Great location. We really wanted to sit on the patio because it looked very inviting. I noticed some people smoking on one side of the patio... okay, cool. I saw some open seating on the other side where it looked like nobody was smoking. I went inside and ordered two beers. By the time I came out, almost everyone was smoking in the area. I took like two sips of my drink (yes literally two sips) and just brought them back inside and left. Yes, it was definitely a waste of money (what's $25?! lol) but I'm not trying to get second hand smoke. It was really really really bad and I used to work at a smoking casino, so that should tell you a lot! The man at the counter was nice. The location was nice. But the smoking was just too much. Wish they had one area that was the designated smoking area, not the whole patio! read more

I enjoyed the red ale and lite lager as I met a few old friends there and we proceeded to hang out and catch up on life! Wanted to take a few days off work and headed down to Temecula. I know wine is the norm, my wife and I wanted to do something a little different. As we were walking around Old Town Temecula, we saw a nice shaded porch in the middle of town. It was calling to us. As we walked in, we saw a few couples enjoying some nice samples as they chit chatted. We were greeted by the host who is also the barkeep. He let us know how it worked and showed us a menu. We treated ourselves to a sampling their delicious Sangrias and tried four beers. We started with the Covenant IPA, so good. Moved on to the Raspberry Berliner, wife loved it. The Hazy Summer Breeze was my fave. Topped it off with the Holy Water Blackberry, great tasting brew. When in town, stop by the Stone Church Brewing. Old Town Temecula is just so dang quaint! I came by here with my pup and 4 friends and we had a great time! The beers are fresh and local and as someone who appreciates a cider or fruity alternative, I was pleasantly surprised to see they make a deliciously refreshing Grapefruit seltzer as well! So great! We had already eaten so we didn't need food but it was great to sit down wit the pup (inside!) and watch sunday football in a relaxed setting. Parking is street only as far as I saw but it is also free so that's awesome! They have lots of TVs, bathrooms out back and friendly service. What more could you want from a Sunday night? read more

Second stop on our brewery tour of Temecula was Stone Church Brewing! This was my first time trying a brew by SCB - which is kind of funny since their original taproom is in my hometown, Corona. This brand spankin new location is on the main street of Old Town Temecula in a building filled with character. To top off their charm, Stone Church Brewing has prime real-estate with patio seating that overlooks the cities greatest happenings. The vibe indoors is rustic, with raw wood and open picnic table seating. While drinking is entertaining enough on its own, my only complaint is that unlike other breweries, this spot does not have any board games or cards for quick entertainment - I'm sure this is an addition that will be made with time. Luckily, I'm a weirdo and carry around a deck of Uno cards! I kept my order light with the Chastity Blonde (5.4 ABV, 25 IBU). Absolutely loved this beer, and I'm ready to make a quick stop by their Corona location to pick up a few additional cans! They also had some delicious sounding stouts that I wouldn't mind trying. Random note: there is no restroom located inside of SCB. It's located on the left side of the building. read more

While walking through Temecula we stopped in for a couple of beers. Staff was very friendly and you could tell they have a nice community of local patrons as well (including the cutest dog Luna). We walked in to try their beer. I noticed that almost all the names of the beers mock the Catholic faith. There is nothing "creative" with the naming of the beers. It's actually lazy, with an easy target. We walked out without a purchase thinking they certainly decided not to mock the Muslim faith. Attacking Catholic and the Christian faith is usually physically safe, but those businesses quickly close due to the public's anger and shock. read more

Since it is open air, the putrid cigarette/cigar smells from outside are unavoidable. Decor/ambience was country music, guns and flags. Do with that what you will. It IS Temecula. A buddy and I stopped in the second day of opening and weren't disappointed. We tried the Covenant IPA and their hazy IPA. Both are super solid easy drinking beers. Good citrus flavor with a small hop bite. Def recommend either. The layout is pretty cool. Not overly big but not small. They have side room for meetings or private groups. Eventually they'll serve wine, in that particular room, if I'm not mistaken. Located right on the main drag, you can sit outside and people watch while downing a beer. Bill, one of the owners, is a really chill old school dude. I told my wife about it and she wanted to go so I took her the next day. It was pretty busy on a Friday. Bill was working behind the bar and we ordered the hazy, a porter and an ESB. Again, all beers are solid. These guys know what they are doing. If you're in the area this is a must stop. This place is cool!!! Went in here the other day, while checking out Old Town Temecula. With the live band and outdoor seating, it could not have been more Perfect. Just happened to meet one of the "Apostles"...yeah Stone Church has a following!!! And now I see why.. A gentleman named Phillip, an Apostle, was nice enough to show us around and made sure we were taken care of... Very nice location in the center of Old Town.
