Salmon toast with side salad
Renee I.

We stopped here for lunch during our little jaunt to Temecula. It was a Thursday afternoon so perhaps that explains the lack of people there. We enjoyed the lack of crowds. Btwn all of us we had salmon toast, steak frites, prime rib cheesesteak and ceviche takaki. Food was good but not rave worthy. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to go here again if I lived near there. We sat out on the ginormous back porch to enjoy the gorgeous weather. This also allowed us to stroll down around the property with kiddos who were not interested in sitting still at a table.

The members area at South Coast is an excellent courtyard area to enjoy wine. Service is great. Guys in the members lounge were excellent and helpful. Highly recommend. Excellent ambiance.

Here to see Kalapana's 50th Anniversary concert!

The Kalapana concert was fantastic! I also loved the setting. The chairs behind the tables area were not very comfortable and very close together. The food was ok, but not great. Service was friendly. I would go to another concert there, but I would have to book a table and bring my own outside food if we can.

Beautiful winery with a fantastic selection of delicious wine. They have plenty of seating, inside and out. There is covered outdoor seating on the balcony, or in the sun downstairs. Service is always friendly, and you are able to bring your own food if you wish.

Deceitful listing of what is included in the Cali BBQ plate..

Before pre-ordering and pre-paying for the "Memorial Day BBQ" plate (event Sun 5/25/25), I called the winery and confirmed that the BBQ plates were of the meat choices listed on the website. When redeeming out BBQ plate though, the staff member stated that it is only for ONE of the three BBQ meat options. Our large group would've eaten anywhere else...we only chose this winery due to the BBQ event, we had other options in mind. Deceitful marketing and poor customer service. See photo *please note that if you follow the link to reserve, it does clarify that the salad, elote & coleslaw are $5 additional each.. but listing does not say you only get tri tip OR pulled pork OR jerk chicken.. we pre-paid for a small sandwich which was totally unnecessary - we should've just gone to a restaurant before the winery, a BBQ restaurant.. the options were plentiful. Side note: aside from the disappointment with the food, our group did enjoy the live music, the patio / games, and the wine. thus the 2 stars. please correct your marketing / social events manager (the event should state tri tip OR pulled pork OR jerk chicken.. the key word that is omitted is "OR")

As always, a great experience at South Coast. Spent some time in the tasting room, and Natasha was absolutely amazing, recommending unique wines, and describing them perfectly! Definitely our go to in Temecula!

Stopped by at the tasting room for a quick snack and glass of wine. I started with a glass of the Chardonnay and then a Riesling. Both were good and the Riesling not too sweet and quite light. The hummus plate was my favorite! It was quite big so go for it and share or eat it all like I did. That chili oil is a nice touch. Stop by and enjoy!

The winery is a nice place to visit. Unfortunately, I did not love the wines. That's just my opinion. Please go visit for yourself. You may love the wines. The ambiance was great, the hosts were pretty awesome, I just was not very fond of the wines. The grounds were beautiful. A place you should visit. The restaurant looks really good. For me, the wines were just not good.

Fabulous property! Excellent environment for entertaining and engaging with others while savoring the fruits of the vines!

I've been a loyal wine club member at South Coast Winery for quite some time, and I used to proudly bring friends and family here, knowing the experience would be top notch. Sadly that's no longer the case. On my recent visit, I was shocked by the lack of knowledge and professionalism from the staff especially in the Wine Club Member area. The team working there seemed inexperienced and untrained, with little understanding of the wines on the menu or the award winning legacy this winery once upheld. I asked for a specific wine, and the server brought me something completely different. No explanation, no apology just confusion. It felt like he either didn't know or assumed I wouldn't notice. Very disappointing. What's even more frustrating is the clear difference between the Wine Club Member area and the main tasting floor. The staff on the general floor where regular visitors go to taste and purchase wine seem to be the more knowledgeable, seasoned team members. It's concerning that those of us who are loyal members aren't receiving the same level of service or expertise. South Coast used to be a place that celebrated quality, hospitality, and a true appreciation for wine. Unfortunately, it feels like that's been lost. I no longer feel valued as a member, and it's heartbreaking to say I'm ready to move on. South Coast Winery, I truly hope you find your way back to the excellence and pride you were once known for. I can't say I'm the top notch wine connoisseur but I can tell you I have five different memberships at five different wineries and I'm always looking for new wine. I have been on and off with you 15 years. This is the third time I have been here in disappointment and I believe in three strikes you're out.

They're the best with rich, complimentary flavors in each dish! Our server was great! Very pleasant! I love the ambiance at this particular winery because the views are gorgeous! There are multiple seating areas - the main veranda, an extended seating area directly to the side of the main deck (veranda), and cabana seating (deposit required). The way the veranda is framed with greenery looking out at the hills is stunning. Miramonte is still one of my favorite places in Temecula Wine Country!

Our plan was to relax, make memories, have good food and wine, and experience the beauty of Temecula wine country. Miramonte was our first vineyard and we had dinner there on the patio. We got a table that didn't have a view and instead it was in the middle of the patio dining area. There were so many other guests around us and it was loud. At least it was shaded and I think there were misters...? So that made things enjoyable in terms of the heat. We ordered their pitcher of White Sangria (which was somewhere around $42-$48). It said there was going to be peach in the batch with other fruit. The result was frozen berries in a very water downed pitcher if white wine and ice. I hate to say this, but I have had better White Sangria at The Olive Garden. The one I make at home was 100 x's better. For food we ordered the Charcuterie Board, which was huge! That was a very impressive display of cured meats and cheeses. Totally loved the pickled vegetables! We also ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Oaxacan Pepperoni & Honey Flatbread, and Truffle Garlic Fries (I think they said "truffle," but I could ne wrong because all I tasted was garlic and parm). The Mushrooms were delicious! I would order that dish again, but then again I am a lover of mushrooms. At the end, I was surprised to not get any Bach party recognition. Most of the places we went to, my girls and I got perks for the celebration. I mean the hostess didn't even wish a "Congratulations." At least she was nice to get a group shot with the beautiful sunset. I am usual a 5-star giver and I feel bad giving this place a 2-star. Luckily some of the food was actually good, so thank goodness a 3-star is the final result. I mean Miramonte did set our bar very low for the rest of the wineries thus making the other ones we went to on our trip were supreme -- which were Akash and Ponte. Both Akash and Ponte were aaaaaaamazing!

The beauty of Vienza, the authenticity of Bolero (+ the incredible restaurant), and the simplicity of C'est La Vie are all really alluring. I personally like the C'est La Vie wines the best, the Vienza architecture and grounds the best, and then I like Bolero most for eating (and having drinks) in the VIP lounge. They each have their own appeal. What gets overlooked is the staff. I feel like I'm going to Cheers when I go there. Everyone knows me. Special shout out to their best employees, starting with my faves Rebecca - always happy and chipper, awesome conversation and customer service. Preston - very chill and has an understated sense of humor that I really like, great service too. Elijah - makes me feel like we've been great friends for 20 years. Dr. Doug - the best wine server in the Bolero VIP lounge. Rachael - will sit and engage with you for as long as you want, on any topic that you want. Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!

He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same.
