What a wonderful experience! We were in town for 1 day and knew we had to do something like this. Our tour was 3 vineyards with lunch provided. We were also picked up at our hotel and were the first ones, so we had a great time getting to know Mike (the Wandering Wino) while we made the drive to get the others. Mike really did make this a great experience for all of us, what a host! Our tour was on Thursday, which we learned was significantly less busy than the weekends. We were picked up around 10am and got back to our hotel close to 4pm and it was an absolutely wonderful day! We were a group of 6 and became fast friends. We had something like 6 tastings at each place, and a discount on what you buy. We ended up leaving with a total of 2 bottles of wine and some marinara sauce. Mike was a blast, each winery was amazing, and our lunch was super tasty! They do this tour in different areas of California and I would love to check those out. read more

We've been going down to Temecula for at least 8 years, even got married there last year at South Coast Winery last year in 2025! But in all that time had never done a guided winery tour, so when we decided to do one on our one year anniversary, we were recommended Grapeline and we were not disappointed! From the very beginning the person that helped us with our reservation, was helpful, supportive, and flexible, they even picked us up at our winery! Which obviously was a huge plus including dropping us off after the tour! But I have to tell you, our tour guide Liz made the day of wine tasting at 3 different wineries fun, exciting and informative. She was high energy from the minute we stepped on the tour van! (Killer playlist!) And her recommendations for the different wines at each winery were spot on! She has connections at all the wineries too, and we even got an upgrade for a tractor tour that was not part of our original tour at one of the wineries. We toured the vineyards while tasting our wines, and even went to see how the wine was made and fermented. Like I said, I have never done a guided tour but we could not have been more pleased. I was recommended the Grapeline Wine Tour from the Front Desk agent that checked me in at the Embassy Suites. I can confirm I really enjoyed the tour! The individuals that were on the tour with me made it even more fun. Our tour guide and driver, Tony, was very knowledgable about the area, its history, and wine making. They texted me the night before and the day of the tour reminding about the pick date & time. I really appreciated that they offer transportation. Tony picked me up from the hotel, along with other individuals of the tour, and he also dropped us off at the end of the tour. The drive was really fun because Tony let us take over the aux. He's also very knowledgable about the area, so we learned a lot about Temecula's history and other wineries during the drive. At the end of the tour, Tony even gave us dinner recommendations based on our preferences. Thank you Tony! We visited three different wineries: Wilson Creek Winery, Cougar Vineyard & Winery, and Fazeli Cellars Winery. My favorite winery from the three was Wilson Creek Winery. We tasted 6 wines at Wilson Creek, 5 wines at Cougar, and 6 wines at Fazeli! We had a guided tour by "Motor City Mike" at Wilson Creek. He is an incredible teacher. He gave us a tour around the winery, educated us about viniculture and corks, and taught us about the Wilson's history. They also acknowledged my birthday by giving me a necklace with a cork on it. Such a sweet gesture. We did not have a guided tour at the other two wineries. Lunch was included. While booking on their website, you get to choose which sandwich you'd like. We ate lunch at the Cougar Vineyard & Winery. I chose the roast beef sandwich, and it comes with a side of salad and a brownie. The winery is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The best part is that they're pet-friendly! They even have adoption opportunities, and you can meet the puppies! I completely forgot the names of the wine I tasted, but I thought the wine was okay. Our last stop was at Fazeli Cellars Winery. The structure and outdoor area is very nice. Service is very courteous, attentive, and knowledgable. I thought it was unique because their wine contains interesting ingredients, especially the sweet wines. A friend I met on the tour ordered a flat bread, and we shared it. The flat bread was delicious and paired well with the wine. Highly recommend Grapeline Wine Tours! This was an unforgettable birthday experience. My only critique is that I prefer a guided tour at each winery because I'd like to learn more about its history, their own wine, and their own techniques in wine making. read more

