This was the second winery we hit up. It has a casual ambiance with a quaint gift shop that sold handmade items. It was crowded but we managed to get patio seating outside. We got sangrias. The Mrs. and I spent Labor Day weekend in Temecula at the finest bed and breakfast you could ever ask for, The New Inn. We highly recommend it, but that's beside the point. While there, we went to a Danza Del Sol Winery. My wife loves wine, but I'm not much into it. She was energetic, fun, friendly, and SUPER knowledgeable! She made the whole experience a day to remember. I try to get out to the wineries in Temecula a few times a year. I was invited by my girlfriend, @Te-see B.,to try this one, which was a first for me. The indoor tasting room offers wine flights (red and/or white) samples. You may also buy by the glass or bottle to share. Staff is very knowledgeable about their products. I don't have much to compare it to, but wine tasting at Danza del Sol Winery did it right! Upon arriving, we were greeted by our tour guide, Ben, who was absolutely amazing! He started off our tour by pouring some us a nice glass of sparkling wine! Omg! So good! It was my absolute favorite! So much so, that I ended up coming home with 3 bottles of it. Then he took us out to the UTV and away we went! The ride was smooth and very relaxing! We made little pit stops throughout the vineyards, which allowed Ben to fill our glass! He was very knowledgeable and taught us a thing or two. He even offered to be our photographer and took some really nice photos of my family and I. The tour also included a stop at the distillery which was very interesting. After our 1 tour, we went back to the wine room where we got more wine and a little charcuterie board. It was all so delicious. Walter, the manager, made his way to our table to check in and make sure we were being well taken care of. Every employee there was warm and welcoming. We went on the UTV vineyard tour at Danza del Sol and had a wonderful time. Our host Dave was incredibly friendly, and he made it interesting and fun...and made sure our glasses were always full. We must have tried at least 10 wines of which we enjoyed almost all... especially the Sauvignon Blanc, Sangiovese, and Grenache. The vineyard is beautiful, with rolling hills and nearby horse rescue. Speaking of which, Dave brought along some carrots so we could stop and feed the sweet horses. Definitely a highlight. The ride is about 45 minutes and you taste a few different white wines out in different parts of the vineyard. Then you go back to the tasting room (Dave had a reserved table waiting for us outside) and try red wines with a small plate of charcuterie. They provide information on their wine club membership but there was no hard sell. It was a pretty great afternoon. read more

We had such a great afternoon at Danza del Sol Winery! We decided to upgrade our visit and do the Grapes and Gears UTV tour, and it was totally worth it. The experience included wine tasting, delicious food pairings, and some seriously beautiful views. Our tour guide, Ben, was fantastic--super friendly, knowledgeable, and even took a few pictures for us. One of the best parts was stopping at the top of the hill for a tasting while taking in the scenery. We loved it so much that we ended up joining the wine club on the spot! Since then, we've already been back twice, and every visit has been just as amazing. The wines are fantastic, and the staff is always so warm and welcoming.
