Got tickets for hot air balloon a year ago through third party. They redeemed our code via phone that made it non refundable. Flash forward three attempts later to rebook and getting canceled. And trying to get refunded being unsuccessful, We switched to do the wine tour instead which is less money ticket wise. All the communication was confusing the emails said one thing and they group text with others numbers as well. There were many numbers to call like three different ones. Then they made us do a mandatory 20$ tip per person before the tour which I found confusing because our original ticket was already more. We asked to waive it but they couldn't its thier policy. The bus tour had 30 people in it so it was cramped. The tour itself was cool three spots and hour spent on each site. But it felt more like a promotional tour. read more

What an incredible experience. We found the deal on Groupon for Sunrise Hotair Balloon ride. I will say, it did take forever to book as they have only certain slots assigned for Groupon. So even if their online says available, when you call, they advised it wasn't. So plan accordingly as we booked a few months out. I assume because they do various tours throughout the day, very seldom did someone answer the phone, however, they were great about returning calls which I appreciated. Our check in was at 5am. One of the girls (blond hair, sadly forgot the name I think maybe Shaylin) was extremely nice and welcoming. She had such a cherry personality and even asked us of our trip after we landed. Stacy was a bit on the unpleasant side. One of the people in our group asked if you could wear a hat and instead of just saying "no we don't recommend" we were greeted with condesending tone and were spoken to like we were a child. A "yes" or a "no" would have been sufficient. Joshua the pilot was knowledgeable, shared his experience, and was personable. And we also got to meet Megan who was one badass female pilot! This was our second time doing this with the same company and we lucked out and caught the same pilot as we did the last time we came here back in November 2022. It took us about an hour and 40 to get there from LA but we had to be there by 5:05 AM. There is an ample parking and the party bus picks us up and takes us over to where the balloon is getting air in it via the flame. Our pilot, as usual, funny and informative with the whole process of flying and how Mother Nature's basically in control. I will not lie they canceled on us several times, but obviously, regardless of the weather reports things can change regardless of the time of year. The last time we flew was in November 20 22 and this time we went for the summer and the end of July.. I highly recommend it and honestly if you keep getting canceled, don't worry you'll get the tour eventually and it's worth the wait. read more

We really enjoyed our hot air balloon ride with Uncorked Tours! We arrived a little before 5 am; we parked, checked in, and then took a bus to the takeoff site. Watching the sunrise over the horizon from the air was an awesome experience, and Temecula in general is a beautiful area. We were offered champagne, which was a nice touch! Our pilot, John, was very friendly and knowledgeable. One thing to note, the takeoff is dependent on weather conditions. We got unlucky with the weather a few times. Luckily for us, we don't live too far away so it's not that big of a hassle. If you're coming from out of town though, just be prepared to reschedule if necessary. read more

This company seems to be a scam. I have been canceled eight times due to ""weather". I already reported this to my credit card company that this company is fraudulent. I didn't pay the extra expense for the insurance to cancel. Therefore, they had my money and apparently didn't care about how many times we had to reschedule. I feel the people who actually get to go on the hot air balloon, ride since they paid the extra expense. Also I noticed other balloon companies that didn't cancel and saw the balloons in the air. Do not waste your time and money with these people! read more

Uncorked canceled our balloon tour twice, both at the last minute after we had already spent a lot of money on traveling to Temecula and securing an expensive hotel room there. On the first occasion (January 22, 2025), the company claimed there were "unstable, gusty wind conditions." On the second occasion (April 26, 2025), they claimed "drizzle during our scheduled flight time." However, on both days, other balloon companies in the same area conducted flights with no problems. In fact, on the morning of April 26, we counted at least EIGHT other balloons in the air or in the process of taking off-- all around the time that Uncorked claimed there was rain and unsafe conditions. The weather was in fact perfect for ballooning that morning, and Temecula did not get even a drop of rain until three hours later. That's exactly what the weather forecast said, including the forecast included with the cancellation notice. Based on patterns in this company's Google and Yelp reviews, they have scammed dozens of other customers out of thousands of dollars for balloon flights, always using the same flimsy weather excuse and refusing any further refunds. DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! read more

My husband and I received a gift voucher for a 4hour tour with Uncorked tours, and we were so happy we finally got to use it! A few days before our tour, we were sent the information where to park at a local grocery store and we got breakfast before hand. I definitely suggest getting breakfast before heading out. We ate at Alberto's and got their chorizo burrito which was delicious! We were promptly picked up at the agreed time of 1045a by a party bus, which comfortably sat the tour group of various parties, totaling approximately 20 people. Be advised, there is a gratuity you pay before leaving which goes to all the wineries and our hostesses Megan and Staci. That makes it easy being at the start of the day, you can enjoy the rest of the tour worry free. Megan was our driver and Staci gave us the details of each Winery, their history, how long they have partnered with Uncorked Tours, and what we were to expect: 5 glasses of wine at 3 wineries and mimosas in between on the bus!! Our first Winery was Maurice Carrie. We received a complimentary glass of wine and Uncorked Tours provided us complimentary sourdough bread and Brie cheese which was delicious. Staci helped take pictures of everyone and we all had the cutest poses. We sampled 5 different wines which was awesome. My personal favorite wine is the pomegranate sparkling wine. Our 2nd winery was Julie's Dream which is a newer winery but they know their stuff! By this time we are feeling good and enjoying getting to know everyone on the bus. We took more some photos here, and we had poker chips as our tokens to redeem for our 5 tasting samples. The Cabernet Franc was my favorite! If only I had bought a bottle! Next time! Our last winery was Somerset. We were able to do a winery tour, while sampling a couple of their wines. By this time everything was funny and we felt goooood. We really enjoyed the sights and sounds of being in Temecula. Their signature is a Cabernet named Drunk Bunnies. This one was my favorite and the story behind the name was hilarious. After our 5 tastings, it was back on the bus to take us back to our cars. The ride back was a party! At the end we all said our goodbyes. A huge shoutout to Megan and Staci for keeping it fun, lively and getting us safely to each location, and back again! read more
