The ambiance is great! It's very dog friendly inside and out. The outside has two levels of tables with nice views. The indoor tasting room is large with some tables. There's food which you can order from a window and pick up which is pretty good. It's mostly pizzas, salads and sandwiches. The wine tasting was just okay, or maybe I didn't make good selections. Akash Winery was the very first stop on my birthday weekend getaway with my husband, and it completely set the tone for an amazing trip! My husband and I haven't done much wine tasting together before, so this was a really special experience for us. Our initial host, Spencer, was fantastic. He explained to us how the wine tasting experience there works and how Akash is a bit different from other wineries because they blend fun, entertainment vibe with being a true, family owned winery where most of the wine is made right in house. It's such a cool atmosphere! We were seated outside with Tyler as our server, who was also great. The property is beautiful and they focus a lot on dry wines, which we loved. We tried a little bit of everything my husband's favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc, and I completely fell in love with their Muscat. I'm more of a sweet wine kind of girl. I had to buy a bottle right on the spot. Highly recommend stopping by here if you want great wine and a really fun, welcoming environment! Please note on Saturday, there are no kids allowed and a guard checks your car at the parking lot. I got the chance to experience both Friday and Saturday and I have to say they both are my vibes. Robert was so nice and helpful. It was my first time that I was visiting this winery and we were there for my friend's bachelorette. Booked the reservation wine tasting (2 whites, 3 reds) for a bachelorette. Arrived and our table was set up in the patio overlooking the vineyards. The winery is soooo beautiful, service was amazing (i think our server's name was Cliff), and we also got to walk through the vineyard for a little bit. Each wine had a generous pour too. On Saturdays, there is a pizza vendor there so we shared 3 pizzas - all so delicious! Would 100% come back when we're in Temecula!! read more

When you are in Temecula you have to stop by a winery. This day trip we hit Akash. Family owned. We loved it! Why?... *As you drive up the entrance towards the lot, you will be stopped by a very friendly guard who asks you 2 questions...(1) Do you have any children in your car? (2) Is everyone 21 & over? *No children are allowed here...not even infants...It was refreshing not to have children in an "adult" environment...just sayin... *Beautiful grounds & great views *Mo served our drinks at the bar. He was great! I've tried this winery a few times and always had a good time with the short visit. This time I had an opportunity to enjoy a tasting with the assistant wine maker Roberto. He took us on a wild journey of the Akash wines. The wife and I really enjoyed his effort, expertise, his attention to detail and allowing us to enjoy all aspects of the winery. We really felt like customer service and hospitality was top of mind while providing that experience. We definitely found some of our favorites during the tasting and had to leave with a bottle, the view is amazing, love the seating arrangements, very nice members area, the music, the vibe. We shared a flight and sat on a table outside to enjoy the sunset. They had a few other guests and we noticed that they were setting up for a proposal during sunset. Spring/Summer Favorites: The Muscat Caneli is a great first glass for folks on the sweeter side. I sense "notes" of apricot, citrus and honey - it's nice. Overall favorite, Dreamville Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc. Not available as of this review, though such a bright and refreshing pour! A toast has to be made. The Dreamville Sauvignon Blanc is a staple for me! It's earthy and feels smooth to taste. You'll find yourself a repeat offender, so go for the bottle for the table - have some manners! For the rosé lovers, I'd say go for the Sparkling Rosé! It has notes of cranberry and I'm eyeing a couple of bottles for holiday cocktails. *wink* Fall/Winter Favorites: I go for the reds! The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot I enjoy, each with their own unique character. Though less peppery than I prefer, The Cab is still quite robust. The Merlot, atypical to those I've tried elsewhere, is bolder - a nice surprise to have more body to taste. The Dreamville Blend No. 67 takes the crown though. I've visited Akash Winery in Temecula several times over the past couple of years, and each visit has been a pleasant experience. The winery itself is beautiful, modern, and offers great views. It's spacious, and the open-air patio is relaxing. Their wine lineup is solid and consistent. I've enjoyed trying different flights on each visit, and their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Dreamville Syrah are favorites for me. The staff is mostly (some more than others) friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to chat about the wines or offer recommendations. I appreciate that they also have beer, though some options aren't available for a taster since they're canned only. The beers are solid, as they're brewed at 8-bit Brewing. A great brewery in Murrieta! The only minor downside is that on weekends or during events, it can get quite busy. This sometimes means longer waits for tastings or limited seating in shaded areas, especially on hotter days. Akash Winery has live music on weekends, food trucks and pop-up dining, special wine release parties, seasonal celebrations, and occasional winemaker dinners with curated pairings. There is always something happening at Akash, which I certainly appreciate; however, I also value the opportunity to simply relax and enjoy a more tranquil atmosphere, especially with a glass of wine and the beautiful views. I stopped here on my way to Idyllwild on a Friday afternoon. My partner and I arrived right as they opened at 11am, just barely ahead of a party bus. The folks working were so friendly and knowledgeable! I am admittedly not a wine connoisseur and the sommelier gave me great recommendations. My partner had two beers and they were equally as good as my two wines! The outside seating was comfy and welcoming, inside was the same and the AC was very refreshing. We also had our dog with us and he is pretty timid and skittish. There is so much space we were able to find a spot where he could calm down away from other folks. I came here for yoga in the vineyards on Mother's Day. I had never been to Akash before, but it was super easy to find and navigate our way to where the class was being held. The instructor was so nice and got us set up with mats. The weather was supposed to be super hot that day, but fortunately for us, there was some cloud cover for most of the class. It was a great class and perfect way to start Mother's Day. After the class, a glass of wine is also included so we went to the tasting room and ordered a glass of sparkling rose. It was great! We stopped in here because it was one of the only breweries or wineries that was open past 5 PM because we drove in from Palm Springs and we were looking for a place to go. They had wine options and beer options because they also have a brewery a cute little gift shop and also some options for food . The day that we had, I think it was Tuesday and they had a taco truck which is awesome is very very good and the patio was really nice. I had great views. They also had live music and it was enjoyable to hang out on the patio for such a great night if you're not a wine person and you're a beer person this is the place to go or vice versa. I had the chance to visit Akash a few years ago and recently went again while on a wine tour. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day on our own (haha). They have great wine (my favorite was the rose sparkling and estate Sauvignon blanc). They also have great beer if that's more your thing. They have a beautiful outdoor area that's dog friendly with views of their vineyard. I particularly enjoyed sitting outside, sipping on my wine, and eating the delicious pizza they offer on the patio. Oh also, they offer caviar tastings and caviar bumps if you just want a quick sample. I ended up purchasing several different caviars and putting it on my pizza ;) Everyone that helped us was so friendly, nice, and knowledgeable about the wines.