This was the first Wine Tour I've ever been on, and it was such a memorable and fun experience. Grapeline provided us with transportation to and from the three different wineries we went to, provided a great lunch for us, and excellent service and vibes. Amanda and Dave (firefighter Dave!) were our tour guides for the experience, and both were incredible. They arrived on time and provided us with great commentary about the history of the wineries we were going to as we were driving up to them. They then dropped us off with the winery staff, who were amazing at all three wineries we went to. Overall, Amanda and Dave made it a great experience for me and the party I was with. David was amazing! He was early for pick up and very informative on the tour. He was helpful as well carrying the case of wine on to the bus. He was funny and great at taking the group to photo worthy locations. He took great pictures. He got us back home on time like he said he would. The bus was clean and comfy. Each person is able to plug in a usb cord to charge their phones/accessories. Each person can control their AC. The party can connect their music to the bus. The bus has cubbies for snacks, luggage. Grapevine Wine Tours is the TRUTH. Omg. I've never experienced a winery, so I was blown away by how well coordinated this experience was. Vaughnmarie was the woman who hosted us. She was such a sweetheart, extremely knowledgeable about the vineyards we were visiting along with the regions their wine varietals were from, gave spot on recommendations and had a surprisingly great playlist. Everyone on our tour was celebrating something: anniversaries, birthdays, friendship, etc so the vibes were superb. We started as strangers and ended as family. This is my second time doing the tour and overall I'm pretty disappointed in the experience. Mostly I'm disappointed that we did not get the behind-the-scenes tour and that was what my friends are I were really looking forward to. We were told that due to the heat it was canceled which is understandable, but if they were going to cancel a portion of what we paid for then we should have been told ahead of time. The 4 wineries we went to didn't have anything special that was worth purchasing either and the pourers were just rushing back and forth for two of the wineries so it was difficult to ask questions. I attended the tour last Saturday 6/6/26 with Liz and Marcos. These comments have nothing to do with them. Liz was a fantastic tour guide/host who was sweet, funny, caring and knowledgeable. Marcos was a great, safe driver and actually hung out with all of us and had a great personality. This has everything to do with the wine tastings and wineries.  $170 plus tip is pricey but was willing to spend it so my sis and I could enjoy our time.  The wineries SUCKED to be blunt!! Danza, Couger, and Maurice are played out, overdone and cheap. Maurice is ghetto! All the wineries had children running all over. The wine tasting pours weren't enough to decide if you liked the wine or not. Very skimpy. NO ONE in the group bought bottles at any of the wineries. The group felt cheated.  At cougar, we were told we're getting half glass with lunch and 3 of 6 tastings were already marked off. It was barely a taste and our entire table was pissed.  I had to be the one to stand up and let Liz know. She got us an extra tasting but we all still felt ripped off.  We were told we were getting a glass of sparking wine to start at Maurice. It was a Rose that tasted like water with pink dye.  What happened to taking us to 4 wineries and the upscale feel of each winery??? The food at Couger was decent. I think Grapeline was a let down. They were in charge of curating a great day and they missed the mark big time read more

My experience with Grapevine wine tours was amazing. To start it was a very beautiful day to be touring. I am local to the area and had no idea these vineyards had restaurants and were open to the public. So this tour opened my mind to a different lifestyle and places to dine outside of the city. My guide Mindy Gaylor, was very professional and knowledgeable about the vineyard. Her hospitality made us feel very welcomed and she was very attentive. She was a great host, provided water, and got the door at the shuttle and at the vineyards while coming and going from the vineyards. She also brought my wine and souvenirs to the shuttle so I can be free of carrying items around and be more attentive to my date. I don't normally leave reviews but....Mike completely set the bar for what a wine tour should be. Despite the rainy, cloudy weather, he turned what could've been a quiet day into an unforgettable experience. It was just my partner and me on the tour, and instead of it feeling awkward or shortened, Mike leaned into it and made it feel incredibly personal and special. He was beyond accommodating, full of great stories, solid recommendations, and--honestly--his humor and kindness made the entire day. The five-hour tour flew by so fast it felt like an hour. That's how good it was. This was my first wine tour and my persons second tour, and Mike made it hands-down the best experience either of us have had. We'll only come back if Mike is our guide. 5-stars for our tour guide Mindy and driver Randy! This was me and my wife's first time ever going on a wine tour and I'm glad we chose the right one out of all the different options. We were the first couple to be picked up from our resort, and Mindy explained the day's itinerary and even allowed us to take a photo of the schedule for the day so we knew exactly how the day will go. Mindy also took the time to give us some restaurant recommendations for dinner after the tour to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The wine includes wine tasting at 3 wineries and a provided lunch. We were taken to Wiens, Cougar, and Somerset and I chose the roast beef sandwich option that came with a salad, brownie, and a bottle of water. I drank so much wine at the 1st winery, by the time we got to the other two I was not able to drink as much. The group had more energy after visiting the 1st winery and we all got pretty close towards the end of the trip. The music played in the bus was on the spot and made the whole day very memorable. Listen y'all we had the best time on our tour with LIZ & JOSÈ. The buss was dancing and cheering to the music. Liz knew loads of off the book info on the 8 wineries we visited and had us turning and burning at each one. Josè expertly navigated us through the windy roads and tight parking lots together us close to the action without having to walk a mile like some other groups were doing. I can't recommend this dynamic duo or the company enough. Booking through the company was easy and they had everything ready for us upon arrival setting us up for a perfect day in the wine country. I had previously toured with Grapeline on September 20th for The Local experience, which was incredible -- so I wanted to try something new this time around. Both tours are excellent, but each offers something a little different. Our driver and host, Mindy, was amazing -- bubbly, fun, and incredibly welcoming. She made everyone feel comfortable and kept the energy high throughout the afternoon. While the Classic didn't include a behind-the-scenes look at the wineries or much historical background about Temecula, it absolutely delivered on hospitality, good vibes, and beautiful winery stops. The charcuterie board (cheese plate for two) was delicious -- generous in portion and beautifully arranged. For anyone considering which tour to choose: * The Classic Wine Adventure is perfect if you're looking for a relaxed, social day filled with wine tastings, laughter, and scenic views. * The Local Wine Tour is better suited if you enjoy learning about the history, vineyards, and winemaking process -- and includes guided tours at each location.
