To be honest this is my first yelp review but this winery is something different. This place is owned by true Americans. Hard working and kind people that put great attention into small detail. If you see any "bad" reviews reference this winery it is angry Karens..period. This location is perfect, the wine is fantastic, and is a representation of old school values, family, and fun. Why drive through wine country, park in dirt, and fight chaotic crowds when you can support a local business. I met Marshall and he was genuinely interested in me and my family and took the time to listen when it was super busy. His wife Shannon was even more awesome, which I didn't think was possible. As a retired LEO I pick up on good people with good intentions very fast. This is the place to go. We had a wonderful afternoon on a gorgeous sunny Saturday. Brad, took such great care of us. We fell in love with so many of the delicious Marshalls Stewart wines the reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 was sublime picked up a bottle for dinner. We also loved the Syrah The viognier is the perfect crisp lightly floral heavy on the delicious summer fruit fruits. I would drink that all summer long with every meal. Extremely disappointing experience -- take your business elsewhere Our group recently visited this wine bar, and despite spending a significant amount of money, we were made to feel completely unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the treatment we received only made it worse. There was a group seated in the center of the room who appeared to include management, ownership, or individuals closely connected to the establishment. One man in particular -- wearing a green shirt, green hat, and glasses -- repeatedly gave our group hostile looks and made rude remarks throughout our visit. Even after most of our group had left, he continued antagonizing the remaining guests who were simply trying to finish the wine they had already purchased. Unfortunately, the service from the staff was no better. Both servers were unprofessional and unpleasant. One appeared more focused on acting like security than providing hospitality, while the female server was openly rude. As we were leaving, she began moving furniture into us in a way that felt aggressive and entirely inappropriate. What makes this even worse is that none of this happened before we spent our money -- it happened after. We were welcome enough to pay, but apparently not welcome enough to stay. It is hard not to question whether the diversity of our group made the staff or management uncomfortable, because there was no other reasonable explanation for the treatment we received. The wine may be good, but it does not excuse the hostility, poor service, and overall lack of respect shown to paying customers. If you are visiting this shopping center and have the option to support another business or restaurant, I strongly recommend that you do so. There are plenty of places that will gladly take your business without making you feel judged, targeted, or unwelcome. read more

Wow, what a find! We stumbled upon Marshall Stuart's Wines last weekend and I'm still thinking about our visit. We almost drove past it looking for the bigger commercial tasting rooms, but I'm SO glad we stopped. Marshall himself poured our wines and honestly, it felt like we were visiting a friend's house rather than a business. He remembered details about other guests who were there, asked about our wine preferences, and actually listened! His wife Shannon popped in and out, making sure everyone had a wonderful time. The wines themselves - fantastic! I'm not a wine expert by any means, but Marshall explained everything in a way that made sense without being condescending. He told us about how he sources his grapes, why he chose certain barrels, and even let us taste the difference between two vintages of the same wine. The tasting room is cozy and comfortable - not stuffy at all.. Fair warning - this isn't the place if you want a quick pour and go. But if you want to actually learn about wine from people who genuinely love what they do and treat you like family, this is your spot. Pricing was really fair too, especially considering the quality and the experience. Definitely joining their wine club! read more

This was a beautiful place, with a nice cool area for sitting. We were taking a break before the final soccer tournament, and were told that we must order something to sit there. (Which ALL the families in attendance did.) After we spent over $200, on drinks, we were immediately, (before we could even finish 1 glass of wine) were told to leave. The girls were calm, , quiet and polite.It was disgusting! We will NEVER be back! The girls were not running, yelling, or being disruptive.That is a lie! I was sitting right in the middle of them. Not family friendly! Our group of 10-year-old girls soccer team sought refuge from the heat during a tournament, and we were treated as a nuisance rather than customers. I have seen management's responses to other reviewer, and I must address the blatant inaccuracies being shared. To be clear: the children were supervised, they were not climbing on furniture, and they were not running around. They were simply talking and laughing--behaviors you'd expect from children. But its clear with your replies, you are deflecting and defensive which says alot about the way you conduct business. We were told we must purchase items to stay, which we did. However, as soon as our money was spent, we were immediately asked to leave. Not even being awarded tim to finish our drinks! It is disheartening to see a local business resort to "flat-out lies" in their public responses to justify their lack of hospitality. If you only wish to serve a specific "type" of clientele and cannot handle the presence of families, you are in the wrong industry. We had the exact opposite experience at a neighboring establishment the day prior; it's a shame this winery doesn't share that same community spirit. read more

I was hearing so much about Marshall Stuart opening a location in Vail Ranch Headquarters, and was happy to finally get around to visiting recently with a group celebrating Halloween. What a great addition to this fun area! The large tasting room is western themed with a warm, comfortable ambiance, and there are picnic tables outside. Service was great and wines were awesome, of course. With lots of eateries and shopping right here, you can grab some food and enjoy it with MS wine at a table outside which is what we did! This whole Vail HQ area is family and pet-friendly, making it a fantastic location if you're looking for a wine tasting experience outside the norm. We will definitely be back! read more

Great wine and great people! My wife and I normally are not very impressed with most of the wines from Temecula, we have belonged to several wine clubs and have since cancelled. We were very impressed with the quality of wines! We usually have to go up to Sonoma or Paso Robles to experience wines that we truly enjoy. I've been here 30 years and have tried them all. If you are a California Zinfandel fan, look no further. Marshall belongs in the same Zin Celebrity class as Helen Turley, Tobin James, Doug Nello, Joel Peterson, and Ted Seghesio. All of his wines are superb, and he is responsible for bringing certain varietals to the region that are now featured by nearly all of the wineries here in Temecula. Arriving at the winery you feel part of an old western movie set. Coffee shops, restaurants and beer establishments. But the winery is the gem. I first tried a Marshall Stuart Wine while dining at a local Italian restaurant and really liked it, so when I saw that there was a Marshall Stuart tasting room nearby, I was excited to check it out. We are wine club members elsewhere and have been looking for a new winery to join. We arrived tonight for an evening glass of wine. There was a pretty good band playing, and it was busier than I expected. We walked up to the bar area, looking to learn a little bit about their wines before deciding on what to order. We were helped by a very tall guy in a cowboy hat who was not all that helpful. When we asked what he recommended, he pointed to a wine on the menu (Tatria), and poured a small tasting in a glass. My husband wasn't sure if he wanted that particular wine, so the guy pointed to another wine. He wasn't very helpful or engaged. He just kind of stood there. I ordered a glass of the Petit Verdot, and he then turned over an iPad for us to pay (about $40 for 2 glasses of wine, plus gratuity) and never thanked us. We then walked outside since there was nowhere to sit inside, but realized there was nowhere to sit outside either. The place could use a few more tables. We stood under a tree that had a bar top built around it but there were no stools to sit on. We agreed the wine was good, but that was about it. At one point, an employee came outside and I noticed he went around the tables checking in on everyone, asking how everyone was doing, but he never acknowledged us. Overall, our experience at Marshall Stuart was a letdown, which is too bad because we enjoy their wine. read more
