GENERALLY OPEN LATER - MUST GO ON A SUNDAY EVENING! I do not frequent Temecula very often. I've only been here a few times. Visiting wineries is a fun way to spend a Sunday in Temecula, yet the only down side is that the majority of wineries close at 5pm. The Peltzer, however, is open a bit later and usually till 7pm. I have a very nice time here. The two wines I tried here were very good. The service was friendly and welcoming. I happened to love the vibe and decor here a bit more as it was not all restaurant orientated. It felt more like a family friendly brewery where you can bring a board game and sip some wine and enjoy your time with friends. I would definitely come back to the Peltzer! read more

The ambience and service at the bar and in the winery itself is good, even though it gets very busy the service is still great and it's a great place to sit around and catch up with friends while sipping wine. 5/17/26 Food: I arrived at 5:30pm, sat with friends for 20 minutes I then went to get food. I was told by a staff member that the only food was out of the food truck in front of the building. I ordered nachos and a quesadilla, the waited for 1 hour to get my food, I had ordered by 6pm. I did not get my food until 7:05pm. Two employees were running the food truck and only one was working on the orders. By the time my food was handed to me it was past the time to go. Post ordering I was given a buzzer and was told to stay near because if it went off and I wasn't close it might not buzz. All of my friends were in the member area of the winery so I opted to stay near the food truck. I did ask about my order, I asked for it to just be cancelled but was told that it was being worked on; one hour later I finally received the smallest most bare carne asada nachos and a small quesadilla. read more

Peltzer is such a fun and welcoming spot in Temecula. There's a short walk up to the winery, but the property is so lovely that it feels like part of the experience. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of outdoor seating, charming décor, and even pigs and small activities such as "gem mining"--which adds to the relaxed, family‑friendly vibe. Inside, the tasting room is large, lively, and inviting. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to share their wines with us. They also gave us great recommendations for other wineries to check out during our weekend, which we really appreciated. Peltzer doubles as a venue, and you can tell--there's always something happening. Concerts, weddings, events... it feels like a place that has something for everyone. We can't wait to come back and explore more because it truly feels like a winery you can enjoy in a dozen different ways. Comfy and cozy. The staff is friendly, the music is hip country, and the have wine and beer! One of the few wineries that branch out to include beer, and they have a good selection. The wine is typical Temecula style, light and easy, both g complex, but the vibes are high and it's lots closer than Napa!! They also have food trucks on property and music on an outdoor stage on occasion. All in all, one of our favorite spots in the valley. read more

I've been on the wine tasting tour. It was fabulous. I know nothing about wine. The tour was very informative. The guide answered all questions. Our charcuterie board was the perfect accompaniment. This is one of the most recommended wineries from friends! We ended our Temecula trip here :) We got here around 5pm on a Saturday. It was BUSYYY, lots of families here. Very hard to find a seat inside and outside. They have a bunch of food trucks, but by the time we got there a lot of them were running out of food. Such a beautiful winery though, great view of the hills. These wines were much more bitter than the others we tried from neighboring wineries. We were able to find a counter inside to seat 15 of us. I went to meet a friend in the evening and she loves wine. I saw this winery is open pretty late. First thought was it's dark, I hope they have lots of lights, I don't want to wander in the dark. The signs to the winery was visible and the entire winery was well lit. They had a big ice skating rink, huge Christmas tree in the parking lot, and huge barn with a live band. We had to walk down to the bathroom by the parking lot, but we enjoyed our time there. read more

Last night, your entire team left the premises leaving my wife and two other women trapped in your parking lot. An employee in a golf cart drove by them and made eye contact but didn't say anything to them that the gate was being locked and it was time to go. They were on their way out, but stopped to take a couple photos. That employee should have given them a heads up. There also should have been other employees to check the premises for any stragglers. These three women were trapped there in the near pitch black for over two hours before the police arrived to help them out. This is unacceptable. I understand that if someone leaves the property, and leaves their car behind, then they are S.O.L. until you open the next day, but THEY WERE STILL THERE. Please do better. read more

We took a quick trip to Temecula for a change of scenery and headed to Peltzer Winery because they have an ice rink--and it was SO much fun. They had a huge white tent set up, which was perfect since it was raining, and the kids looked absolutely adorable getting their skates on. They even had little skating pushers to help them, which was such a win. Inside, there was a food and wine stand--we tried both the white and red sangrias and wow, they were delicious, while the kids sipped on hot cocoa. They will wrap up the season on January 19th so hurry and take the trip out. & they will be doing "cheap skates" discounted sessions for the next 2 weeks Tuesday-thursday. Wife and intook my daughter and her daughter for Mother's Day. Having nice time with complementary flowers and other activities. Daughter was waiting in line for food over 45min and just also switched with her. Then at 1pm they say no more food orders taken, they are running out of food. This is long, long overdue. Found this beauty of a winery on our first visit to Temecula after a super disappointing visit/awful experience at the highly rated Miramonte winery nearby. The large, open barn space is so welcoming and creative. We immediately felt so much at ease and not at all claustrophobic just walking in. Our wine tastings came paired with yummy bread samples from Great Harvest Bread Co., which went so amazingly well together! The merch here is great too! I still have and use their stemless wine glasses all the time, as well as regularly lounge in their super funny and still so soft "Sip Happens" shirt, both purchased during this visit. Went for the pumpkin patch and had a good time. $2 admission for the general patch area, and ticket purchase for all the other activities. Our kids did the pony ride and the train ride. I'd say the train ride is pretty short and probably not worth it. The petting zoo was fun. There was a food truck and the tasting room was open so we grabbed a "frozeezy" which was too sweet for my taste. It was either made with too much sugar to assist with the freezing or made out of a port wine or something sweeter like that.
