There are multiple seating areas - the main veranda, an extended seating area directly to the side of the main deck (veranda), and cabana seating (deposit required). First of all, I would give this place negative stars if that were an option, but unfortunately the minimum is one. This was by far the worst experience I've had at a winery--and I've been a member at several over the years. I'm well aware that most wineries stop tastings about an hour before closing, which is why we specifically asked our server if we had enough time. We told him that if not, we'd just order a glass instead. He assured us we had plenty of time and said as long as we received our final pour before closing, we'd be fine. Based on that, we ordered three tastings at $30 each. Shortly after, a very rude employee named Star approached us and told us they were closing soon and that we needed to either quickly finish our remaining four pours or she would take them away. It genuinely felt like she was about to grab the glasses out of our hands. We explained that we were told we had enough time, which is why we chose tastings instead of a single glass. She responded dismissively and went to get the manager. The manager (I don't remember her name but she was a white older lady) gave us an additional 10 minutes but made it clear we needed to rush and leave. This is not the level of service--or experience--I expect, especially when I'm paying for a tasting. If you order food at a restaurant before closing, you're not forced out the second the clock hits closing time. I completely understand staff wanting to go home, which is exactly why we asked in advance. To make matters worse, I found a phone in the bathroom and turned it in to the rude manager. Somewhere during that time, I accidentally left my wallet behind which now I believe was purposely not returned to me. I called repeatedly over the next two weeks and was told multiple times that it would be mailed to me. After being given the runaround and leaving about five voicemails, nothing was ever sent. I live over 2.5 hours away and ultimately had to drive back to retrieve it myself. Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. I've never been treated so poorly at a winery, and I would not return or recommend this place to anyone. read more

We had a very frustrating experience at Miramonte Winery and will not be returning. Our group arrived about an hour before closing and specifically asked if we had enough time to do a full tasting. We were told it wouldn't be a problem, so we all ordered tastings (6 wines each). The wine itself was just okay, but the atmosphere was nice with live music, and we were enjoying our time. Things quickly went downhill when we went back inside for the next round. We were suddenly told we had only 15 minutes to finish everything because they were closing. The bartender then poured all remaining tastings at once, which felt rushed and unnecessary. About 10 minutes later, an employee named Star came over and rudely told us they were closed and we needed to throw away the four tastings we hadn't even tried yet and leave. I explained that we hadn't finished and would leave shortly, but she escalated the situation by calling her manager and claiming we were refusing to leave. The manager came over and, while giving us an extra 10 minutes, was also unfriendly and dismissive. The whole situation felt poorly handled and unnecessary, especially since we had asked about timing upfront. To make matters worse, my girlfriend accidentally left her wallet behind. For two weeks, we called multiple times and were told a manager would mail it back (we live in LA, about two hours away). It was never sent, and we ultimately had to drive back to pick it up ourselves. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had at a winery. Very disappointing. read more

Nice inside or with pets a large outdoor covered patio. Star R was a pleasant server who helped us at this pet friendly vineyard. They even brought our water bowls for our fur babies. Today we chose a BBQ chicken flatbread and glass of red and white sangria. The flatbread pizza was great and came with free range chicken, house made BBQ sauce, authentic pinsa crust, cilantro, red onion, poblano peppers, marinara and a blend of four cheeses. 5/5 delicious and would get again. This is a lovely place that sits on a hill and provides a view to amazing sunsets! On the night we were there they had a live 80s band so that was a lot of fun. I wish they would have had more seating. But if you can't sit, you might as well dance to the band. Everyone enjoyed the wine. I don't even know if they had food. Maybe we weren't hungry or maybe they didn't have it, no idea. There were long lines at the bar. But that was OK. Overall, the ambience of this place was just lovely. They have built in restrooms and then fancy portapotty style restrooms. The signage on the extra restrooms was not great. Be careful that you're entering into the correct gender restroom. Eek! Parking is ample, but you have a little bit of a trek up the hill unless you get one of the great spots. It was OK though we dropped off our friend who has hard time walking at the top and then drove back down to find parking. I would love to come back here again. read more

