    Toasted Smore
    Yurie H.

Walked in here after having dinner at ponte and definately did not regret coming here. This place is kind of like a speakeasy, hidden down stairs next to the lobby. The place was pretty packed but since people were coming and leaving we were able to get a seat. There was live music playing and very adult atmosphere. For drinks we got the Toasted Smore ($18) and PB and J Old Fashion ($18). There are many bartenders so drinks came out super quickly. Toasted smore was strong, had a charred marshmallow which was a nice touch. My fiance's PB and J tasted just like PB and J also strong. Having a bar in a winery is a great idea and a good place to come post dinner for drinks!

The vibe is always awesome here. The staff is friendly and the cocktails never fail. There's always something going on and we love coming here!

Headed here after all the other winery's closed. They had a live band dem 7pm to 10pm. It is really cozy... giving speakeasy vibes. The drinks were very well made and the late night food was very good. I really loved the flat bread pizza... everyone was raving about the burger and the meatball was juicy. I had a French 75 with tequila and an expresso martini...overall loved the vibe and definitely worth returning to. The wait staff was very friendly but the service was a little slow.

Ambiance was great! We came for a dad and daughter date so we were there just to listen to the live music and talk. People were dancing and walking around the room talking to other tables, so it made such a lively dinner experience. Very warm and welcoming. Our server Brianna was very sweet and had exceptional service! Nothing but smiles and fast service from her. The meals were good, nothing extraordinary but it was still pleasant. Definitely a place to come and visit!

4.5 stars!! Ambiance is top notch. I love the lounge feel. There was live music when we were there on a Friday night. The service was nice too. She seemed knowledgeable and was attentive without being in our faces a lot. Drinks were great. We opted for cocktails. I got the Apple Butter Old Fashion. It's not an old fashion in the traditional sense at all. But I loved it for myself. My husband got a traditional old fashion and he enjoyed it. Food was decent. We got the Sicilian flatbread which was alright. Better than Lorimar! I definitely recommend leaving the pepperoncini on it. It really rounds out the flavor. We also got the burger and it was tasty. The bacon we added was cooked exactly as I like it. Crispy, but not burnt. I thought the meat itself was past medium, but whatever. I liked their fried and ranch as well. Overall, we spent around $115 on 4 cocktails, and appetizer and an entree. We'll be back.

Delicious newest drink on their menu Tamarindo Margarita A satisfying yummy Sweet N Sour drink with a Mexican candy to top it off.

My family & I stopped in to have a few delicious drinks this Sunday. Drinks & service were very professional, classy and very nice. Check out their website Friday & Saturday nights they have live music

2.5 stars... Staying at Ponte and looking for evening good we discovered this place is in our hotel complex and has live music. Started out with a bottle of rose, and was a bit disappointed the bartender just set the bottle on the counter, and would have quickly warmed had I not asked for an ice bucket. If this weren't at a winery I may not have been so critical of this move... they also never refilled our glasses from our bottle. Ordered the arugula salad to start... perfect portion and wonderful mix of flavors and textures..spicy greens with the vinegar dressing and creaminess of the white beans. Next up was the white flatbread... pesto garlic with the moisture of the tomatoes and crisp crust...we asked for cheese to add the salt hit we needed. Finished up with the snickers pie...a great ending. Not too sweet, and slightly salty creamy goodness. When we tried to pay the wheels really fell off...we were overcharged, and when trying to get the bill right(3 times sending it back) it took over 20 minutes. This place would be 4.5 stars if the service issues had not arisen, and being members here we just expected better service and attention. Very unfortunate because This joint does not make the list..

Awesome underground bar. We stopped by here last on a Saturday night and caught a cool live presentation. The music was ok. It was old old rock and roll and not quite our type but still live music. The drinks were expensive the dessert was delicious. Overall, a great place to stop by if you want good drinks in an intimate live music setting.

