We love their sister winery somerset and decided to try Bella vista. They had a Groupon and were able to get 12 tastings for $20, great deal. The winery felt old, and needed an update. They have an outdoor area, but it was under construction, and required a trek from the tasting room. Compared to somerset it wasn't a disappointment!

I really enjoyed my wine tasting at Bella Vista. There is probably my favorite winery in Temecula for red wine. The winery itself is outdated and is in need of a complete makeover (it's in the works). We were lucky enough to be there when there was live music so we really enjoyed our experience because of it. They also showed us their speakeasy...yes, they have a speakeasy on the weekends -looks view but it was pretty empty when we were there. I highly suggest a stop if you're ever in Temecula for wine tasting

Bella Vista winery is really coming along. The wine tasting room has been revamped a little with some updates of new light scones and a pretty chandelier over the bar area. The front entrance has also been freshened up. The biggest update they have done lately is the addition of a speak easy. The entrance is through a hidden door behind the bookshelf. Inside is dark, warm and cozy, with brick walls, high wood ceilings, a piano at one end (for evening performances) and a small bar at the other end. Picture a Friday night, sipping on a cocktail, listening to the music, and snacking on pizza that they serve from their kitchen. They aren't able to serve distilled spirits just yet. For now it's wine based cocktails. They are still working on the upper area wine tasting room. This is where the beautiful views are. They offer a few Somerset wines, including a $60 bottle of buttery Chardonnay. Too pricey for me, but I'm sure it's good. Today my glass of wine was a Bella Vista Syrah. It was pretty good. Keep up the good work you are doing here Bella Vista/Somerset family!

Great overall experience and a great value! Purchased a Groupon months ago and made my return after a great first experience. Janet was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The Groupon is a great deal for anyone looking to "get into" wine tasting, but the wine servers are a value in and of themselves. They know what they are serving and a little conversation will lead you into the best experience; with good wine, atmosphere, and company. If you're in the area, this place is a fun stop amongst many others to choose from. They also have a great selection of snacks that pair well with the variety of wines. There is a great view outside worth checking out. Definitely can make a whole day out of a visit to wine country.

Came to the winery in April to use a Groupon tasting for two that our Secret Santa got for us. The winery is tucked away just off the main road. My wife and I stopped by on our way to Legoland. We stopped by right at opening at 11am on a Thursday and beat the morning rush. The tasting room has a nice and comforting ambiance. You can stand at the bar, or relax in the comfortable swivel seats. Our 3 year old enjoyed the seating and we didn't have to worry about him roaming around or getting into trouble. I am a sweet wine guy, and I don't drink much. If you like sweet wines, the 2022 Rozmaring is an absolute must try... it was so good we actually went home with 3 bottles haha.

Delicious wines, great service from the bartenders, beautiful decor. The air-conditioning was full blast inside. We loved it!

Top winery - excellent wine, incredible service. Matt, the bartender, is the best! Highly recommend Malbec and Syrahs.

Had an amazing wine tasting experience at Bella Vista! We booked via Groupon and it was an extremely affordable tasting that came with 6 pours from their menu and their sister winery menu. We especially enjoyed the Symphony and White Cabernet from their menu. The selection was very expansive as well - there's a lot of options for folks that enjoy different wines! We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed, thankfully it was very spacious and clean. The staff here are also extremely friendly and always walking by to make sure you're topped up. Highly recommend bringing your own crafts and snacks since they have tables. The view above the winery was also beautiful - it's a great overlook and drinks are also served above. Would recommend!

Great service and from knowledge from Matt & Janette, they explained each wine and where very friendly! Recommend 100% percent.

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday and I LOVED it! Matt was assisting us with our tasting and made the experience amazing. The grounds are so pretty and relaxing perfectly shaded under trees. The view is better from the tasting room but still breathtaking. As my first winery this was a great start and they have a great deal on Groupon for a tasting! 10/10

It was our first time here! Janet was the coolest sommelier EVER!!! We did a wine tasting tour for my sister-in-law and she was very patient with us, explained things to us and told us how everything worked. She was so friendly! We're definitely coming back for the speaker easy they have here!!!

Our plan was to relax, make memories, have good food and wine, and experience the beauty of Temecula wine country. Miramonte was our first vineyard and we had dinner there on the patio. We got a table that didn't have a view and instead it was in the middle of the patio dining area. There were so many other guests around us and it was loud. At least it was shaded and I think there were misters...? So that made things enjoyable in terms of the heat. We ordered their pitcher of White Sangria (which was somewhere around $42-$48). It said there was going to be peach in the batch with other fruit. The result was frozen berries in a very water downed pitcher if white wine and ice. I hate to say this, but I have had better White Sangria at The Olive Garden. The one I make at home was 100 x's better. For food we ordered the Charcuterie Board, which was huge! That was a very impressive display of cured meats and cheeses. Totally loved the pickled vegetables! We also ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Oaxacan Pepperoni & Honey Flatbread, and Truffle Garlic Fries (I think they said "truffle," but I could ne wrong because all I tasted was garlic and parm). The Mushrooms were delicious! I would order that dish again, but then again I am a lover of mushrooms. At the end, I was surprised to not get any Bach party recognition. Most of the places we went to, my girls and I got perks for the celebration. I mean the hostess didn't even wish a "Congratulations." At least she was nice to get a group shot with the beautiful sunset. I am usual a 5-star giver and I feel bad giving this place a 2-star. Luckily some of the food was actually good, so thank goodness a 3-star is the final result. I mean Miramonte did set our bar very low for the rest of the wineries thus making the other ones we went to on our trip were supreme -- which were Akash and Ponte. Both Akash and Ponte were aaaaaaamazing!

The beauty of Vienza, the authenticity of Bolero (+ the incredible restaurant), and the simplicity of C'est La Vie are all really alluring. They each have their own appeal. What gets overlooked is the staff. I feel like I'm going to Cheers when I go there. Everyone knows me. Special shout out to their best employees, starting with my faves Rebecca - always happy and chipper, awesome conversation and customer service. Preston - very chill and has an understated sense of humor that I really like, great service too. Elijah - makes me feel like we've been great friends for 20 years. Dr. Doug - the best wine server in the Bolero VIP lounge. Rachael - will sit and engage with you for as long as you want, on any topic that you want. Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!

He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same.