Came here on Saturday for lunch at their on premise restaurant. I came with my friend, my mom and my mom's friend. They don't take reservations so it's walk-ins only. They sat us down immediately. It was a beautiful day out and our server Dave was awesome. We ordered wine slushy, and those are so tasty and refreshing. I ordered the chef special duck with carrots in our ground potatoes. My friend ordered beef sliders, and my mother ordered steak frites. All the food was delightful. We all shared each other so we could taste a little bit of everything. We were nice and full. After that we did wine tasting which cost about $32 each for 6 tastings. I love their peach Bellini, piña colada and almond sparkling wine. I ended up buying a bottle of watermelon sparkling wine for my mother since she loved it so much. Came here for a friend's 40th. She's a member and reserved a couple of cabanas so this review is based on that experience. We didn't venture out into the public area. Location is cute and the cabanas being perched over the vineyard was a nice touch. We had the spot for 4 hours, which was a good amount of time to eat, drink, and chill. It does get super sunny but luckily the cabanas have curtains that can be closed. We got a bunch of food. The Mediterranean nachos were surprisingly good. I liked the pita chips. No protein so good option for those who don't eat meat. Salmon Caesar was decent and the salmon was seasoned and cooked well. Good portion too. Got the stuffed mushrooms, which were nice and cheese. I'm not a mushroom guy but I got down with these. Food ended with a couple of the flatbreads, which I'd also recommend. The Oaxacan honey one was particularly delicious. Of course there was the wine. I think having the cabanas allowed you a 6 glass tasting/flight, which was a great way to sample the different offerings. We also got a couple pitchers of the sangrias, which I feel are definitely worth trying. Both the red and the white were delicious, though I wish they had more than just one type of fruit in each. The public area got pretty lively in the evening with a live band. There's a large outdoor seating area but it was fairly packed. If you're into a more raucous vibe, I'd camp it in the front. For those who want a more private/chill vibe, get a cabana. Staff was friendly and prompt. We were regularly waited on and I'd say the whole experience was fantastic and would definitely recommend. We loved this place! My sister and I spent July 4th in Temecula. We had many places to choose from but opted for this one because they had live music starting at 3pm. Upon arrival, we were seated right away at the patio. This place is huge! Indoor is only for wine tasting. We got 6 staples for $30. My favorite one was the red sangria. Staff members were pleasant. They seemed understaffed for the July 4th weekend but did their best to attend to us. They refilled our water frequently since alcohol tends to dehydrated. The food was delicious! Unfortunately, thankfully, we haven't touched the charcuterie board because we found a piece of long hair that is wrapped around my pickles. On Sunday Funday they have things like jumpers for kids, a vendor marketplace,and live music. It was packed so we actually had to park in overflow near the entrance . Lovely spot for libations and light bites! I wasn't too hungry because I ate lunch beforehand, so my friend suggested we meet here for drinks. Miramonte is along Rancho California Road, next to a bunch of other wineries. The lot was full when we visited, but they have an unpaved overflow area with plenty of parking. The golf cart picked us up and shuttled us to the entrance, which was great because it would have been a long walk in the dirt. We sat on the outdoor patio, where you can see the rolling hills and nearby vineyards. There was a live band playing covers of nostalgic hits. On the menu you will find a few appetizers, flats, sandwiches, salads, entrees, and desserts. Their wine list contained 18 different options. There is a 1% Temecula Valley Wine and Agricultural Heritage District assessment fee, which I believe they pass onto the customers. Me being a total amateur when it comes to anything vino related, the staff member suggested I order a Red Sangria and mix it with a red wine. It was a sweet and fruity mix of blackberries, raspberries, plums, and peaches. My friend enjoyed the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2020 Opulente. I wouldn't recommend getting food while painting because it gets messy and your easel is in the way. You have to work around it to get your food or put anything down. We were really looking forward to brunch here, but the service completely ruined the experience. Our waitress didn't seem familiar with the drink menu at all. When I asked if they had lemonade, she said no and listed soft drinks instead, so we ordered Sprite. But this time, I felt a little different and disappointed. since I was breastfeeding, so I couldn't enjoy the wine, my husband and my mom enjoyed a bottle which was pretty nice. But food is not as good as I remember. The only thing is good is the cheese stuffed mushrooms. The flatbread and burger are so so and over priced. I don't think they are worth the price, even though the view is nice, but it's a little too much. Also our waitress is very casual, making me feel I was in a diner. Being a member for over 10 years, the rudeness from the server approaching our table after we were sat by a manager was uncalled for and very disrespectful. My family comes at least once a month and we would not sit anywhere we are not allowed to sit at. The servers should be aware that not all people sitting in areas that are "$50" minimum a person should not be treated like they do not belong. Being a server in this industry for over 10 years, I am aware guests may seat themselves but receiving an attitude after stating we were sat in the area we sat in, there shouldn't be an attitude or rudeness. Was here recently with our large group. While our server Ricardo was magnificent and friendly in every way, I was truly put off by a second server (don't know if he was a bus boy) older big guy with beard. He refused to take a photo for us in a very rude way which was embarassing. As we were actually celebrating an occasion and came from almost 2 hours away, it did put a damper on our lunch. Very disappointed by our brunch experience. To start with I was so excited to see that brunch was returning to Miramonte. I had enjoyed it years ago when they offered it pre-Covid. I saw a Facebook post that said brunch with bottomless mimosas and I new I wanted to try it out! I made a reservation for yesterday(March 15) because we had friends visiting from AZ. I thought it would be a great time at a winery that I really enjoy and has such a nice view. Well, that's not how it turned out. To start with our reservation was at 11:00AM which is the time the winery opens so there was a long line waiting to get in. We got seated with 1 brunch menu for 4 people and then were told that they don't do the main menu items for brunch which 1 person had already chosen. Another issue was there was nothing about bottomless mimosas on the menu--we asked and our waiter said they don't do that. Strike 1. My biggest complaint is when I went to order the Chilaquiles from the brunch menu and asked for them to leave off the cheeses and crema sauce the waiter said they don't do ANY modifications. Seriously?! I am allergic to dairy and you can't leave off the cheese?? There was no real options for a gluten and dairy free brunch. If it was just me there without my friends I would have left but I didn't think we would be able to get in anywhere else this late of notice for brunch. I decided to get one of the items on the menu which was sausage or bacon with eggs and potatoes. It also came with toast but I gave that to my hubby. I thought I would be ok but then the meal arrived and the potatoes had a dusting of some kind of cheese, which I noticed AFTER taking a bite. Ugh. It did not mention that on the menu. I was unhappy with the whole experience and later had a belly ache from that cheese. Luckily, my friends really enjoyed their food. Service was slow but they were trying it seemed.