    Cheers

The Cellar Lounge is spectacular! It's fancy and gorgeous inside. The seating is comfortable as well. Service is great. The drinks are strong. And the food is delicious too! I honestly can't say enough positive things about The Cellar. It does get really crowded in the evening. And it makes sense why. Everyone wants to chill at The Cellar lol I can't remember what mixed drinks we ordered, but we did a pretty good job of sampling most of the drinks on the menu lol We also ordered some bottles of wine. I ordered a Caesar salad for dinner and we all shared some appetizers. My friends ordered steak entrees and said it was really good. There was also a wedding going on at the time we were visiting. So that was entertaining seeing all the drunk people celebrating the happy couple lol

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Service from the staff members were all courteous, helpful and just wonderful, All was amazing, Cheers!!Recommend

There's also a stage area where there was live music as well, a man with a guitar, which made for a relaxing and enjoyable ambiance. We very impressed that this place was kid & dog friendly. I decided to do a wine tasting for my birthday with 2 other guests and drove from LA to Temecula on a Sunday. Arriving to the estate was easy, there's plenty of free parking spots surrounding the winery. It's quite an uphill stroll and some stairs are involved, but you definitely get a workout in. They have a covered patio area of tables that are either reserved or you put your name down to get a table on the left side of the winery, the middle/terrace area is usually used for private parties/events such as a bridal shower or birthday party, where there are 2 outside bars and sometimes they offer live music, the back area of the estate has a grassy area with small vendors selling jewelry and such with picnic style tables (no shade or cover), a gazebo of seating facing in my opinion, the best part of the view, and a separate location for wine club members. The inside is where you do the actual wine tasting experience, and has high bar stool tables and chairs for seating as well. Stepping up to the hostess desk, a man who worked there greeted us and very quickly told us what they offer and then walked away (had nothing to do with the check in desk area, so it was a little confusing). The hostesses had the same spiel to give, and I had mentioned it was our first time and we had absolutely no idea how to even begin a wine tasting experience. The explanations were rushed and basically told us to figure it out. We walked away towards the inside/outside terrace of the winery and were stuck walking around for 5 minutes not knowing where to go. We stopped by one of the outside bars and asked for help, the bartender told us we could start our wine tasting experience inside. Now was that so hard to help us navigate where we're supposed to go and what we're supposed to do? Not everything should be explained on a script, most of the time hospitality and customer service goes a longer distance than formalities. We finally get inside and the women working the front for the tastings were really impersonal and standoffish. We finally start getting a tasting experience going, asked for recommendations and none were received or explained so we just picked random options and had them pour. Throughout the 6 tastings we had, each pour was a different amount, if the bottle they were using was running low, they would pour the last bits of it (barely 2 sips), and hand it over, vs a bottle that was more than full, would get a nice even tasting pour. We eventually wanted to order food, and before we even started the tasting, we asked for a table and the hostess told us it would be over an hour wait. We put our names down, they called us in the middle of our 2/6 tasting, which was less than 20 min. So we went to our table and kept having to go back inside one by one to taste our different wines, as we were at a table now and not just doing the tasting experience inside. Food was great, service at the table was also great. Afterwards we left our table and walked towards the gazebo area and sat down by the view. The most enjoyable part of our day just taking in the atmosphere. On our way out, we wanted to experience a different viewpoint which was the bar area with the stools next to the tables of the "reserved/name down" area. I very nicely asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty seats for just a second to finish our last tasting and take in the view, she told us no those are reserved areas and not just open for anyone to sit at as they please. "Sorryyyy those are reserved spaces" with a smile that was clearly not genuine. We understood, dropped our wine glasses off at the bar, and proceeded to our next destination. All in all, the service here was not great. The entire experience felt absolutely rushed, it was not focused on the wine tasting experience at all, they are more focused on selling tables and getting you to order food. There was no explanations on a quick backstory of the wines we were interested in trying, it was just like "which one do you want" "*point*" poured it, and just told us to enjoy. I didn't enjoy my time here at all, and I won't be back to visit, as there are many many other lowkey wineries that are not as highly reviewed or popular as this one, and they are a much better experience.
