcharged, and when trying to get the bill right(3 times sending it back) it took over 20 minutes. This place would be 4.5 stars if the service issues had not arisen, and being members here we just expected better service and attention. The Cellar Lounge is spectacular! It's fancy and gorgeous inside. The seating is comfortable as well. Service is great. The drinks are strong. And the food is delicious too! I honestly can't say enough positive things about The Cellar. It does get really crowded in the evening. And it makes sense why. Everyone wants to chill at The Cellar lol I can't remember what mixed drinks we ordered, but we did a pretty good job of sampling most of the drinks on the menu lol We also ordered some bottles of wine. I ordered a Caesar salad for dinner and we all shared some appetizers. My friends ordered steak entrees and said it was really good. There was also a wedding going on at the time we were visiting. Honestly 3.5 stars. Here goes. I had actually read some reviews before dining and saw they were kind of all over the board and thought, well, ok... no biggie. I was actually REALLY impressed that they seem to read, review and respond to these. Thumbs up. However, after dining - my new feeling is that they don't actually do anything about them - meaning they don't *actually* try and work on the improvements. Here is why I say that. Many reviews said music too loud... it still is. Is the live music good? Yea! Is it too loud? Also yes. Can't even have a conversation. Many reviews said the drinks took a long time. That's the understatement of the year. If I hadn't have read reviews I would probably have chalked it up to a bad night for them. Maybe understaffed BUT - it was bad. Like really bad. Our first drink took probably about 15 minutes to come. Our after dinner drink took about 30 minutes. Not kidding. As we sat there and drank said drinks - we literally watched a table of 5 get up and LEAVE when the waitress *finally* brought their drinks. They politely said "we waited too long, we don't want them" In my head I was like "ok it isn't just me! Whew!" Our middle of dinner drinks came in a more timely fashion so it's 1/3 for drinks and mine was a glass of wine - that's simple. So, if you just want water (or maybe wine) and no dinner conversation - you're in the clear for this place. Now for the positives. The service was good. The drinks taking so long is NOT the servers fault, so I would say service was very good. Alyssa was friendly and cheerful! She brought me samples of two wines I was debating on and seemed knowledgeable about their flavor profiles. They were, however, out of all of one brand of wine. I can't remember what brand it was - but of course - that's the one I wanted. Ha. Naturally. So then she brought samples of others to help aid finding one I would like. The food was very tasty. Not much else to say other than that. We had the meatballs, salmon, and burger. We went here despite it potentially being loud because i saw the salmon in a review and wanted it! It didn't disappoint. It was tasty. I enjoyed the decor an ambiance of the place. Again, I had read reviews of people not liking it - apparently they remodeled during Covid. I actually did say something about the wait time for the end of evening drinks (she was on break when we ordered them and off break by the time they came), so I mentioned the wait to her and she discounted them 50% - so kudos on them for that for sure. Would I return? Probably not. At least not until it doesn't take forever and a day to get a drink. read more

The Cellar was highly enjoyable. The drinks, an old fashion and Cadillac margarita, were spot on, the service was wonderful except for when our waitress was busy chatting it up with her fellow work mates which was not often. A manager was visible, very hands on the floor, speaking to all clientele. The Cesar salad was wonderfully zesty, the bruschetta was refreshing although the bread was more like a hard cracker rather than toasted/grilled, as it should be. The talented guitarist really set the romantic mood; Sting and Eric Clapton. All in all, our experience at The Cellar was just the date night we needed to wrap up our Temecula getaway. After a few years of trying, we finally made it to The Cellar! We went down several flights of stairs and emerged in a whole new world! The ambiance is a modern upscale lounge. There is a good amount of seating. My husband and I shared bruschetta, Sicilian flatbread, and a cheeseburger. It was all fresh and quite good. I wasn't a fan of the cheese sauce on the burger but everything else about it was enjoyable. Our cocktails were excellent, as well. Service was prompt and friendly. Our only challenge with The Cellar was some customers who came after us and sat right next to us. It was evident that they had already spent a day at the wineries. Two of the men were unbelievably loud and there was some racism toward someone in their party. They continued ordering drinks and it resulted in a very uncomfortable situation. We left before the entrainment started at 7:00. There were other respectful groups that staggered in as well, so we have the impression that this is a post winery hangout. We'll eventually make it back to The Cellar because it's a cool spot! read more

We enjoyed the cellar - our first time visiting. I thing that strikes you immediately is the loudness of the room. Sound definitely is emphasized given the location and size. However we found a bit of relief in that if you sit at the bar the overhead light soffit seems to mute it a tiny bit but enough to notice and allow normal conversation at the bar. Food was good - charcuterie board we good but had obviously been prepared and in a refrigerator for some time but understandable given need to focus labor efficiently these days. The ingredients were very good. Live ludicrous started at 7pm and was good as well. Met some new people - lots of fun conversations. Bar staff was attentive. Was looking forward to some drinks after eating a great meal at the Ponte restaurant, and before heading off to our room at the Ponte Inn, As we walked down the stairs, we could feel the humidity rise 100%. Got to the main bar level and thought it was some kind of a joke. It was sweltering, NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! Really??!! It was 100* in Temecula today and their A/C is out? It must have been 95* in the room and they were still open. People were guzzling ice water just to stay hydrated so they wouldn't be stricken with heat exhaustion. Why did they remain open? We had to stay and have a drink just to see if we could survive. Maybe it was just temporary for the night? Nope! Our server (who was sweating profusely) told us the A/C had been out for "a long time." What? Why? This is supposed to be a high-end hotel. The rooms for one night on the weekends are $400+ a night. Come on Ponte, do better! After one drink we couldn't handle it anymore and had to leave. We did feel a sense of accomplishment after....in the sauna, we dropped several pounds and felt like we won an episode of Survivor. read more

Nice variety for a bar restaurant. After traveling into town we were looking for a convenient place for good food and found it in our hotel. The Cellar offers upscale bar food at reasonable (though steep) prices. My Tuscan Salad with Chicken was amazingly good. Other favorites at our table were the Meatballs, the Balsamic Pear Flatbread and the Short Ribs. Of course the wine list was great with their own Ponte Wines. Service was a little slow but friendly and the room itself was too clod that evening. Also advise to turn the music down as it made it hard to talk. On our next visit, we will likely repeat a meal at the Cellar. read more
