1st time stopping by, a friend decided to celebrate his bday here, beer/drink selection is wide for sure, I really did enjoy their pretzel and their spicy condiments they have available at the tables. I didn't try their pizza but the ones who did said it was good. Service was really good, very friendly and attentive, unfortunately the ambiance is not the greatest, it was a friday evening and unfortunately there are parents who don't disciple their kids and they are running around and unfortunately touching your food (it happened to me). Another spot that had been sitting on my "places to check out list" was Black Market Brewing. Stars aligned and a coworker asked me to meet after work so I finally made it in. It's a pretty big spot with lots of picnic table seating, a couple high tops and even a train car, but we sat at the bar. Theres several shuffleboard tables and a couple foosball tables to keep you entertained while you hang out. There's also another side for 21 and up which is nice. Although it's not one of their own beers I saw they had the blackberry & blueberry Julian cider which I love so I started there. After a nitro cali creamin I needed a little snacky snack so we ordered some meatballs and mozzarella sticks. Man that marinara is so good! The order of meatballs was 3 good size balls with sauce and a ton of parm and fresh basil, so good I did not share. I've been back already for a second time with the bf to try a couple of Black Markets brews and some delicious greasy pizza. The Brew tenders the first time were a lot friendlier and more talkative but the second time I had all I needed so no complaints. I'll definitely be back. read more

At times, it was hard to coordinate with someone over the phone, but email was sufficient to get the details in place. Located off a main road in an unassuming business park, one would not even know Black Market is here without hearing of it beforehand. I guess the name is pretty fitting. The trolley car parked inside is pretty unique decor. The staff was so helpful and let me taste a few beers/selzters as my indecisive self figured out what I wanted to drink. I had their No Equis Mexican lager which was not bad, but I have to say I'm a fan other Mexican lagers elsewhere. After coming back from a trip to New York, I didn't expect to have pizza this good so quickly. My friends and I loved the pizzas we ordered. I liked the crunch that the pizza had without it being thin crust! Thin crust is an option but we didn't try it. They also had a special going on that if you bought a pitcher of beer, you'd get half off the pizza. They have different specials each day which is cool too. They also have a good selection of beers, seltzers, and hard kombucha on tap. They also sell some sort of slushy drink but I didn't try that. We also ordered pretzels and wings. The pretzel came with hummus and mustard. I wish it came with some sort of cheese though. The pretzel was really good and fresh! The wings had good flavor. The star of the show was the pizza though. Really wanted to love this place. A great stop for us on our way to and from San Diego. Mainly gave them a shot because they had food and 8 Bit did not today. Stopped and got two really great beers and ordered a calzone. 30 minutes later...still no calzone. Talked to the guy making the food and he said making it now. 20 minutes later still no calzone with other patrons getting their food who came in well after we did. Paid for our beers and left. Only reason I'd go back is for the Pale Ale definitely not for the food. So if you only want a good beer you may want to give it a try. Otherwise food and beer options at 8 Bit are a better choice!! This place used to be one of our favorites. For some reason, it has turned into a Chuck E Cheese atmosphere. People had birthday groups with tons of kids that were screaming and yelling, while climbing all over the vintage trolley car they have inside. The parents weren't even paying attention. Last night we decided to give black market a try as we found them through a Temecula Instagram real. Upon arrival we were quite impressed with the layout. I respect the fact that shuffle board and fooseball are free being that many places would charge to let you play. This promotes a fun environment for kids to play and parents to socialize. We are in our mid 20s with no kids so we opted for some beer and a pizza to share. I always like to tell employees this is my first time so I can get a run down of the menu, get their opinions on what's good, so on. I asked the employee at the cashier taking orders and she was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. She rushed us through our ordering process and made us feel like a trouble more than make us feel like she was willing to help. We went with a custom pizza being that it was 1 dollar more than the specialty pizzas, coming out to 27 dollars. I am very disappointed with what we received. The pizza came out completely burnt. Every bite as you got passed the dough, sauce, and cheese was met with a hard bottom you had to bite hard to get through. Burnt/char flavor outshined the flavor of the pizza. But worst of all, on their website/instagram you see pictures of pizzas with so many toppings. Like so much you don't even see the cheese so I was really excited. We did half pepperoni and pineapple, half pepperoni and sausage. Please note how sparse the toppings are on the pepperoni and sausage side. There were 6 sausages at best on the pizza? So 27 dollars for burnt pizza and a real shortage on toppings left us very disappointed. Final thoughts here: Great place for kids and adults. If you're a young adult couple, please save your money. Maybe just come for drinks but the food is overpriced and the quality is below satisfactory at best. I do hope they take this feedback to heart and make changes as they are turning a significant profit with the crowds and amount of pizzas ordered. Lots of bar seating, as well as tables and even a trolley inside! I had a blackberry & blueberry hard cider and my husband had the "hush hush" which is a Hefeweizen; he also sampled and loved the "sticky rice" which is a Japanese rice lager. SO, I TRIED A NEW PIZZA PLACE TODAY After a 200-mile journey, back to Temecula, I was feeling food-adventurous and ordered delivery from this pizza maker between 1:30pm - 2:30pm. I ordered 14" Pizza, based on solid ratings on Yelp! MORE SAUCEY SAUCE PLEASE While fresh mozzarella harmonized with very little red sauce, the sauce didn't hit the Italian seasonings high notes for savory accompaniment of the pie. THE MAIN EVENT TOPPINGS The bacon and pepperoni were slightly crisp around the edges, nicely sliced, well-seasoned, and held enough fat for added flavor - awesome. BUT I WAS DISSAPOINTED BY THE CRUST The crust was overdone, dark in places, but NOT BURNT. And, the light parmesan cheese sprinkle around the crust's edges could not make up for the crust lacking flavor. The crust screamed for seasoning that awakens our palette and blows our mind. HIGHER PRICE, HIGHER BAR If they want premium pay, they'll need to level up and put some work into their sauce and pizza crust. I need that "Wow" factor, to quote Darryl Sheets on Storage Wars. I had never heard of this brewery until it was suggested as a spot to go and it's a cool spot. They've got a wide variety of drinks to choose from and the tomato here is chill. There's picnic tables on a fake grass area indoors, shuffleboard, and other games. Music playing was great, it was a mix. Pizza was good we got the Snowden my only complaint is that the crust was burnt in a lot of spots on the bottom. The beer cheese was really thick like not was kinda old. Overall, not bad though. The sour was delicious that I had but it was a guest brewery's sour, not Black Markets. Service was friendly and they let you taste a beer beforehand, which I always like. read more
