Decided on Kelsey's for dinner tonight. It gives Sports Pub vibes with a centered round bar, tv's around the bar and walls, dim lighting, and music playing in the background. They offer booth and table seating, and even have a private dining area for a larger party. The food is remindful of pub style food. They also offer a nice selection of draft beers, hand crafted cocktails, and wine. I opted for the Kelsey Burger. In my opinion, it's the best item on the menu. It's. It has a Wagyu Beef patty (I order mine medium), caramelized onions, smoked Gouda cheese, habanero bacon jam(don't knock it), roasted garlic aioli, and arugula on a brioche bun. This burger is sophisticated and playful. It is truly an experience when you eat it. It comes with steak fries and I recommend getting them extra crispy. The service was ok this evening. Visited Kelsey's more times than I care to admit. However, it's a great casual spot w lots of TV's playing various sports throughout the day and night. I've enjoyed most everything on the menu except maybe one or two things. Pizzas are a great choice if feeding a group. The steaks are reasonably priced and flavorful. Sandwiches are also a quick option for great value. Food comes out quick and the servers are all solid. They do change the menu regularly tho. I absolutely loved Kelsey's. The service was top notch. I believe our server's name was Tito and he was amazing. I would definitely recommend the brussels sprouts and pork belly to start with and the mac & cheese as a side. Kelsey's is a sports bar inside of Pechanga Casino Resort. There are a lot of TVs at the bar as well as TVs on the walls inside the dining area. They have quite a selection of beers on tap, and quite a few bottles of liquor on display. If you are looking for more of a non-sports bar experience, they do have seating along the outside. This may or may not be quieter, depending on how busy it is inside and in the casino nearby. We have dined outside the bar a few times in the past and had a good experience. On this visit, we sat at the bar to have an appetizer and a cocktail. We visited around 8:30pm on a weeknight, and it was fairly slow and relatively quiet inside. For our appetizer, we ordered the fried pickles ($15). We usually prefer pickle chips, but theirs are fried pickle spears which had a good amount of batter. We let them cool off for quite a while, but we both burned our mouths biting into them initially. We let them cool off some more, and then finally enjoyed them. The serving size is ok, and it comes with regular and chipotle ranch dressing for dipping. I ordered the Desert Peach cocktail (Teremana blanco tequila, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, peach, lime, $16). It had a good mix of peach flavor and heat, and was not boozy. I liked the thick Tajin rim. She ordered the Jungle Bird (Myer's dark rum, Campari, pineapple, agave, lime, $16). The bartender warned us that this was a bitter cocktail, but that was an understatement as it was extremely bitter. Maybe they go a little heavier on the Campari than usual, but I wouldn't recommend ordering this if you don't like bitter drinks. Service was ok. As slow as it was, we only saw our bartender a few times after ordering. We saw the bar helper a lot more frequently, and he kept our water filled up. Now, if you haven't checked out Pechanga located in Temecula, you're truly missing out on a Southern California gem. I remember coming here over 25 years ago and it was no bigger than large gas station, pun intended. Now when you drive up and walk through it rivals mega resort Hotel & Casinos across the world, I.e. Las Vegas. Pechanga does cater rather well to any type of guest, and wallet size. Hence my wallet has been fat, and I've had a great time. My wallet has been lite, and I still had a great time. They offer everything you can think of, and next time I'll review the Hotel Rooms from the Resort Tower, to the Casino Tower. But this review is about the Restaurant, Kelsey's. Out of about 6 good choices to choose for dining, besides the food court, Kelsey's is a top pick for its easy menu, mainly American flare. The menu offers enough, but it's not a Cheesecake Factory. I have eaten here many a time, and enjoy a lot of what they offer, the ambience is nice , it's tucked into the corner of the casino, and they do offer a full bar inside. Service is always good, and they're usually never packed busy, just right. I was seated right away, and my server came over in about 1 minute. I ordered for the first time the Lobster Roll. It's a chilled Lobster roll, which is different for me but I gave it a shot. It was fantastic, I asked for a little melted butter on the side and it worked out great. Comes with big steak fries, very good dish before hitting the road after checking out. Can't wait to return, this always seems to be a go to at least once while I'm there. So yes. Does it lack something for everyone, maybe, is the price point a bit high for some, maybe. But overall they do what they do and they do it right. I enjoy Kelsey's. So , if you're ever in Temecula and haven't been to Pechanga, go spend an afternoon and check them out, you won't be disappointed. read more

