Prior to booking with Temecula Black Car, I did a ton of research and looked at a handful of other companies, but Temecula Black Car offered the best deal, had the best reviews, and I went with my gut (glad I did!) I was able to make a reservation online and received an email confirmation shortly after. I was able to select the 3 wineries I wanted to visit in the notes section. On the day of, they arrived right on time with a sparkling clean bus that was roomy enough for all 9 of us. This was my 4th trip to Temecula and so I decided to book a private tour using TBC, as opposed to one of the larger companies you'll see around. Wow, I will ALWAYS use Temecula Black Car for future wine tours. Chris was amazing, taking us to not one, not two, not three, not 4, but FIVE amazing wineries throughout our 11am-6pm trip. We never felt rushed at all, like other companies we've used. The wineries we were taken to were also much less crowded, had much better tasting wines and just overall higher quality. This was the second time we used TBC and it was amazing again. Tony picked us up in North County and drove us up to lunch and wine tasting in Temecula. He made excellent recommendations of wineries to explore. He dropped us off right at the front door and, with a text, he was right there waiting when we were finished. It's such a reasonable option to avoid a DUI and ensure everyone can have fun in Temecula, but Tony also provides the highest quality and level of service. I had a misunderstanding about pickup time (it was 10 and I had 11 on my calendar somehow), and he was incredibly gracious and just adjusted his schedule. He took us to some really good wineries- Doffo, Masia, Briar Rose, and Robert Renzoli. Lunch at The Pinnacle. It was a really good experience. All wine tastings and one entree lunch included. In response to the vendor/owner's attempt to justify and legitimize their actions and poor attitude, I submit the following rebuttal. Firstly, I stand by my previous 1-star review, without recanting any of my comments!!! Of the more than 1300 reviews I've posted, only 5% have been 1-star reviews. Unfortunately, this vendor merits only 1 star!!! To address vendor's claims: 1. The owner NOW says his cab was out of service. HOWEVER, previously he said we hadn't reserved the cab (untrue), AND the day of the trip, he ADVISED us someone else had the cab. SO WHICH IS IT?....YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!! And yes, while the driver did offer to move us to the bus, the four of us wanted to be in a more intimate setting than a 16-passenger (limo) bus! 2. AGAIN, a misstatement by the owner. When we booked the reservation, we were told there were NO ALTERNATIVES to Pinnacle for lunch!! And how do you explain an hour and a half wait for lunch, in a noisy and crowded environment? If you know that weekends are busy, LET'S GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! 3. My wife most assuredly DID reserve the taxi cab, and for Tony to have previously insinuated that my wife was not telling the truth DOES NOT excuse his arrogance and lack of civility to a customer and a fellow human being!!! Response from Temecula Black Car is incorrect. I called on 9/22 for a 9/25 reservation (lets count 22, 23, 24, 25-- 4 days in my book) not 3 as they indicated. Bottom line, be more professional. Comfirm with your customers in a manner that is detailed and CLEAR. If someone says it is a GO, provide specific instructions on how to secure the reservation. Take a security deposit as confirmation perhaps?? Be apologetic when a customer calls and you have dropped the ball. Offer to make it right. None of this was done. Do better. Also people read the review by Lawrence C. Sounds a bit familiar- poor communication and execution. And little accountability. And placing passive aggessive blame on the customer will never serve you well. There are lots of transportation companys out there people, pass on this one. read more

I've used Temecula Black Car twice and will continue for all my Temecula trips. In September 2022, my husband an d i went to Temecula to celebrate our anniversary. We were picked up by Cindy who not only made us a beautiful anniversary card, but helped us with all our reservations for the day. We had not visited Temecula for a while and did not know we needed reservations for some of the vineyards. On my second trip, a birthday celebration in January 2023, we were picked up by Sergio. Again, another amazing trip. He was early and drove us around all day, telling us not to rush. It was pouring rain and Sergio continued to be a gentleman, opening doors for us as he saw us running back to the car. Cindy even made us bithday cards for the 2 people in our group. Our driver, Tony, was very nice helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area, the wineries and of course the wine. This was a 5 star experience for my 30th birthday! Scheduling was very easy with Tony, who was very receptive and gave great recommendations. Our driver, Chris was outstanding!! He was friendly, charismatic, knowledgeable about the wineries, and made our day memorable. There were 6 of us, $90 a person which is a great deal! We even had a member that wasn't drinking, and they discounted his share for $50. The van was very luxurious with decorations, ability to connect your own music, and very roomy. We had such a great time. I was concerned because I managed to book a tour at the hottest time of the day and the hottest day on record I think. To add to that, because of COVID all the wine tasting was outside. However, our driver Chris was absolutely delightful. We LOVED the wines we tasted and bought a bottle at each place. Absolutely terrible experience. Everything was going ok and at the last winery, they lost track of our order so they called Tony (our driver??) instead of speaking with us. Who does that? We offered to pay extra if it made it easier. Instead Tony acted like we did something wrong, didn't ask us if there was any problem. Just went off whatever he got from the call. I asked if he was our rep or the wineries, his response was he has to rep Temecula Black car and has to work with these wineries. Complete disregard for our experience. The first impression you get from Tony is what you'll get for the rest of your ride. Good luck. The van rocks like crazy on the freeway, good luck with the AC and seatbelts. On the good side. Excellent experience! This was a last minute trip to Temecula, and they were very helpful in securing reservations at the wineries that required them. Cindy personalized our experience with a nice notecard, and flexibility at each winery. We were able to send a text when we were getting ready to go, and she'd be there waiting with the AC on. If we had another reservation that we were getting pressed on for time, she'd send us a reminder text to keep us on schedule. We booked them from 10am-5pm, so we had Cindy drop us at the last winery, and our plans were to Uber home. Unfortunately we could not find an Uber driver, so out of desperation I contacted Cindy. We had our dog, Maverick, with us this weekend and he was able to join us on our wine tasting adventure with no problem.