She saw me and my cousin and son and gave us below the bare minimum service. Maybe because we looked young? Only came to our table once, that was to ask if I needed more Diet Coke towards the end of my meal as my glass was already empty. I asked for the check and due to her lag of coming to our table I immediately just gave her my card. She then asked if I needed to see the tab? I responded no it's ok. We sat in a table in the open but there are some softer, more private booth seating available. We had the fried pickles which were wedges and not slices as we expected. The Margherita pizza was simple with a thinner crust and the Reuben was good, although it had the be re-made. The food we had was Fish & Chips and Baked Half Chicken with choice of Corn on Cobb, beans, or ColeSlaw or fries. Came with a bit of corn bread but was dry. Husband said his fish & chips were tasty, my half chicken was fair but breast was not completely cooked, somehow I got fries so I ate them but ordered corn. We tried to go to another restaurant in the casino but the wait was too long so we randomly ended up at Kelsey's. The sports bar was more chill than others I've been to and I appreciated that. As is often the case, I couldn't resist the pull of the French dip sandwich. Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was eh. We had decided to eat here because one of my friends had just eaten here two weeks ago and suggested it for our group. We made reservations just in case it got busy for dinner and were seated quickly without any qualms. As the waiter took our order everything initially seemed fine. We ordered their nachos for our appetizer with brisket instead of tri tip and expecting a $2 extra charge (my friend had ordered this two weeks ago). Two of my friends ordered the Ruben sandwich but requested a change in bread from the Rye to just anything else. When the waiter came back he said the brisket was a $4 extra charge and the bread change was a $2 charge for the white bread roll. At the end of the dining we did ask the manager why the price change and he said the restaurant just recalculated their pricing. $4 more for brisket instead of Tri Tip. One would think the brisket actually cost less because of the type of meat. One would think the Rye cost more than a white roll. Either way we ended up paying for it albeit annoyed by the price changes. We were still excited to eat our food in hopes that it was as good as promised. The nachos came out and we were just settling in until our dinner arrived two minutes after our appetizers. Needless to say that someone did not time the food correctly and we felt rushed trying to eat everything before it got cold, soggy, etc. The Reuben's were not as good as they could be with one stuffed with only fat and hardly any meat and no pickles with our sandwiches. Luckily the server brought some pickles to us, but we had to hold our breath wondering if there was going to be a $2 charge for a sliced pickle. The only winner in this group of food was the pizza that turned out pretty good. I have had better, but it was decent with a nice crust and lots of toppings. The restaurant is nicely decorated and it had a relaxing atmosphere about it with ambient noises. Unfortunately the majority of our group won't be visiting this place anytime soon. The servers were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I made reservations through Yelp, There was no wait at all--we were seated immediately. For dinner, I ordered the fish and chips, and it was perfection! The batter was golden brown, fresh, and super crunchy--Paired with malt vinegar, a squeeze of lemon, and tartar sauce, it was heavenly! My son had the prime rib steak, and it was cooked to perfection--juicy, tender, and so flavorful. My husband chose the beef dip sandwich, and he couldn't stop raving about it. Didn't like the side of roasted cauliflower at all. Ordered a side of roasted carrots and they were great. Got a baked Alaska dessert to-go and it was horrible. The meringue was done nicely, however, the bottom cake layer was micro-thin and the ice cream itself. I'm not sure what to say about it. It was like ice milk and absolutely tasteless.
